  Sorry, but there is no way to retrieve the PID key that was printed on the COA Microsoft sticker. Further, the key that would have been recovered since the failed hard drive now is not the same as that on the sticker. You will need to use the recovery/restoration of HP/Compaq media to install the factory OS on the new hard drive. If you do not have this media, you can be able to demand for HP business support.

  Do NOT install ANY registry cleaner. You should be happy that you have lost the license key....

  Registry cleaners will not improve performance, double the speed of a computer or any other spurious clams do.

  At the time of Windows 9 x, it is important to control the size of the registry, and to that end, Microsoft has released their own registry cleaner that removed only the entries that have been quite safe to remove.

  BUT it was at the time of Windows 9 x.

  Windows NT and all operating systems created by TN do not manage the registry in the same way that Windows 9 x has done. Windows NT and higher have a much larger limit to size, and they ignore the orphan entries.

  Windows 7 registry can go up to 2 GB before the BONE falls, and even a well used system is unlikely to have a registry of more than 250 MB.

  If you reformatted your computer then you probably lost the possibility to determine the serial number of the installed software.

  You do not have.  You must have bought or registered your Adobe software under your username. If you have no proof of purchase from Adobe or an authorized dealer, you get this box.

  If you have it on Ebay or any other third party without transfer of license, you are not the owner, as they see it.

  Adobe also knows that if there is a way to get the serial number of your operating system, anyone could get it, so it's encrypted.

  I am looking to buy the Student Edition of Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and wanted to know the number of license keys, it comes with. I mean to put on two of my computers and buy rather non editing if I can't get more than one license.

  I don't know if education is different, but the General Adobe license allows 2 activations at once (it's desktop and laptop)

However, during the launch of any program CS6, Adobe Application Manager then lance and tells me that my creative cloud membership is now expired. How/where to enter my CS6 license key? I tried to enter my new license on my Adobe account profile > 'My products and services' and reinstalled CS6 requests from my original disk image (MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.dmg).

  Including that of another thread, after which I could connect again with my Adobe ID and my software is ready for use:

  Windows:

  Delete these folders

  C:\ProgramData\Adobe SLStore

  SLCache in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe

  C:\Users\(Your Username OOBE) \AppData\Local\Adobe

  Mac:

  Delete SLStore and SLCache in Application Support/Adobe

  Delete ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe OOBE
