Provide a sufficient permission in the local security policy, if you install SQL express as well as the volume of the app as the backup Administrator, debug as an administrator, log in as a service to the domain user. Also make sure the time is correct on the computer. You must restart the computer after you gave permission.  Most of the cases you already have full filled what mentioned above, but still you get an error.  To get rid of it, you must copy the appvolume installation files to the local directory, may be in the C drive and recommending only not to mount the ISO in virtual CD ROM, instead of copy and extract the ISO locally.  the next important thing is that you must run the setup.exe AppVolume run as administrator.

• Confidence for app.newDoc function always returns the undefined value

  I'm doing a script activated by button.  Its purpose is to save a copy of the first page (form data erasure) in its own file in the same path as the open document.  As part of that I had to create a trust to cover the privileges of the app.newDoc function.  I have the following:

  This was recorded in a file called "newdoc.js" in the "app" of javascript.  I closed my Acrobat Pro XI and restarted.  As soon as I try to activate a button with just: "myDoc = trustedNewDoc var (500,500);", it opens the document as specified, but I get "undefined" returned to myDoc - that avoids manipulation of the Fryer.

  If I run the same line of the console, it also returns the value undefined.  Running "myDoc = var app.newDoc ();" also returns undefined, but just "app.newDoc ()"; only returns '[Doc]' - even if ' trustedNewDoc (500,500); "alone is still undefined.

  In any case, I feel like I'm missing something fundamental, even if I found some guides suggesting to do exactly what I have it implemented.  I am pretty sure I have everything entered correctly and followed all the steps, so at this point I'm stumped.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  Unfortunately there aren't really examples I found where a value was returned.  Maybe it's the good sense and I should have better, but I thought that the value has been returned by other means.  In any case, it's great to work with your help!  Now, I have a separate question, with what I need to see if I can get help.   We are currently migrating our client applications of APEX 4.2 to 5 APEX. One of these APEX applications using Excel to create a page of interactive report. This means that the user can select a view, materialized in the Excel plugin as a source and he or she can select columns. After you save the changes, a stored procedure uses wwv_flow_api.create_page (...), wwv_flow_api.create_worksheet (...), wwv_flow_api.create_worksheet_rpt (...) to create a new page in the Apex with the sql query generated. To synchronize report columns, wwv_flow_worksheet_standard.synch_report_columns has been used so far (4 Apex). Apex 5 call Wwv_flow_worksheet_standard.synch_report_columns will return "Internal error ORA - 20987 APEX".

  We can create a new page in the Apex with an interactive report, but the report columns are not created. If I edit this page in the application builder and add a dummy column to the query of source of interactive report, all columns will be created. Therefore, there is a solution to create and display columns of APEX 5 report, which must be done by synch_report_columns.

  I know that it is not recommended to use not documented, apex-internal functions and procedures, but we have currently no time to implement another solution. It would be great if we could use the built-in apex to create an interactive report from a given sql query.

  Does anyone have any experience with creating a page from base to APEX 5 apex? Or is anyone know how we can sync/update the columns of an interactive report without manually adding a dummy column?

  If you add just new columns nullable or nine tables, you can certainly run a DDL script in the appropriate LifeCycleListener method. In some cases, you will need to create a temporary database, copy all the data, then delete the current DB and put the temperature in his place.

  To simplify things, I suggest you add a 'version' table in your database where you will store the version number of DB. Just do a quick query to obtain the number, then run the appropriate DDL statements.

  However you app is distributed, there is the possibility that users might ignore some updatesif app they were offline for an extended period. Therefore, you should check that your code is able to apply all relevant DB updates sequentially. This means that, if a user updates to v1.0 v3.0 (jump v2, 0), the app starts the DB from 1.0 to 2.0, then from 2.0 to 3.0. In other words: never assume that all users update to current-1 to the current version.
