  2 months ago, the computer screen got a very small crack near the left upper bezel and it did not affect to the laptop, I mean that the screen of the laptop still works. And a month ago the laptop suffered 90 b fan error so I had to take it to HP Service Center to replace the fan and they did.

  They said I need to replace the screen in the given period of 1 year warranty HP India or otherwise they will not replace the screen during the extended warranty period and also said thay would replace it for free.

  Only 45 days are still for the 1 year warranty to expire. I will ask to replace the screen? Replaced screen will be produced original HP? How long they take to a maintenance operation?

  I put t really know why this happens, but on my Satellite U400 I couldn t notice such a problem. I have a year now and it works perfectly and the case doesn't have a crack or something.

  In my opinion, you should contact an authorized service provider. Guys can order a new replacement part and swap it for you! :)

  My second question is that I got recently my laptop from my bag to laptop to discover there was a crack in the LCD, and the ink ran in the right corner. I don't know how it happened as it was beautiful when I put it in the laptop bag and he was not being pushed around, just sitting in the backseat of my car?

  Is this under warranty or is it possible that I can get a cheap replacement that won't take days to do what I need my laptop for uni!

  You need to connect the headphones, and if the same would be noticeable then it s not pregnant related question

  I doubt that this would be covered by the warranty because such crack screen may not appear without any pressure. That is why I think that this would be covered by the warranty.

  I just noticed yesterday that my screen looks a bit above. It is not outside the screen, but when I use a torch I can see when the screen is off.

  Before answer you, can you please help me with something.
  You use your laptop while he traveled a lot? You use it on your bed? Do you use it in a room with, lets say, a large rug or something of the sort? Things like these could get behind the screen by the edges of the screen, I guess, I have a few particles of dust inside my screen because im always traveling etc. They are not a big problem for me, but I'm sure you can get your screen cleaned under warranty.

When the left laptop was in perfect condition and not a top scratch. having paid £1,500 for it I was very careful to keep safe. When I contacted Toshiba to confirm that it had arrived safely, they said that it had happened, and the repair team had begun to look at this day. 4 to 5 days later, I checked the status of service online, and he said required information. So I rang the customer service and they said that there was nothing on the notes and all well aseemed. 2 days after (today) I get a phone call saying that they found no problem with the hardware with the fingerprint reader, but they found a problem with the screen. After hold that they say that they have noticed a crack in the screen and have a prize of £500 for me to get it fixed. OMG! I told them that there are no cracks/scratches or anhthing when he left via UPS (their courior). I was asked if I had checked that UPS box and pacakaged it safely in front of me. They then say that they will contact me in 48 hours but the team repair always photograph the machines when they come in and say now it was cracked since the beginning. They sent me an email of the photo and there is massive cracks curved towards the bottom of the right side of the screen! Even then, they had the nerve to ask if I'd like to send them the quote so I said no cos I wouldn't pay for the repair of it.

  So what's with that position? Are they not corrected the original sin is the courior sent by Toshiba or Toshiba repairs broke the screen. I have no evidence that it wasn't like that before. I don't understand why Toshiba didn't ring the day they received, if there was a crack whethey opened the package? They would surely do this before even touching anything else. I think that the repair team broke and said it was like this before

  What should I do? I can't afford to pay for the repairs and even if I could I don't see why I should!

  Yes! You will most likely have to screenshot data then hang your iPhone (including the charger) in your USB port in your computer. After that, you load your screen capture on your computer. Copy and paste into Microsoft word on your computer/laptop and then print! Then you have your printed data.

  I have problem with my laptop its TOSHIBA SATELLITE A100-405 and 2 year old so no warranty now.

• S10 - 3T cracked screen apparently caused by heat

  People I just got my new IdeaPad Thursday, March 17 during installation the software TrueCrypt, which takes days to encrypt the hard drive, I left it is plugged in and running on my desktop all night. To my dismay, on Sunday, three cracks were on the LCD screen. I called today and created the WN325578 incident. I must say after an hour of running around, it's the worst customer service I've ever had. Tonight doing some work, given that the cracks were small enough not to be a major disruption, I was doing some messengering. In doing so, my battery has dropped below 20% so I plugged in and put it in tablet mode. While sitting on the table beside me, I watched the a triple size crack. I then noticed that the heat vent was lower where the cracks appeared. I agree with the technology that was on the phone with me, I've never seen a LCD crack no reason (and I've been in the industry for 23 years computer security, feel free to Google me.) It is a heat related issue, and I don't see why I should pay for the repair or replacement, as I used it within expected parameters. Could someone please this climb to the top of the chain of command for a quick resolution, and if all goes well (for you) prevent a reminder.
