PUK and RDP

Hi all

We have an application server in a Cloud Computing environment and the only way to access the app, at this stage, is via RDP (Remote Desktop). Due to the requirements of high availability on the server and usage, we are reluctant to install the developer of the PUK on the server itself. So, I've been having to use the developer on my local machine and access the application using a session terminal server. The problem is that the developer is not recognize input fields direct or details on the fields inside the RDP session. The best way to explain it is comparing it to looking through a window. I can draw boxes around things, I can manually add elements of direct entry to it, but it never does anything outside the overlay. In other words, what I save on the RDP session is "2 dimensions." I'm pretty certain PUK cannot pass through an RDP session, but I do not have a PM who told me that he used this exact configuration, and he was able to recognize areas of text, direct order entry, etc. Is there a setting on the server or the client that will allow me to go through RDP when recording or am I stuck with the installation of the client on the server? For the record, I have scoured the internet to find an answer to this and have not been able to find all the information about this situation. You can provide any help would be greatly appreciated. Citrix is out of the question and I don't have a direct access to the application on my local machine. The only access we have on the servers is RDP.

You get bonus points if you can send me in the direction of a target Application configuration for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009. (Note: I have no control over rewards through this site points.) "You just need points pertaining to my eternal love and affection!)

The general rule is for the PUK PUK to recognize the application that you save, and the application must be on the same machine. This is true for the Office at distance, Citrix, or any other similar application. However, I strongly encourage you to contact Support to ensure that you have explored all options: http://support.oracle.com/

Best regards
Marc

You can integrate the PUK into PeopleSoft in two ways (vanilla)
-the substitution of the help link
-With the help of content associated

Because you want to use both, I would say keep the PeopleBooks on the help link and set the PUK content through a related content

    Hi Feraud,

Thanks for posting your query in the Microsoft Community Forums.

According to the description of the problem, it seems that the remote desktop connection is blocked on the target computer.

I will certainly help you with this issue.

Here are some methods that you can try in order to solve the problem.

Method 1: Temporarily disable the antivirus from Symantec and check.

Warning: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 2: Change the listening port for remote desktop and check.

  • Strange thing happening with ASA and RDP by filtered VPN

    Hello

I'm hoping to get support here anymore as I am clearly out of options.

    I have 3 ASA 5505 2 and a 5510

all of them are connected via the internet by VPN

a 5505 is on my principles and I use VPN to serve 2 other sites that belong to the same customer. Clearly, I want to go the VPN will aswell to localities other than traffic from them.

the strange thing is if I put an IP address a whole on the acl filter can I use RDP, for when I apply the filter, where I activate TCP/3389, I get an error that the server is not found.

in forestry, I see the package hit the ACL:

    <167>:Jul 05 21:13:19 CEDT: %ASA-session-7-106102: access-list VPN_Filter permitted tcp for user '' User-Lan/192.168.1.87(58603) -> XS4ALL/172.31.2.12(3389) hit-cnt 1 first hit [0xbe2548e2, 0x0]

    VPN filter:

access-list VPN_Filter extended permit ip any any log debugging inactive

    access-list VPN_Filter extended permit object RDP object-group DM_INLINE_NETWORK_8 object Lan-Pat

    access-list VPN_Filter extended permit udp object-group DM_INLINE_NETWORK_4 object Lan-Pat eq tftp

    access-list VPN_Filter extended permit icmp object-group DM_INLINE_NETWORK_1 object Lan-Pat log debugging

    access-list VPN_Filter extended permit tcp object-group DM_INLINE_NETWORK_3 object Lan-Pat eq www

    access-list VPN_Filter extended permit tcp object-group DM_INLINE_NETWORK_5 object Lan-Pat eq https

    access-list VPN_Filter extended permit tcp object-group DM_INLINE_NETWORK_6 object Lan-Pat object-group DM_INLINE_TCP_1

access-list VPN_Filter extended deny ip any any log debugging

any help will be greatly appreciated!

If do you a RDP from your PC to the client session, port TCP/3389 is used on the client side and not on your side. So your ACL should be the following:

    VPN_Filter list extended access permitted tcp 172.31.2.0 255.255.255.0 eq 3389 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0

Remember: in a VPN-filter is the syntax = remote destination, local = source. Port 3389 is on the remote end.

We have a layer of compatible virtual channel RDP we were those who have developed a solution of RDP based VC can use our improvement of session SDK to modify and recompile their solution and it will work on a view session PCoIP. Problem is that it works in only for the admin.

The fact that local drive redirection is disable that copy / paste does not work?

  • Windows SBS 2008 - user is unable to RDP in even through that it's in the appropriate groups

    Hi guys,.

Problem: A user has been accidentally deleted from a Windows SBS 2008 server running Active Directory and we have been unable to grant him the rights of RDP - the error message indicates that the account must be granted "logon through Terminal Services right.

The installer: A single Windows SBS 2008 server running hyper-VM with a unique virtual machine on it which manages the TS licenses

    Tried to bugs/more information:

Things that we tried to do to solve the problem (all done via Active Directory users and computers)

    • He added to the administrators and remote desktop users groups
    • He added to the users group to the remote desktop on the virtual machine (the account can now connect to the virtual machine at least)
    • Cloned an existing account on the primary server
    • Removed and added the account through the SBS console and added to the admin and RDP groups (on the dedicated server and virtual machine)

None of them seems to have solved the problem. There are currently 2 free licenses of TS, so I don't think it's a licensing issue.

It's almost as if there is a top group policy setting or similar which replaces the user groups is added to, but I don't know where to look for here.

I've already made sure that the user do not have TS access turned off in the settings of the user's

  • Is it possible to resize the AnyConnect RDP window?

When a user goes through our portal without client and initiates an RDP session, the java window resulting is quite small... is there a way to force it to a different size (larger)?  In the wizard for creating bookmarks, it is one "other settings" field that has as one of the following examples:

When I try to add this at the end of the bookmark RDP (using the? parameter), users get the message 'credentials are valid, but you do not have the security controls.  If I put the bookmark back to normal, they can access the portal (and RDP) that makes no sense at all to me successfully.

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community Forum.

According to the description, you have a user facing problems with multiple pop accounts and rdp credentials when the connection / disconnection of a domain.

Since the problem is associated with multiple pop accounts and rdp credentials when the connection / disconnection of a domain, the question you posted would be better suited for the IT Pro on TechNet public. I would recommend posting your query in the TechNet Forums to get help:

  • PCoIP View Client and built-in customer Teradici

    Just a quick question.

Is the client for Windows (which contains an option PCoIP) identical using the built-in Teradici PCoIP customer?

Specifically, if I conducted tests using view Client on Windows XP, I can be reasonably certain that if I went with a TC5 DevonIT or Dell FX100 the embedded Teradici PCoIP would operate the same?

    Thank you

There are two ways to render the elements of a composition of the bureau. On the host side and rendered client-side rendering. We can say that those, Flash, WMV, H.264, MPEG etc are more demanding and difficult to make and deliver across a network components. On a PC, when you play this type of content, you will notice the CPU or spikes runs at high usage during playback that is working to decode and display the video.

With the rendering side host you must have a VERY good encoder to manage videos and do it as efficiently as possible through a network. Historically, this has been a problem for server based computing solutions.

Rendered on the client side or ROR then renders the native content on the client side. Graphics commands or content are sent between the host and the client, and the client is rendering and the display of the content. With video overlays use then... think of it as your weather man standing in front of a green screen.

He has pro on and con everyone.

ROR requires customer support capacity, has CODECS on the client. It also requires that the drive supports the media type. The advantage is that it requires less host resources, because the client is used. The disadvantages are the limited player support, management more on the client and the limited media are supported.

Made on the host side just works. Any CODEC will work, any player will work and any client can be used. The benefits are, any client can be used, less complexity, media format more broad support, assistance to larger players, less management on the client endpoint. The downside is that it requires more resources on the side of the host which can lead to the consolidation of weak reports how often media is used.

VMware View with PCoIP supports rendering both MMR and accelerate

Customer discovered with PCoIP and RDP for windows supports ROR

Customer discovered with PCoIP and RDP for Linux supports the ROR with RDP and support for ROR with PCoIP is coming

The two clients support rendering with PCoIP host-side. If the right player, media, client and guest OS combination serves ROR is tried in the first place, if this fails host-side rendering is used.

Client PCoIP zero do not support ROR so rendering on the host side is used.

A list of the types of media supported and players are in the view Administrator Guide.
