  • Unable to use wireless internet. In addition, my windows update will not be installed.

Original title: extended error code = Oxfof4

I have a couple of different symptoms. My laptop acts like it doesn't even have wireless capabilities although the exact model the same sitting next to her was a strong wireless signal (I still had internet capability on this laptop also). In addition, my windows update will not be installed.  I checked "Event Viewer" in system tools and have all sorts of errors. Error service Control Manager, "Warning b57w2k", code error Windows Update Agent and more. Still, the laptop doesn't move and accesses files, but no internet. I scanned with AVG and Malwarebytes 0 infection. Uugh!  Any suggestions?

Many laptops have a switch that turns on or off the wireless radio.  This can be a physical switch somewhere on the laptop or a combination of the Fn key and one of the F keys.  Read the user manual for the laptop for more details.

The warning includes "b57w2k" seems to be linked to a Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit Controller (not wireless, wired).  You can click the copy (just below the up/down arrows) on the property sheet for the event and paste the content in your next post here.

In general, the report that you have 'all kinds of errors' in Event Viewer is not very useful.  We do not understand what you're watching.

MY WINDOWS IS NOT INSTALL UPDATES

    Hello

    · Do you receive an error message or error code when you try to install updates?

    · Were there any changes made on the computer before the show?

Search for the installation error code that your computer has saved when the installation failed. To do this, follow these steps:

    a. Click Start, click all programs and then click Windows Update or Microsoft Update.

    b. on the Windows Update Web site or on the Microsoft Update Web site, click view update history. A window opens that displays the updates that have been installed or that have failed to install on the computer.

    c. double-click the update has failed.

    (d) a new window opens that displays the installation error code.

  • Operating system. We have first Pro CS6 and Windows 7 32 bit. It will not be installed

    Dell laptop Latitude 6420

    Windows 7 Professional

    8 GB Ram

A user in PR must use Adobe first Pro CS6. However, when we tried to install the program is grayed out and displays a warning icon. If I hover over there is a message that says that he prefers the 64-bit. Rather not say will not work in my opinion. However it will not be installed.

I read that first Pro is 64-bit on another web site. Is this true? There must be a solution.

On the Adobe site, I saw that the installation of CS4 first was the work around, but you must purchase a license key. We have already purchased the Premier Pro and have no money in the budget to buy an old product when it should work.

Help, please. I'm under a lot of pressure to solve this problem

    James

Premiere Pro CS6 is a 64-bit software and will only install on a 64-bit computer. There is no way around that.

These two problems may be related?  I have installed Mcafee and it's date-said I have no viruses.  Can anyone help?

    Hello

    · What are the security updates that you are trying to install?

    · What is the error message or error code you receive when you try to install the updates, and also when you try to open a mail?

    · Do you remember all the recent changes on the computer before the show?

The question doesn't seem to be intertwined.

Search for the installation error code that your computer has saved when the Windows update installation failed. To do this, follow these steps:

    a. Click Start, click all programs and then click Windows Update or Microsoft Update.

    b. on the Windows Update Web site or on the Microsoft Update Web site, click on view update history. A window opens that displays the updates that have been installed or that have failed to install on the computer.

  • I bought the Windows Anytime Upgrade, but the software will not be installed.

Help... I bought the Windows Anytime Upgrade on Microsoft Office software to my Vista laptop, but the software will not be installed. Operation message is not supported on this platform. How to get around the facility? I have the product key number, but can not get so far to enter.

I think that you bought the right product. Updates at any time are for the upgrade edition of Windows 7 to a more expensive edition. This isn't what you need to upgrade a Vista system to Windows 7. While Vista upgrades are no longer available from the Microsoft Store.

I suggest that you return to the Microsoft Store site and use the contact methods to discuss your problem with an agent.

  • kb2539636 security update will not download/install automatically

    Download Vista security
I have a laptop with vista family premium, sp2, 32-bit windows. I need to download kb2539636 security update. It will not download/install automatically. The MS website shows three different files for this download. They are: a 64 x, an IAH64x, an x 86. Since I was a 32-bit system, no sounds just. Which one should I download?

    Hi Ranchman,

x 86 is commonly used instead of 32-bit (and no, I don't know why)-if it's one you need for a 32-bit system.  I looked up the update here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2539636.  Then I went to http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=27017 and I think that what you want is NDP40-KB2539636 - x 86 .exe.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck.

You have Microsoft Office on your computer?

I had the same problem of automatic updates now download and install this exact update and fails every time.  I think that the reason why it's a failure, it's that I have Microsoft Office on my computer, so it cannot update what either.
