  I have ADE installed 4.03.  The problem will occur as soon as that ADE is closed and reopened.    It takes so the patch every time allows you to download a book ADE.

  1. for Overdrive - select a book and click Download. -pop - up - select - Save file. - under the open with select - acsm_auto_file - download the file of social mobilization in your download directory.

  2. expand the Explorer open the file - go up to the OS (c)-

  -go to Program files (x 86) - enlarge

  -to enlarge Adobe

  -go to Adobe Digital Editions and the left click.

  -On the right part of the screen right click on Digitaleditions.exe.

  -Pop - up menu - on the left, click PROPERTIES

  -Pop up to select COMPATIBILITY

  -at the top of the menu compatibility, choose the resolution of compatibility issues run

  -Pop up to select the troubleshooting program

  -Pop up choose the program worked in earlier versions of windows, etc.

  -on the left, click NEXT

  -POP up - which version etc? Choose that I don't KNOW

  -on the left, click NEXT

  -POP - up - left click Test Program-

  -Select the file of the CMHA in the right side of the window and on the left, click OPEN

  -It should work, but you have to go through the whole routine if you close ADE.

  I HOPE ADOBE will solve this problem. With each update of Windows 10 ADE seems crumbles a bit more.

  In addition to Veritas Aequitas comment, you can go to a search engine such as 'Bing' and type what you are looking for and select images.   But in regards to your public library, their IT Department could have blocked all access to that.

• Windows 10 - ADE not detected when I download books from the public library

  Since installing Windows 10 and 4.5 of the ADE, when I download a book in a public library it just downloads the file to some directory .epub I chose.  To get it in ADE, I have to go through the "Add to library" function in the ADE.

  That's fine, but ADE does not recognize it as a borrowed book, so I can't return it when I finished it.  I approach the maximum number of books I have checked with my local library because these books will not be returned.  Apparently, I have to wait for them has expired.

  Ideas?

  Well, I got the answer today at our local library.

  Books, that I was just downloading was be books "Open EPUB", which means they have no DRM protection.  I can keep them as long as I want.

  An unexpected consequence of these 'loans' is that there is no way to return the books before their expiration date, so that they are based on my library account, running the number of books I checked.  The librarian told me that if I really need to send back them at the beginning so I can consult books more I could send a request it and it can return manually.

  Problem solved.

  I work in a public library - we now have at least three customers affected by the issue where ADE closes unexpectedly after you open a .acsm file and during the implementation phase.

  All three clients use Mac OS 10.10.2. A person uses 4.0.1 4.0.2 one person and only one person uses 4.0.3.

  They see the following information in the dialog system error:

  The ebook seller we advised that having customers roll back to ADE 3.0 version, and have re - authorize clients.

  Adobe has a solution for this problem that roll back?

  I tried to speak with an agent of conversation on this subject and was referred to this forum. A customer service poor experience overall even though the chat operators are polite and tried to help as much as they could.

  In the window 'Edit license', I have a valid license of entry, but got an error message saying «Error loading library license» (The original error message is in Chinese and I translated it into English, so I'm not sure that the words are exactly the same as in the English version).

  It looks like something wrong before that the login server check the licesen. If the license is really invalid, the error message should be as "the license is invalid" instead of «Error loading library license» I got the error "invalid license" before but never encountered the message "load error".

  I tried to download the optimizer media Woodvine, which is required to view videos through hype, a library service, and first of all, I get a dialog box saying "Firefox prevented this site (tools.google.com) asking you to install the software on your computer. There is a button "allow." When I press on that, it seems to start the download, but then I get an error message saying "The Add - could not be downloaded due to a connection problem with Tools.Google.com".

  I could download the add-on (and see a video) in IE and the documentation on the add-on says it is supported in Firefox, but it is not in the library of Firefox Add-on, when I'm sailing there.

  Any ideas? I'd rather not have happen browsers when I want to use the hype.

  (And I just tried to do the steps below (with "Automatically add" troubleshooting information and basically the same thing has happened - except the Add source - it was different.)) I may have a few settings that says I want all new Add-ons?

  I was able to download and install the add-on after turning off the web shield in my Avast anti-virus successfully software. Thanks for your help!

  Hello BETTIE, welcome to the Palm support community.

  What you're trying to do cannot be done!  Windows Media Player Mobile isn't a PalmOS program - it is a program for Windows Mobile.

  ActiveSync is also a Windows program, designed for your computer and will not work with a PalmOS device.

  What format is the video that you are trying to view?  What is a DVD?  It is in the form of .wmv?

  There are several programs for sale which can read files in format .wmv - CorePlayer, and Kinoma EX player are two that come to mind.

  running vista home premium.  I download audio books from my public library using Overdrive Media Console (required).  Worked very well, have not added a new software, upgrades, etc.  I now get the error above, code that says: license storage does not.  Contact microsoft.  I ran the update level of safety either said by the way.  As I said, everything worked until today.  I know that the licenses are not stored with the file, but separately on the computer, but I don't know where or how to access them, or what to do to solve the problem if I could.  Can anyone help?

  In case you have not yet resolved, this should help:

  1. Open the 'Control Panel'.
  2. Open "Folder Options".
  3. Select the tab 'display '.
  4. Select 'display the hidden files and folders '.
  5. Uncheck "Hide protected operating system files".
  6. In the warning message you receive, click 'yes '.
  7. Click on 'OK '.
  8. Close the control panel
  9. Navigate to that folder in my computer: c: documents and Users.Windows users.   There is a folder called DRM.
  10. Right-click on the DRM folder and rename it DRM.old.
  11. Close this window and open the OverDrive Media Console software.
  12. Go to tools > Windows Media Player Security upgrade.
  13. Once the WMP security upgrade has been done, download audio book title again.
  14. Optional: return to the display of the Control Panel - folder Options - and restore your folder view options to their original state.

  (1) this is probably a question that you would have to ask questions about the public library.  Are you happen to work at the public library and this machine is dedicated to your use then it can be good (with the library) to install your own software, although many companies need their control on what software is installed on their machines.

  (2) your subscription cannot be shared.  If it is a machine that is accessible to any person other than yourself, then in order to respect your license or subscription agreement, you must sign in and out of her, so that it is no longer available for your use.

  Before you try to download the ebooks renewed, I deleted all of my library of ADE, erased my browser, internet cache so that my laptop clock has been set at Edmonton zone (I usually have on the time zone of the client I work with) then restarted my browser and connected to epl ebooks. I have also uninstalled/reinstalled the software.

  I use windows 8.1 and Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.126523 and the SeaMonkey browser. I can't find a place to update ADE software ADE, so I guess that it is up-to-date.

  My Kobo ereader and the installation of the ADE are less than four weeks, so it's the first time I tried to renew anything.

  Since this problem started, I am also unable to download any new epub library books. I hesitate to link the Kobo as has happened in the case that I also lose access to the books I'm reading.
