Audit purge signon data scheduling

Hi all

I have R12.1.3. I want to program 'Purge the Signon check data' to run once a month. Purge the Signon audit data the default date that is displayed is the current date. but I want to replace it with the current date less than 2 months. It's easy to do that when I run it manually, but in the planning of it, the only option I can think replaces the value set FND_STANDARD_DATE with custom value defined in the parameter check date. Is there a way to better/more easy to change the default date to the date of the day less than 2 months?

Thank you

Plan the query to run once per month (re-run each month) from two months ago and activate "not date setting each run.

If your query contains date parameters, you can select ' Increment date settings each run "so that the value for this parameter is necessary to adapt the new submission interval. For example, if the value of the parameter is 25 July 1997 07:00 and your interval is monthly, is set to August 25, 1997 07:00 for the next presentation.

  • Configuration of the audit trail of data

    Hello

    I am brand new with Hyperion Planning/Essbase and I'm trying to implement an audit trail of data. I already turned on the audit data in the workspace-> Navigate-> Applications-> planning-> DBName-> Administration-> Application reports. I also downloaded SQLDeveloper in my laptop and have it operational. However, I can not understand how to connect with Hyperion Planning/Essbase. Is there documentation on how to setup the connection? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    If you go into the administration of planning and change the data source for your application, then it should provide all the connection information.
    In SQLdeveloper add a new connection and enter the details of the data source to connect to the schema and expand tables and view or query the data in HSP_AUDIT_RECORDS

  • Request simultaneous purge or data manager

    Hi all

    I have a question about this program.
    EBS r12 12.1.3 db OUL5x64 11 GR 2
    We have set age = 30 for this program 'purge the concomitant application and/or Manager Data' and it works all the time, but the table
    FND_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS always grow big (70 MB). the recommendation is to keep it under 50K means that I must reduce the parameter of age for this program in (age = 10)
    so the question is:
    What is the recommendation to keep this small FND_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS table and user still able to retrieve the information of up to 30 days.

    Thanks in advance.
    Kind regards

    the idea is to have a record of database for users can go back and check their data or reports.
    I can set the age = 10 to maintain the system smoothly and meet the recommendation for the size of the FND_CONCURRENT_REQUEST table<>

    by setting the age = 30 on my system, this FND_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS table size = 70 MB
    I know that it depends on the policy of each company.
    can you let me know how to deal with the FND_CONCURRENT_REQUEST recommendation< 50k="" or="" your="" company="" does="" not="" care="" to="" keep="" a="">
    history of FND_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS.

    You can take a backup of this table before you run the simultaneous purge of the program, simply create a new table in the same schema (FND_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS_BKUP). Don't forget to backup the files of applications simultaneous/output of the newspaper under $APPLCSF / $APPLOUT and $APPLCSF / $APPLLOG directories.

    If execution of the simultaneous program with the age = 30 does not reduce the number of records less than 50 K, then I believe that you can live with that (as long as the number of records is not very high, and performance are acceptable).

    Thank you

  • Purge the Job SCHEDULER$ _EVENT_LOG Tables

    Hi Experts

    Please I need your help with this issue:

    Oracle Rac two nodes 11 GR 2

    I have a Rac database somehow work tables: PLANNER$ _EVENT_LOG and PLANNER$ _JOB_RUN_DETAILS grow a lot.

    When I run a query to view details MyJob, this query takes a long time to complete, due to the size of these tables, the automatic purge period a few hours to complete and it s not purge.

    Now, I want to serve these tables and I ve done this:

    run DBMS_SCHEDULER. SET_SCHEDULER_ATTRIBUTE('log_history','1');

    BEGIN

    () DBMS_SCHEDULER.purge_log

    log_history = > 1,

    which_log = > 'JOB_LOG ',.

    job_name = > 'MYJOB');

    END;

    /

    BEGIN

    () DBMS_SCHEDULER.purge_log

    log_history = > 1,

    which_log = > 'WINDOW_LOG ',.

    job_name = > 'MYJOB');

    END;

    /

    BEGIN

    DBMS_SCHEDULER. PURGE_LOG (log_history = > 1, which_log = > 'JOB_LOG');

    END;

    /

    I am not able to serve these tables. We run chain job every night.

    Any advice will be appreciated

    Concerning

    JUDGE

    I fix the problem

    It seems that the problem was the use of string information:

    DOC - ID 749440.1

    Rows in the table of newspaper work on the steps of a string are purged only when the entry for the work of the main chain is purged (manually or automatically).

    Action:

    Stop the task of the main chain

    After that I was able to empty tables to work with DBMS_SCHEDULER.purge_log (no line on the tables), but the space used for each table was the same and requests delay again a lot of time.

    So after that, I ran a Truncate on each table (PLANNER$ _EVENT_LOG and PLANNER$ _JOB_RUN_DETAILS), now everything seems fine. I get a lot of space and queries are fast.

    Thank you for your time

  • Data Scheduler display disc drive letter

    Critical how must be the drive letter data disc for Office VM model?  The call of the documentation on the configuration of the data disk to be 'E '.  But when I configure this model with a view (or even a simple test clone), the player will eventually be "D".  It would be a potential problem for AutoIT scripts?

    The drive letter is only a problem during the installation. During the installation steps, all the data files in the directory "inputs" of the Office package copied the disk of data with the letter 'E '. If the E: drive does exist in the captain VM (instead, it is "D"), then you can just manually copy all the files entry for the directory "D:". I hope this helps.

    Try something like this

    foreach($ds in (Get-Datastore | where {$_.Type -eq "NFS"})){    $ds.ExtensionData.Host |     Select @{N="DS";E={$ds.Name}},      @{N="RemoteHost";E={$ds.RemoteHost}},      @{N="RemotePath";E={$ds.RemotePath}},      @{N="ESXi";E={Get-view $_.Key -Property Name | Select -ExpandProperty Name}},      @{N="AccessMode";E={$_.MountInfo.AccessMode}}}

  • Analyzes operational Audit, data verification and historical process of flow

    Hello

    Internal Audit Department asked a bunch of information, we need to compile from newspaper Audit task, data verification and process Flow history. We have all the information available, but not in a format that allows to correct "reporting" the log information. What is the best way to manage the HFM logs so that we can quickly filter and export the verification information required?

    We have housekeeping in place, newspapers are 'live' partial db tables and partial purged tables which have been exported to Excel to archive historical newspaper information.

    Thank you very much.

    I thought I posted this Friday, but I just noticed that I never hit the "Post Message" button, ha ha.

    This info below will help you translate some information in tables, etc.. You may realize in tables audit directly or move them to another array of appropriate data for analysis later. The consensus, even if I disagree, is that you will suffer from performance issues if your audit tables become too big, if you want to move them periodically. You can do it using a manual process of scheduled task, etc.

    I personally just throw in another table and report on it here. As mentioned above, you will need to translate some information as it is not "readable" in the database.

    For example, if I wanted to pull the load of metadata, rules of loading, loading list of members, you can run a query like this. (NOTE: strAppName must be the name of your application...)

    The main tricks to know at least for checking table tasks are finding how convert hours and determine what activity code matches the friendly name.

    -- Declare working variables --
    declare @dtStartDate as nvarchar(20)
    declare @dtEndDate as nvarchar(20)
    declare @strAppName as nvarchar(20)
    declare @strSQL as nvarchar(4000)
    -- Initialize working variables --
    set @dtStartDate = '1/1/2012'
    set @dtEndDate = '8/31/2012'
    set @strAppName = 'YourAppNameHere'

    --Get Rules Load, Metadata, Member List
    set @strSQL = '
    select sUserName as "User", ''Rules Load'' as Activity, cast(StartTime-2 as smalldatetime) as "Time Start",
          cast(EndTime-2 as smalldatetime) as ''Time End'', ServerName, strDescription, strModuleName
       from ' + @strAppName + '_task_audit ta, hsv_activity_users au
       where au.lUserID = ta.ActivityUserID and activitycode in (1)
            and cast(StartTime-2 as smalldatetime) between ''' + @dtStartDate + ''' and ''' + @dtEndDate + '''
    union all
    select sUserName as "User", ''Metadata Load'' as Activity, cast(StartTime-2 as smalldatetime) as "Time Start",
          cast(EndTime-2 as smalldatetime) as ''Time End'', ServerName, strDescription, strModuleName
       from ' + @strAppName + '_task_audit ta, hsv_activity_users au
       where au.lUserID = ta.ActivityUserID and activitycode in (21)
            and cast(StartTime-2 as smalldatetime) between ''' + @dtStartDate + ''' and ''' + @dtEndDate + '''
    union all
    select sUserName as "User", ''Memberlist Load'' as Activity, cast(StartTime-2 as smalldatetime) as "Time Start",
          cast(EndTime-2 as smalldatetime) as ''Time End'', ServerName, strDescription, strModuleName
       from ' + @strAppName + '_task_audit ta, hsv_activity_users au
       where au.lUserID = ta.ActivityUserID and activitycode in (23)
            and cast(StartTime-2 as smalldatetime) between ''' + @dtStartDate + ''' and ''' + @dtEndDate + ''''

    exec sp_executesql @strSQL

  • 11 GR 2: periodically purge the question of audit trail

    Hello

    I have a question about automatic and periodically audit trail is serving to 11g.

    I went through the docs and went ahead scheduling periodic purge of my audit trail based on archive timestamp.

    Here are the steps I did:

    (1) run dbms_audit_mgmt.init_cleanup
    (2) run dbms_audit_mgmt.set_last_archive_timestamp as follows:
    SQL>begin
     2  dbms_audit_mgmt.set_last_archive_timestamp(
     3  audit_trail_type => DBMS_AUDIT_MGMT.AUDIT_TRAIL_AUD_STD,
     4  last_archive_time => SYSTIMESTAMP-365);
     5  end;
     6  /
    (3) created a purge with dbms_audit_mgmt.create_purge_job job that uses the timestamp of set_last_archive_timestamp

    That went well, and the first work of purge delete all records of 365 days. But I expect I would be the timestamp increment any, so that the recurring task always deletes records older than systimestamp-365.
    But this does not happen and the initial date of SYSTIMESTAMP-365 remains on the original date.
    Am I supposed to run dbms_audit_mgmt.set_last_archive_timestamp every time before work to purge itself?

    Thanks a lot for any advice / experience on this. :)

    Hi AJ,.
    set_last_archive_timestamp is considered to be the last stage of the audit manual archiving data. Doc States:

    This procedure sets a timestamp that indicates when the audit records were finally archived. The Director of audit provides the time stamp to affix the audit records. The CLEAN_AUDIT_TRAIL procedure uses this timestamp to decide on audit records should be deleted.

    So you have to run set_last_archive_timestamp on a regular basis and thus confirm the audit data archiving.

    CREATE_PURGE_JOB calls CLEAN_AUDIT_TRAIL which checks archive timestamp of last call of set_last_archive_timestamp.

    In short, yes call set_last_archive_timestamp each time before purge jobs runs or working purge purge more recent verification of data.
