  I'm having a problem after you create a page to update in the OPS.  The page works that when I select update, batch processing in my OE.  The problem with this is that my page uses a column type of the BLOB that gray on the possibility of using batch update.  I have tried everything I can think as well as on all possible subjects of research on the internet for this problem.  Can't seem to understand.  It has become very frustrating as to why I can only update the table by selecting the batch update.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

  I solved this problem.  The reason why I was getting stale data error was due to a custom table that get damaged when adding primary key through SQL Developer rather than do this coding, I created.  After that I recreated the stale data error table stopped display.  Hope this helps people in the future.  Remember to encode the creation of the table instead of creating through SQL Developer.

  I have R12.1.3. I want to program 'Purge the Signon check data' to run once a month. Purge the Signon audit data the default date that is displayed is the current date. but I want to replace it with the current date less than 2 months. It's easy to do that when I run it manually, but in the planning of it, the only option I can think replaces the value set FND_STANDARD_DATE with custom value defined in the parameter check date. Is there a way to better/more easy to change the default date to the date of the day less than 2 months?

  Plan the query to run once per month (re-run each month) from two months ago and activate "not date setting each run.

  If your query contains date parameters, you can select ' Increment date settings each run "so that the value for this parameter is necessary to adapt the new submission interval. For example, if the value of the parameter is 25 July 1997 07:00 and your interval is monthly, is set to August 25, 1997 07:00 for the next presentation.

• Request simultaneous purge or data manager

  I have a question about this program.
  EBS r12 12.1.3 db OUL5x64 11 GR 2
  We have set age = 30 for this program 'purge the concomitant application and/or Manager Data' and it works all the time, but the table
  FND_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS always grow big (70 MB). the recommendation is to keep it under 50K means that I must reduce the parameter of age for this program in (age = 10)
  so the question is:
  What is the recommendation to keep this small FND_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS table and user still able to retrieve the information of up to 30 days.

  the idea is to have a record of database for users can go back and check their data or reports.

  You can take a backup of this table before you run the simultaneous purge of the program, simply create a new table in the same schema (FND_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS_BKUP). Don't forget to backup the files of applications simultaneous/output of the newspaper under $APPLCSF / $APPLOUT and $APPLCSF / $APPLLOG directories.

  If execution of the simultaneous program with the age = 30 does not reduce the number of records less than 50 K, then I believe that you can live with that (as long as the number of records is not very high, and performance are acceptable).

  We have some composites that have State 9.

  How can I find out why these stale instances cannot be purged?

  The current purge scripts handle only purging the State of 'Done' bodies and if you should remove other States as well, so you will need to modify the scripts to purge. State = 9 means that the instances are "closed/fade" and this is the reason why they are more and more? Modify the scripts to purge to include the State to purge these bodies are probably running with older versions of code.

  There is no direct way and/or support to delete old data. However, you can consult the following notes to clean your instance Oracle Apps redundant files and purge the database that is no longer necessary (and can be purged).

• List of projects presents projects deleted in BI (report P6)

  I developed an application in BI for a list of the project under a specific EPS of P6, it works, but it also shows the list of the projects that have been there for 3 months but already deleted from the node of the EPS. That is to say I have only one project to P6 under this node EPS but related Bi, it shows the previous updates of 3 months ago.

  Make sure the background tasks are running. Who will clean up obsolete tax data. You can also run clean_px_delete procedure to purge stale data to notification tables.

  I'm running foglight 5.6.3 and uses the embedded mysql database.  Currently, we become low on storage and I want to be able to serve data.  The baseline_profile table has more than 14 million lines.  Is it possible to purge certain data in addition to retention strategies?  Thanks for your suggestions.

  What is your political conservation as default? Is there a purge statement? Is storageconfig.xml the default?

  Check tables that are larger to avoid some known bugs (such as the registry or persistable_config table) - basic lines also accumulate cruft I believe, Dmitri sounds on what exactly I'm sure.

  We want to reduce the size of the DB (file size of data), so that our RMAN backup size will be reduced. So, let's create stored procedures that will purge old data in huge tables.

  After you remove records, we will decrease the tables using the:

  change the movement line of table ITEM_MASTER enable;

  change the waterfall table retractable ITEM_MASTER space;

  ALTER table ITEM_MASTER deallocate unused;

  The commands above will reduce the file size of data (see dba_Data_files.bytes) or it will reduce the size of the segment?

  Only the segment formats will be reduced.  Oracle has never reduced the sizes of data file automatically.  You would have to reduce them.  You may not be able to reduce the size of data file if there are extensions to the 'end' (highwatermark) data files.  In this case, you will need to create a new tablespace and move all the objects for the new tablespace OR export, drop, create tablespace and import.

• Purge the database postgres VCSA 5.5 data (tables vpx_event &amp; vpx_event_arg)?

  Someone at - it instructions for the removal of the entries in the vpx_event & vpx_event_arg for the postgres database tables in VCSA 5.5? Due to a bad person designed the monitoring scripts, we have 18 million rows in the vpx_event_arg table and looks like it is the root cause of our recent problems with the VCSA.

  I see several KB articles on how to purge the data from MS SQL Server, but not instructions for Postgres.  So the same manully kickoff roll-up scripts. I've updated the retention policy of database from 180 to 90 days, but there is still 18 M records in the table. Cannot find how to manually start the rolling script for postgres.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  Could not find a clean way to purge the data from the table, so we finished truncating the entire table. I poured both the vpx_event and the tables of vpx_event_arg for archival purposes and then did:

  /opt/VMware/vpostgres/1.0/bin/psql d VCDB vc

  Enter the password

  then:

  TRUNCATE TABLE vpx_event WATERFALL;

  It takes only a minute and of course we were back in business and the performance was back to normal.
