  I don't think there is a way to control that. Your best chance is to use the form wish and suggest an opton to disable. Maybe you will see then it emerges in Captivate 6.

  You add those by going to tools - JavaScript - Document JavaScripts. Create

  a new item (call it "scripts", let's say), then remove the default function

  definition of who is there and paste your code instead.

  This code will be executed whenever the file is opened.

  Simply change the names of the fields to your form.

  You can use a regular expression with the "words" individual who is returned by JavaScript.

  Suggestion of Leonard, in Acrobat 10 select: Tools > Protection > Search & delete text (sorry, I don't know what it would be in Russian)

  You can do this by using the way I described.

  1. I'm not sure how to set up this script, because I'm very inexperienced in terms of coding.

  Each radio button has specific text areas to be filled according to the selection of the radio button.

  'Radio Button1' has 4 values/selection (1, 2, 3 and 4).

  Note: Option 4 has 3 separate text boxes must be filled (proposal4, Text5 and Text6).

  For the example given and newness to the coding, you might try to display / hide the fields instead of scripts. An example is attached.

  Discover the activities of each of the radio buttons. Basically, for each choice of radio, corresponding text fields will be displayed or hidden. (The default property for each text field is hidden.) Each choice will remove the text field data previous choice via a form of reset action applied to these fields.

• Button to display invisible text captions

  Hi all!

  I'm sure there is a simple answer to my question, but since I have been looking and try things for a few days I thought going up the white flag and ask for help. I am a new user of Captivate 5.5 and advanced options, but I think I have a basic gist - just enough to get me in trouble.  So what I'm trying to accomplish:

  I have four text captions on a slide I want to allow the user to make visible by clicking a button. Most likely a transparent button placed on an image, but for now is not serious what the button looks like, just that it works. I put the button that success, it assigns a 1 to a variable named v_click (from lilybiri blog ROCKS!) and she has 5 attempts so that when the last attempt, it passes to the next slide. I wrote my first two advances of actions to check the v_click variable and depends on what this number is, see the corresponding text caption. When I saw the project, the button does nothing and my legends remain invisible. I'm sure I'm missing a step somewhere but I can't seem to get my reflection process on the right track. Ideas or points in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

  I am so sorry and once again on the tablet. You must show 4 text captions, every click must show in the sequence TC1, TC2, TC3, TC4. And to track clicks that we use the user created var v_click. The two actions are done in a single decision. When all the captions are visible and the user again clicks, a button should appear. But not sure sicelle last action is out or with the appearance of the last TC4. Decisions are executed in the order:

  Decision 1

  IF v_click is greater than 4

  THEN see the BtNext

  Decision 2

  IF v_click is equal to 4

  THEN see the TC4

  Expression v_click = v_click + 1

  Decision 3

  IF v_click is equal to 3

• Entrance area of text in Captivate 5.5

  When I put a box of text input in a form to allow users to fill in certain fields, the color of the text "washes out".

  I have my set with black font Verdana text; However, it displays like Verdana with a cast iron grey when the activity is executed.

  I tried to change the name of the font, style, color and size, but it still appears like a washed out gray color.

  Is anyone else having this problem and is at - it someone who may be able to shed light on this issue.

  OK, I've checked everything I can think of and it seems to be in order.

  However I tried another area of text and fonts worked perfectly in it. The only thing I can think is that the program just "threw a wobbly" when I selected the original text box.

  In the future, I will try everything first if something is played upward. Maybe I have hust worked too hard program yesterday

• Text caption transition

  I have a slide with a standalone video (not a video of slide).  I also have a text caption under the video I want to be static text.  But no matter what I do with the properties of the text caption, it fades in and out.  I put it no transition, I tried fading only and by setting the calendar 0... no effect.  I have the text of the legend will play for the duration to one side.  Still no effect.

  Am I missing something really basic here?

  What is the first or the last slide of the file? I ask this because the parameter default start & end of a file is also melted input/output. You can change this in the preferences, project, start & end. I guess you already checked the transition between slides?

  Is it possible to change the legend of default text in a specific font and size.  When I record, it works very well, Captivate keeps my 18-black police.  But when I manually add text captions, the size goes back to another font size of 10.

  Sorry to be a little late, I work with Captivate 5 all the time now, almost forgotten some features in CP4.

  The default layout for the text captions that you chose, is possible for text captions that appear during capture. I think you point to editing, preferences, default record?

  When you manually add text captions, there is not such a value by default (as it is now with the object to CP5 styles) but you can achieve your goal in two ways:

  1. Change the TC first you want, CP has a memory and all following captions that you add will have the same layout. This function even memory when you open a new project, the last remembered formatting will be applied.
  2. If you want to change the layout of all the existing legends (but this does not always work perfectly), try the feature "apply to all".
  3. Create a template with properly formatted text captions and use it for your projects
  4. Apply a design template.

  Hello

  There is no direct way to do it, but you can put a box of click (is invisible) on the top of the text and put the action of success for this click box to open a URL. If you want that text so that the focus in the form of a link, just adapt the formatting (underline, color).
