• Publisher XML with Excel output doesnot display values 000 or 0000

  Report XML Publisher looks like a table that has segment values that are stored in '000' or '0000' in the database.

  They are stored as characters in the database.

  XML editor when it is running, does not display these Excel output values if these are text fields (such as it is defined in the XML model).

  If she values such as 11190, it displays.

  If she values such as '000' or '0000', it doesnot display at all. They appear empty.

  Please advise on how to solve this problem.

  I am trying to call a function to return a set of rows with BI Publisher. When I want to look at the data on the 'Data' tab, I get "Failed to load XML".

  Here are the steps I took:

  Step 1: created a type

  create type numset_t as table of number;
  

  Step 2: Creating the function

  create or replace function f1(x number) return numset_t pipelined is
  begin
  for i in 1..x loop

  end loop;
  return;
  end;
  

  Step 3: Under "Data sets", I created a SQL query with the following options/code

  Code:

  Options: Data Source - my selected schema

  SQL type: Non-standard SQL

  Name of tag line: test

  How can I check my data using the button "data"?

  Here's the steps/documentation on how to call a function from BI Publisher:

  #1) make sure you use SYS_REFCURSOR.

  If I see in the simultaneous program, I get code APXINRIR.

  I opened XML Publisher and APXINRIRof research.

  I change this report in .rtf.

  But turn off the Update button, so I can not re - download this file.

  Hi Sonia,.

  Best General is never changing the seeded directly programs (reports, models, etc...).

  Make a copy of the data model, model RFT (in your case) an object custom (e.g. XX_APXINRIR) and adapt it to your needs and define the new ask competing who would refer to this new data and model rtf.

  PS: The "Update" is disabled for seeded reports - normal - it is always the case where Oracle does not allow any extension.

• Error trying to update the model XML using XML Publisher administrator

  Hello people,

  We are on R12.1.3

  I changed a condition in a report and you try to download the new model XML using XML Publisher administrator.

  When I click the button to apply, it is throwing an error "bad request".

  Navigation: XML Publisher Admin > data definitions > query report

  Click on the report name > click 'Update file', in addition to the data model > choose file > click Apply

  I get the below error

  Bad request

  Your browser has requested that this server could not understand.

  
  

  Now, I could not download a new model of XML.

  
  

  I'm doing something wrong.

• Adobe Captivate 8 - publish an imsmanifest.xml file invalid

  In recent weeks, my manager and I was importing files recorded WebEx (converted to mp4 format) in 8 Captivate and their publication in scorm 1.2, so that we can download them on our learning portal.

  Today, we started getting error messages saying that the file imsmanifest.xml is not a file valid scorm.

  When I opened the imsmanifest file, that's what I get:

  Some of the files publish very well, others are not.  The process is exactly the same.  Any ideas?

  

  Well, I think I have - I've edited the imsmanifest file and did a search for '& '.  The '&' took place in the name of the file uploaded mp4.

  I fixed that, reuploaded, republished, and everything is good.

• Generating PDF editable using XML Publisher

  I'm trying to generate an editable pdf form of R12 using XML Publisher.  I am able to generate my PDF and load some data to it, but whenever I generate the PDF, it turns out all of my read-only form fields.  I tried to create the xdo.cfg file and place it in $XDO_TOP/resource by using the code below.

  So, I realized what my problem was.    For some reason any my xdo.cfg file in $XDO_TOP/resource has not been read. Now, I tried putting in $OA_JRE_TOP/lib and it worked.  Thanks for your help.

  We have a report of rdf that prints the bar code in the start page based on a custom procedure of MarkView. It works well with Oracle Reports.

  But given that this report was a matrix report, we change it a linear relationship by Oracle XML Publisher report.

  We have every possible thing in the new Oracle XML report... But we are not able to print data from barcode which is BLOB in the XML report...

  Can someone help me on this? We have dates UAT at the corner...

  It seems to me this format is used in BI Publisher plant OBI and not Oracle XML Publisher.

  Hi, I created under the model to test several model of sheet in workbook (file is good, it opens in Internet Explorer without error). When I tried to download a model I get error, no matter what option of XSL, I chose:

• BI publisher - data as XML reports

  This is my first contact with BI Publisher, and I try to figure out how to create reports from data as. XML files.

  If you use version 10, then you must activate the output of 'data' for one of your RTF models. When you export, then select the format of the 'data '.

  If you use version 11, then you can get the raw XML data without creating page layout templates. If you change the data source, click on the XML icon on the top right.

• Option to output XML of BI Publisher

  In the past, I worked at a company that has implemented BI Publisher 11.x to have XML as an option in the output for BI reports written formats.
  
  However, I can't seem to duplicate that.
  
  Can someone explain how this can be done if any / all of the reports can be generated in XML, just as they may currently be in PDF, CSV, etc.?

• EBS XML Publisher and discoverer of the integration

  Greetings!
  
  We have an installation Oracle EBS (11i) and Oracle Discoverer. And the question is: is it possible to integrate worksheets of discoverer with the XML Editor, which is integrated in EBS?
  I found the manuals on the discoverer with BI Publisher Enterprise integration, but have no idea how do with the editor of the EBS. Maybe it is possible to upgrade EBS BI Publisher Editor without buying additional license?
  Any info is appreciated!

  Discoverer of Oracle 10 g / 11g with Oracle EBS 11i are certified so it should work with XML Publisher reports - I'm not clear about your needs, and it would be helpful if you could elaborate more.

• How to find the XML Publisher repository to the server Oracle EBS 11i?

  I need to update a models mass rtf that is born as a report xml editor in Oracle 11i apps. I know that I can go to the liability of Director of Publisher XML to load the model one by one between the user interface, but it's a lot of your time. I'm trying to find the location of these files in the server (unix or db). Also, is there any document on the deployment report xml to the application server Editor?
