Purchase of ISO of Windows 7 or 8?

Hi all

I have a Mac laptop without a CD player and I'm trying to find a way to buy Windows 7 or 8 (I actually don't care which). I would need a full installation and would need to download an ISO, so I can install it on a virtual machine.
Can someone point me to a link to purchase a license key and download the ISO or equivalent file? I can't find anywhere in the store...
Thank you
Greg

You would have to be part of the acquisition on a Windows computer running Windows 7 or Vista. This will help you create one. ISO file that you can save on a USB stick and transfer to yoru MacBook:

  • Can I legitimately use a downloaded version of ISO of Windows 7 with my genuine license?

I recently bought a new system with an OEM Windows 7 Professional installed. When the customization I went for a 32-bit version of Windows for compatibility not abreast of the 4 GB limit in 32-bit OSs (it was not mentioned on the website of the vendor and even Windows page Microsoft says that 64 bit systems handle large amounts of memory more efficiently, but it's another criticism).

I contacted since then ask them my 32-bit copy must be replaced by a 64 bits but they say that they don't what I activated my copy and they are not sent a 64-bit install CD even if some manufacturers provide both.

However apparently my OEM license licenses me for installing 32-bit or 64-bit, and I have been informed by the company that I can download legitimately and ISO of Windows 7 Professional 64-bit image, activate it with my genuine license key (32 bit) and be legally permitted to use the software. Apparently their Windows REP told them that they care not whence the media as long as the license is valid (and I believe that the Windows Genuine Advantage software will allow a legal license be purchased from Microsoft to legitimize a non-genuine copy). Is this correct? It is important for me that I license correctly.

I've always found Microsoft Licensing really useful to clarify things for me in the past but I can't find a way to communicate with them about it and Microsoft does not seem to talk to OEM licensees, referring back to their system providers (which, in my case, are not be useful).

Could someone clarify things for me or give me an email address where I could contact Microsoft themselves about this?

If you want to reduce costs now, the best option is to go with the retail upgrade package. If you need not unique features of Windows 7 Professional for example (Domain Join, Remote Desktop, group policy, encryption, network backup), then you could buy a cheaper edition such as Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade.

Keep in mind, but if you decide to transfer the license of Windows 7 Home Premium to another system down the road, this system should run the qualifying operating system, since the OEM license is not transferable.

    Hello

I tried to fix this for hours, I hope someone can help me.

I downloaded the ISO "Win10_1607_English_x64.iso" (4.29 GB) file and with him came a "info.plist" (2 KB), so they are both on my 64 GB USB Drive (format: MS-DOS (FAT32)) called 'WINSTALL '.

I have the ISO on the USB key, and it is selected as the ISO image in Boot Camp. I also have the USB the disk of destination selected, and yet I get this error:

What OSX Version do you have? This site gives the requirements of Bootcamp: minimum system requirements to install Windows on your Mac with Boot Camp - Apple Support. And you did an upgrade? Could it be that the upgrade will not correctly for the OS?

Looking at the 10 Windows version you downloaded, is the update of birthday, which was released less than a month ago. It could be that Apple is not reconisgin the Windows version when reading the disk, because it is too recent. I don't know if you have access to the download of the previous generation and do a Windows update?

  • Get original iso of Windows 8 free serial key

    Hi all!

I have a problem with my Dell. I tried to install Ubuntu Linux on my laptop and the installer accidentally erased my Windows preinstalled with all my data 8 and so on. Is it possible to download an iso original Windows 8 to burn it to a CD or a bootable USB and install Windows 8? I tried downloading the tool from Microsoft, but I need my serial key, which is hidden somewhere in my UEFI/BIOS. Maybe Dell can send me some iso or the link to download? Someone had a similar problem?

    Thank you, Peter.

Microsoft has updated the Downloader so that it does not require a product key and gives a Windows 8.1 with update 1 that accepts product keys Windows 8.0 and 8.1 for installation both retail and OEM. It now allows choice of architecture, language and version. See here for more details:

    http://dellwindowsreinstallationguide.com/download-Microsoft-Windows-and-Office/Download-Microsoft-Windows/

The downloader requires a launch Windows operating system it's a .exe then its best to use a Windows based computer. If this isn't the case, you must download Windows 7 and install without a VirtualBox/VMWare Player product key, and then use it to download Windows 8.1. It's easier to just use another computer.

  • Is my Windows my product key license? Also, if I want to download the iso of Windows 7 yes I need to buy a license/product key of Windows 7?

Is my Windows my product key license? Also, if I want to download the iso of Windows 7 yes I need to buy a license/product key of Windows 7? Or my Windows 10 will work?

Your license is the product key.

You don't need to buy a license if you already have a product key.

Step 1: Download a copy of Windows 7:

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:

How to: What are my options for Windows 7 reinstall media?

Make sure you scroll down and read the section:

What to do if you cannot get your manufacturer recovery media, refuse to use or to buy it or the Microsoft Software Recovery Website does not work?

  • Problems Burning ISO image Windows 10 on my new laptop to use on an old.

I'm burning my copy of the image ISO of the download of MS windows 10 earlier today.  I stored the files windows 10 initially on USB.  then I used the tool to create a dvd disc for installation later on my HP 15 currently running windows 8.1.  I have no reason to upgrade now on my HP machine because I finally got past this huge problem I had with the update of security very great for 8.1 - or at least for the moment I have.  But I think that I need the image Iso to recover my Dell Inspiron 14 crashed, which has windows 7 Home premium and a pretty big OS problem that I have any solution online, I can find with no real possibility to recover.  I managed to start in safe mode, but there are nomore rstor oingts and checking disk Startup Repair is unable to complete or correct the errors.  That's why I put it through a factory restore/reset and I sat it here now in the living room, on the screen of advanced recovery and I thought that the next step is to change windows 10 and use the image recorder to make the ISO boot dell image and install the windows 10.  But now my HP with 8.1 gives me an error message saying: he can't burn the image to the blank DVD R I put in to burn the image on.  the error code is Ox8007045d.  I have two questions... first how to solve this error and the second will be this plan I have to get my other computer running work?

To fix a specific version of Windows, you must have the disk of resettlement for this particular version. A disc of Windows 10 cannot repair Windows 7 or Windows 8.1

It is possible that you have downloaded a corrupted copy of Windows 10. I suggest that you try to download the. ISO using the tool of creation of media:
