  What the hell do you mean by a stand alone client?  With iWeb now as supported a product not there is nothing other than a single client.  You can be anything else.

  When you say upgrade, upgrade how - iWeb, Mac OSX?  You will have to provide much more information and even be specific as to what you've actually upgraded.

  What do you mean by "publish on the site" and "can't get there?  Find where - what does that mean?

  If you use iWeb 09, which is iWeb 3, so you have options of publication of site.  You must click on the name of the website in the top left and then the options will be displayed, which will be published via ftp and then publish to a local folder.  Click on this option and you can still post and then use Fetch to upload to the server in the same way.

  We run a cRio 9022 and I have a file Labview real-time sensor data reading. The file runs when the Rio turns on, but for me to see the data in real time, I reset the vi. So I thought just to post the file to a Web server, so I can just login and look at the data via a web browser at any time, without resetting the host file. However, I had trouble publishing the file on the network.   I am trying to publish via Web Deploy and have installed and running on the server of WWW Publishing Service.

• You can use Windows Explorer (in Windows XP) to view my files according to their DATE OF PUBLICATION (rather than the date of creation or modification).

  I have a lot of cuts in MY Documents. They are variously in format (TXT, WORD, and PDF). Using Windows Explorer, I know exactly how to display these documents based on their date of creation or update. But how to display these documents based on their release date.

  Name/rename the files with numbers on the front of the file name; for example, 01-11-2009 - historicaldocument1.doc, 02-13-1957 - historicaldocument2.doc. There is no way for Windows can read the text of a file whether it refers to the great Chicago Fire what on such and such a date.

  If you are doing historical research, you can check on some forums/newsgroup user on your particular area to see if other people use the documents management software. It would be the best way to go. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  Every 2-3 months I manually run the windows updates.  Recently, when I went to run the updates, I noticed that several updates of security for Microsoft .NET framework 4 on XP had old dates published there are up to 18 months.  I have never seen this before and was suspicious of these updates and chose not to install them.  How can old updates which were likely never offered to me before suddenly becoming available 18 months after the date of publication?  These updates are authentic and trustworthy?

  Did you recently install .NET Framework 4?

  You will need to check your history of update on the website to determine when .NET Framework 4 have been installed and which has occurred since the date of installation.

  Maybe updates have been "optional" before and now are offered as important/recommended now. Optional updates does not automatically download and install.

  Hello!  I just create a movie using Windows Movie Maker (HP Pavilion dv6000/Windows Vista Home Premium).  During the PREVIEW, the first part of the video of my film sometimes will not play (view) while the audio continues.   The file you are trying to convert may be a project .mswmm file
  It is only compatible with Movie Maker... they cannot be converted.

  When you try to access a video clip that you "know" is sometimes in a
  file, but you can not see... is it because that the format of in that the video is
  not compatibile with the software you are trying to access.

  The following freeware is a useful tool to convert a lot of different
  Movie Maker formats...... use the conversion to WMV format would be
  a good choice.
