  Ive tried to drop a video into my DPS with a 'video' from a url (Vimeo and Youtube links), I get the error: the URL must be compatible with Flash Player (I did my best to translate the error from Dutch into English).

  Using InDesign CC, right? This Flash error message appears in InDesign CC when you place the YouTube or Vimeo code embed. The video still works if you set up right. The best approach is to set the overlay to AutoPlay. This loads the YouTube video, but it does not play. The user must still press the play button.   I know .swf are not supported. I tried to make it work in edge animate or as a videofile but my Publication will not appear any video if I import a .mov, .mp4 or a .flv. even if the video file is in the same fodler as the .indd file.

  IM all out of luck here. Then, how would I get this thing to work? and why doesn't my video?

  Are you preview site in the edge browser? When you preview the page in the browser Muse create a local server to give you the preview in the browser. With the edge browser, there was a reported issue to access the local server.

• Made the switch from the Firefox chrome; now, meeting places and a few videos does not work

  I solved it! I had to use the original URL shorter links to create

  functional hyperlinks or try to short the links using Google URL Shortener.
