  If in Photoshop when I select a tool in the toolbar and right-click, I give myself a "sub" Tools menu to choose. In Illustrator, however, the same can't.   you forgot to try just clicking (left mouse button) and hold a bit.

  I think that's what most users with little computer experience first tries, but you are too advanced.

  Edit: it will show faster if you click and drag (left mouse button). And don't forget that you can tear the submenus by moving the mouse to the tear-off bar on the right side of the submenus

  Edit 2: and the left mouse button holding or dragging in Photoshop works the same too

  My question is hidden in what concerns the click & hold the delay of selection tool in the toolbar. Since the last update of Photoshop CC 2015 (version: 2015.0.1, Build: 20150722.r 168 x 64) the delay time after I click & hold is significantly more time to display the option of the tool in the toolbar (for example, click on & keep on the move tool to access the work plan tool). Is it possible to shorten this period in preferences somehow? I went through each of the menus in the preferences and didn't see an option for this. Any help, as always, be appreciate! Thank you!

  If you want them to appear earlier, use a right-click instead to wait or try a left click. When you right click, they should appear.

  1. start Internet Explorer.

  2. Select Tools > Internet Options, and then click the Advanced tab.

  3. check if "enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart)" and click OK.

  4. close all Internet Explorer Windows.

  5 restart Internet Explorer.
