[Q] fix a cracked screen

Hey guys

My glass before broken and half upper is not respoding to keys

What happens if I buy an OEM lcd + digitizer and take it to the sony service center. Will install it for me and preserve the impermeability of the fabric?

Because I heard that setting a screen cracked at the service center can be very expensive (depends on who you ask)

Thanks for your time

@Flossy_Carter

Alone, your local care of Xperia, can answer this question, most likely, they will ask you to bring your phone so it can be inspected.

  • Satellite A300 speaker questions and cracked screen

I've had my laptop for almost a year and suddenly something has happened to the speakers.

When I listen to music on my laptop there is a separate "fuzzy" behind the sound and also if it does not play music and open media player (ex. itunes) there are weird beeps and a sound that looks like when someone breathes in a micro comes from the speakers.

This came out of nowhere and I was wondering is a necessary replacement speaker or whatever it is and is - it covered by the warranty?

My second question is that I got recently my laptop from my bag to laptop to discover there was a crack in the LCD, and the ink ran in the right corner. I don't know how it happened as it was beautiful when I put it in the laptop bag and he was not being pushed around, just sitting in the backseat of my car?

Is this under warranty or is it possible that I can get a cheap replacement that won't take days to do what I need my laptop for uni!

    Thank you
    Jess

    > When I listen to music on my laptop there is a separate "fuzzy" behind the sound and also if there is no music playing and a media player is opened (e.g. itunes) there are weird beeps and a sound that resembles when someone breathes into a microphone from the speakers.

Have you noticed the same thing using earphones?
You need to connect the headphones, and if the same would be noticeable then it s not pregnant related question

I doubt that this would be covered by the warranty because such crack screen may not appear without any pressure. That is why I think that this would be covered by the warranty.
In any case, you could ask your local ASP on details and reviews.

  • Satellite A100-405: black cracked screen

    Hello world

I have problem with my laptop its TOSHIBA SATELLITE A100-405 and 2 year old so no warranty now.

Just before 2 weeks his fall and lcd cracked, but even after cracking at least I was using it normally without replacement and wished to replaced soon but yesterday when I uninstalled the sound toshiba virtual (because it still looks like echo) suddenly collapsed knees work once uninstalled this virtual sound.

I have to press power button to the market, but even after its on, I see on the screen.
I tried to put the recovery disk, but after that, I don't see anything on the screen.

Can you help me please what that is the problem, it is because of this cracked screen or uninstalled virtual sound.
I hope that someone will help me solve this issue.

    Thank you.

    Hello

I doubt that an uninstall of the virtual sound would lead this display problem
I m sure that this display problem appears because the laptop has dropped down in the past

I think you should contact an ASP in your country for a LCD test and perhaps you will need a new.

  • Cracked screen NetBook. The health risks?

My netbook has dropped and the screen cracked. Everything still works fine, but I am a little concered. Are there risks to health with a cracked LCD LED? I should have repaired/get rid of it immediately or it is safe to keep around for now?

All information on this is greatly appreciated.

The LCD is not something that should be eaten, but is close to the cracked screen and should not pose a risk to health.  It should be repaired as soon as possible if you are worried about it.

We suggest to contact technical support in your region for further assistance in this matter.

    Hi @jdr1984 ,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems with the help of the community!

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion Notebook dv4-2162nr and concerns with the installation of a new screen. You don't have to put in the parts that are compatible with your system. Here is a link for your replacement options page 4-27.

Some have different options such as transceivers, cables, webcam, microphone and antenna WLAN.

You don't have to order the part from HP, but it must be compatible with your laptop.

    Thank you.

    Hello

Try a new installation of the plugin flash/ActiveX as follows.

First, download the Flash uninstall utility on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    Flash Player Uninstaller.

Once the download is complete, close all the browser windows, open your downloads folder and run the program uninstaller.  After this has completed, restart the laptop.

When windows has reloaded, download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash. Note: You can deselect the option to include McAfee Security Scan Plus before downloading.

When the installation is complete, restart the laptop.

    ***************************************************************************

If the above is not correct the problem, try the following.

First of all, download and run the uninstall program of Shockwave on the link below.

    http://fpdownload.Macromedia.com/Get/Shockwave/Uninstall/Win/sw_uninstaller.exe

After this has completed, restart the laptop.

When windows has completely recharged, download and install the latest version of Shockwave on the following link.

Once again, after the installation, restart the laptop.

My laptop started throwing up blue screens of death at random, usually after a minute or so, I have not installed new hardware or software recently, but I accidentally download a virus of frostwire (I know, dumb huh?), that's the problem (at least I think in any case) as what all started after I downloaded it. Here are a few ways to possibly fix the blue screen issue. If you could give the info to blue screen
This would help. Such as ITC and 4 others entered at the bottom left. And another error

  • Cracked screen

    Hello guys!

I use a 6 s iPhone for almost a year. Recently my cousin threw to the ground violently. I picked up and saw that the screen was cracked badly. There was a hole in the side at the bottom right, I could easily see the material of the speaker.

First of all, on the first day, speaker, touch, touch id worked. Second day, touch has not worked, but the calls came. due to the touch, I couldn't answer.

Second, on the third day, the calls came but were not sounds. vibration worked. but I felt that he had become slow to unlock and lock. sounds came later.

Now, I want to correct. I saw in the apple website which display could be repaired. I guess that there are a lot more problems and cracks on the inside. Besides I don't have an Apple store in my country Bangladesh, South Asia. All I have is some authorized stores.

I don't know if it will be fixed or not. Please tell me the cost and how to fix it. I don't have AppleCare.

  • Mac Book Pro cracked screen inside, no damage to the outside

    Hello

I woke up this morning with mac book open and off. I have seen that my screen was quite dirty and decided I have to clean fingerprints on it. I used a Clorox and a paper towel to clean. Once I finished I turned an and saw my screen cracked. When I rubbed my finger on the screen it there's no indication on the front or the back of the screen he was hit there. It is only within the screen. I took it to apple and they said it was an accident, when I washed only the screen, as I did with several Mac Book Pro, I bought in the past. I have Applecare, but he does not apparently. No where else on my mac does show that I have damage and I did a diagnosis, and there is nothing else wrong with my system. They said that I am $ 800 and it's just scandalous due to a stream for the super screen thin on the inside. I don't know where to go from here, but I've used Apple products in my life and being a college student, I don't have that kind of money to fix. This problem should of never happened. I do all my graphics and coding on my Mac and have always loved. I also have a case of black Tech21 surrounding for added protection so something like this has not happened. Please if there is any help I can get here, it would be highly appreciated.

    Benjamin Schmidt

Make your case to a store manager, but it is difficult to claim "just happened by itself." Be nice to the staff of the store, you are basically arguing for special treatment.

It does not mean you did anything on purpose, but the MacBook was responsible, if you are responsible for. The cause could be anything from a drop of abrupt changes in temperature. Who knows...

    Good luck!
