  I work with ADF 11 g with Trinidad. I have a (jspx) page with editable table (Table of Trinidad) with text and the number of columns.
  Currently, all values are aligned to the left, but I want to number fields to align to the right.
  For example, employee name inputText should align to the left, and the salary should align to the right.

  Jim, what is tr:inputText has a contentStyle property?
  If so, you can try toput

  text-align: left;

  in the property ContentStyle of the inputText component.

  You want to right align text in the entry or popup field?

  For the input field, you can probably set property mentioned in my previous answer.

  If you want to format the data in the popup, you should probably create a custom content, like this: ADF practice: building custom LOV with searchContent facet

  I have an af:inputText inside a panelFormLayout. I want the inputText propped right and so I added this tag:

  When I do the inputText readOnly = "true" then the contentStyle is ignored and the text is left-aligned.

  If I use the "disabled" instead of readyOnly property, the issue is resolved, but I can't use actually "disabled" property because the field must be able to recalculate from changes in other areas.

  I read this right align text problems , but still I can not know what to do.

  Any help is welcome!

  Re-calculation / ppr has nothing to do with real estate handicapped. The field will be get updated automatically (even when it's read-only / disabled), when the partialTriggers are added correctly.

  I have the same exact problem as this thread.

  The solution is change option East Asia and rearmament of the preferences, but mine is still typing horizontally at a 90 degree angle. Anyone know of any other way?

  Have you tried to reset the text tool and reset the characters available in ground #1.

  So in my document, I load all the text fields roughly the same name than just with slight variations in their name.

  For example:

  FldTxt

  FldTxt1

  P1. TemplateName.FldTxt

  ... Etc.

  The way this works is that each individual text box represents a parameter for a single element, so in this case there are 4 products.

  Is the way in which these parameters are selected, the user presses a button that generates a copy of a template page.

  On this page are a group of checkboxes, buttons and drop-down lists, these particular text fields display the value of a drop-down list.

  This is so that when the user has finished with the generated page, it can be removed and all the information is stored on the main page for later in the process.

  Because of how the elements of work means that fields can either displays a 'None selected' or option selected, BUT they cannot stand by the option that was selected.

  For example;

  FldTxt "none".

  FldTxt1 "selected Option2.

  P1. TemplateName.FldTxt "selected Option2.

  P1. TemplateName.FldTxt 'None Selected '.

  I hope this explains the theory behind it.

  So I wonder is what I could put these text fields values by searching for a keyword in their name? For example. If the field has "FldTxt" in its name, and its value is not equal to "None Selected", change its value to the value of the drop-down list of the most recent.

  The reason why I want to do it in this way is because there is no predefined number of these text fields, there might be only 2 or 200 because it depends on the number of items in the form.

  So I imagine it would go something like this;

  I try to get the sum of the fields based on the value of a checkbox control. The if statement seems to work because the result does not change, but instead of adding up the results, it adds the numbers. Example: chk == 1, so add 5 + 0 + 0 + 2 + 1 and 8 display. But instead, it displays for event.value 521. All fields which events are digital with 0 decimal. What happens here? I expect that if they were formatted text fields, but they are not.

  You must explicitly convert the value of each field of a number. As an empty field values is a string type, the + operator gives you string concatenation instead of adding digital. You can review the first four lines of the script to:

  ABI = var + this.getField ("DEXM") .value;

  jib var = + this.getField ("acrofocus") .value;

  Misc = var + this.getField ("acromisc") .value;

  var = LVL + this.getField ("LVL") .value;

  and it should work properly.

• How can I keep right-aligned to left and paragraphs together on the same line?

  I am currently composing a menu. Basically, I want the title of dish to be aligned to the left and aligned price right, but on the same line. I can achieve the effect by typing in a shift + tab after the text of the title of the dish and then insert the price, but I'd rather have two styles of separate paragraphs, so that I can adjust the world to see what looks good. can I get the effect by adjusting the character of price from the price database and move it to the top, but then if I need to make changes in price, I find it a pain when trying to get the cursor in the right place in situations where a base line is significantly changed.

  Back in time (to Ventura!), I could just remove the line break after the style 'Dish title' and the 'price' would be upwards to the same line, but I can't seem to be able to do this to the CS6.

  Any ideas?

  You can use a table, but I think that a single paragraph with a character style nested to manage the different formatting for the price is more flexible.

• Calculates the treatment field values 1 step behind

  I have a very long form created in Acrobat Pro (latest version).

  To simplify the problem, this is what is happening.

  I have text boxes on a form and the user will enter quantity and price in each row for the materials and form will calculate to multiply these values and give you the total for each product and at the end, add all the totals giving you your total final.

  T1 * P1 = T1

  T1 + T2... T40 plus Total cost of material

  Which works very well.

  I then the user enter the estimate and below this breakthrough for what is the cost of labour, which is the cost of equipment, which is taxes, and then the rest is profit. The cost of the equipment is simply copied to the Total cost of the above materials.

  However, the calculation is made to simply take so I need percentages thus:

  The total cost of materials / estimate = percentage

  This grave 1 step walk behind. As in, it has not calculated the first go-around. You must enter a value elsewhere on the form or if I generate a button "Calculate" it will then deal with it. It's like if we take the old value before the field has been dynamically updated.

  Below on the left turns is the estimate that you need to enter. In doing so, you will see the % for material cost and profit are bad, if you change a value anywhere on the form, you will see that they are then the value that was already there.

  I hope that makes sense for a person, the calculated values are 1 step behind and I need to understand why and get that fixed.

  Also, if I do these fields % under the shape number and 2 decimal places, I get an avalanche of mistakes whenever I enter a new value somewhere on the form I think because he's trying to divide by a number of vacuum which get a NaN error and gives me a pop up that it does not match the required format. How can I disable this error? I need to limit it to 2 decimal places, or 3 actually, but don't have a ton of errors popup whenever the user starts to fill the form.

  It's a problem of calculation of classic field command. You need to go to Tools - Forms - change - other tasks - defined field calculation order and whole list in the order in which calculations occur. So if a field is dependent on the value of the field B, then it must be lower than him in the list.
