• Packaging of IE 6 as a published application

  Hello.

  My manager asked me if I was able to use Thinappto create a packeage deploy IE 6 (pre configured with a specific URL) as a published application.

  Our users use an application owner based on the web that works only with Internet Explorer version 6. It's rather limited because it prevents the Office team to upgrade their desktop images to a more recent version of IE or another borwser altogether.

  Can Thinapp accomplish this or any product of VMWare opther also?

  I see often demand to restart the BI Publisher application manual playback OBI, for example after installing attached schema. But I'm never clear what is the BI Publisher application and how to restart it. I saw a thread on start the WIndows service. As for Linux? I was able to restart the oc4j, but that stops all BI servers loaded in it. Is it possible that just restart Publisher but leave the other component BI as responses to the top of race?

  Hi guys/girls,

  I published a version of my application that is on the store, but I need to update the devices suported.

  I know you can do this through:

  -Product management
  -Spyglass under the column of releases
  -Click on Edit next to the release
  -Go to the Release Version of add
  -Click on edit in the column of device Support

  However, I need to know if this will take my version on the app store if it is approved. If this is the case can anyone suggest a way when the application cannot stay on the store (this is important) until I can get these added features?

  Changing device supported does not affect your release at all and it does not generate a support ticket. You can do so at any time.

  I just wanted you to know that I have found that the cause of the error and maybe this solution can help others.

  Instead of seeding and publication via screens Apex I used a script to seed and to publish, the script uses the procedure 'wwv_flow_translation_utilities.seed_and_publish '.

  After digging in the elements and ankles, I found that an article in which 137 request was bound to one region of another application 136.

  How this has happened today is still a question mark, but change the region of this element to a region of the same application solved this problem.

  I had created a fresh scheme for publication but the jboss was still pointing to the old.

  I've updated this pointers in file @ /server/ atg atg - ds - ds.xml. Worked like a charm!

  The QUESTION 1 depended on question 2. Once I ran publishing and completed the full deployment on ICC, 1st edition got resolved.

• Guide to publishing applications iPad

  I recently designed, built and submitted my application for approval following your guide step by step, step by step. It was very clearly written and everything was going along perfectly until I hit the last ten pages. Dreaded part involving Apple. iTunes Connect looked and acted quite different, so it was a little confusing to follow. I think I did everything correctly (my application is pending review), but I think I'll wait to see that everything has been done correctly.

  In any case, I want to thank you for your step by step guide available and congratulate you for making it easy to follow. But are there plans to update these last ten pages? I totally get that its almost impossible to keep up-to-date with any changes from Apple, but there will be an available pdf file update soon? Because that would be fantastic!

• HTML resources does not not in published application

  Has anyone encountered this problem?

  I have two pdf files configured to open in the browser in app via htmlresources. Everything is set up correctly in indesign and all previews very well in the content viewer / our custom Viewer.

  I published the application as a single edition in DPS App Builder application. Everything works fine, but when I go to view the pdf files the browser opens with this message.

  Could not open the Page

  This page does not open due to an error

  The error is 'the requested URL not found on this server."

  (- 1100).

  Anyone have any idea why this is happening? I missed something in the edition?

  Make sure that the file named exactly zip HTMLResources Select both PDF and zip it, do not compress the folder that contains the two PDF

• Published application on Nexus7 accidents

  We have developed and published versions of a subscription on the Amazon Appstore app and the Google Android game. The Amazon app downloads and works very well on the Kindle. The Google app shows the start screen but then crashes with this error: "Unfortunately, [application name] has stopped." The client and I have tested it on our Nexus 7 tablets and achieve the same result.

  Both applications were built the month last in the spectator with the v22 value version generator. For the Kindle, the market was set to "Amazon Appstore"; for the Google game, to "Android Market". Each has a unique application ID.

  We need to get this working for our client as soon as POSSIBLE. What we missed?

  There was a bug in the viewer of v22 that caused the viewer apps crashing on the Nexus 7. A fix in v22 has addressed this issue, but maybe you have submitted your application before the fix. I recommend that you download the latest version of the DPS App Builder and create a new Viewer v23 (do not change the existing Viewer) for Google and Amazon Appstore games and resubmit the apps.

  Also, keep in mind that the 1280 x 800 on the Nexus 7 "HD display has a larger system to (75 pixels instead of 48) navigation bar 10" Android devices, then will you want to explain that when you create your folio. For example, creating folios and articles 1205 x 725 avoids the scale on the Nexus.

  I published my first BlackBerry app earlier that day, and I could see from the World of BlackBerry app on my dev C alpha (and dev B alpha as well)

  I'm sure I selected all BB10 devices when adding the liberation, but now it says "not available for this device" and shows the download size: 0 b
