Hi, I have read several posts on Q10 battery issues, I did my Q10 yesterday and like him that I noticed that after charging the battery it randomly discharges itself at 0% - 10% smetimes the phone turns off by itself, sometimes it stays on, I did some of the tips I've seen on other forums such as for example the removal of android apps like ebay and DURATION airplance mode for 10 minutes , the problem always seems to be there... it's very irritating and I saw swipched of shit Iphone I expeted better... Please HELP!

BUMP! Of course, I'm not worth a response

Of course you are! I replied there is a little more than 24 hours, do scroll up!

Then you said that you had a new battery to come... he had no answer to WHAT you had this new battery some time.

I see you started using the "out of the box" battery 75% or more.

So now, battery full, 100%.

See how it goes. And after return in 3-4 days AFTER you have had time for the load/running the battery to normalize. A few hours or half a day will not tell you anything.

Hi, I have a problem with my BB Q10. When someone calls me and the phone is locked, not sound, simply create a beep and then just shows me who is calling me. And if is not locked (if I'm working on it, or send SMS playind or anything else on this subject) is normal ringer. Please help me, all notifications is turned on, the sound is on... Its irritating because I missed so many calls when I'm on my phone...

If you do a reboot of your machine and then test an incoming call while the device is locked, it works correctly?

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

  • BlackBerry battery problem new Z10 Z10

    Hi all

I bought a new Z10 BB a month back & last few days her having problems with the battery, if I load the full bttry after 30 min it start showing fees battry 0% in RED. But the phone works with all the problems (dnt phone will turn off). When I check the battry health in virtual Blackberry Expert, it shows the battery in RED.

Can someone tell me what to do? Is this a problem with the operating system or the battery it self?

    Thanks in advance.

    Emmanuel.

    Hello

Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must be directly connected to a charger checked (not PC USB, not a docking station):

    1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
    2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
    3. Remove the battery
    4. Wait 15 minutes
    5. Insert the battery
    6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

This has been known to "revive" some BBs. If it fails, increase the waiting time at step 2 upwards to 2 hours and maybe more than 5 hours. This has been known, in some cases, to realign the calibration of the battery with the battery meter.

It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

    1. Get a known good and already fully charged battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
    2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem. Carefully note please that 'new' and 'know' are not necessarily the same things. Although rare, a 'new' battery could certainly be defective. On the contrary, the easiest (and cheapest, btw) method to perform this test is to find someone with an identical BB which has no problem... trade in batteries and see what happens.

Good luck and let us know!

  • Charger nine q10 Q10 blackBerry battery

Hey, just bought a new... plugged into charge q10, about 8 hours later was still blinking yellow led light. had to switch it off as travelling for a few days and did not keep the battery charger for 3 days concerned, it could ruin the battery, plugged so once again when I came back and its been on charge of 10hrs and continuous flashing yellow led light.

It does not light up, do not use it... Please explain it is normal

    manalq10,

    95%, 98%, or 100% = basically the same thing.

The percentage of load on the device is ONLY an estimate of your charge battery player software, translated by a number of calculation, including the power history current drain on the battery, charge, etc...

The battery could in fact be 100%.

A friend of mine who developed the application BlackBerry10, BatteryGuru:

    peter9477 wrote:
the percentage is simply an estimate, because it is impossible to say with certainty or simple calculation "full" How is a Lithium battery.

If you're really worried, you could invest in a third-party battery application as the guru of battery (currently on sale for only $0.99) that can show you the voltage and other information as well. On the Z10 voltage must vary to something like 3.3V when she is 'empty' to about 4.3V when it is "full".

If your battery is within a few millivolts of 4.3V when it stops to load, then you can consider it as a load 'full' successfully, regardless of the percentage.

The operating system should be recalibrate over time, so if you ignore this slight apparent discrepancy it will most likely disappear.

  • Q10 blackBerry SMS problem

After upgrading my oS to 10.3.2.440, I couldn't send or receive text messages. Phone and e-mail work fine. Any suggestions? I can't find anything online.

    Thank you.

    Thank you. Ok...

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (step 1 should translate a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'recording' message

    2) restart

    • Pre-BB10 ONLY devices. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • Peripheral BB10. Hold the top button until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the unit to be completely stopped (for example, nothing appears on the screen, no lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red light. Wait through the entire boot process. IF this fails, you can try the method of battery-pull above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you!

If this isn't the case, then you should probably perform a reload of the OS:

Failure help, you should probably try a more energetic reload, or even an update (this method, unlike the prior agreement, is not controlled by your carrier as to what OS version offered you):

Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • Q10 guest - zone problem blackBerry calendar event

    Hi all!

I've just switched back to BlackBerry, iPhone and love everything about it so far except for one thing: calls on the calendar time zone problems.

My work using an OS X hosted the CalDAV server, and I was able to sync my existing calendars to it without problem.

    My timezone: Eastern

    My colleagues timezone: Central

Question: I received an invitation from a colleague, and on my Mac, it shows 13:00 Eastern, as it should.  The invitation has been sent to 12:00 Central.  This same invitation appears on my BlackBerry at 07:00 Eastern.

    Completed test:

I added an invitation on my BlackBerry at 06:00 Eastern as a test and it appeared on my Mac at the right time without problem.

I added an event on another day of my Mac, and it synced to my BlackBerry without problem.

So it seems that my problem is that when the receiver event invites others, possibly in different time zones.

My Mac and BlackBerry are both set to the Eastern time.

My co-workers Mac and iPhone are set to Central time.

I looked at all the parameters BB and can't find anything that would explain this strange behavior.

I tried a battery pull - same results.

I'm on the latest OS available for a Q10: 10.2.1.2976

Can anyone help with this?  I'd hate to go back to iOS for a question like this, however, a precise and reliable timetable is essential for my work.

    Another update:

Only, the lady came back on the line and told me that it is a known problem that is "actively investigated."  When asked how long their ticket has been opened on this subject, I was told since September of 2013...

It seems that there is no resolution for this problem.  I will go back to iOS

  • Awakening Q10 Q10 blackBerry problem

I recently spent Baclberry "BOLD" to Q10, and I have quite a strange thing. Handset screen becomes sleep after 30 seconds, and when I try to access the device again, I have to push the power button on the top to wake up the unit and I need to lock the screen so I have to drag up to unlock the device. An alternative workaround is by pressing one of the following keys for the United Nations; lock screen (w, r, e, s, d, f, v).

Is this a bug or a feature custom made? Why it wouldn't take me to unlock the screen by dragging a time? yesterday I was chatting on BBM and every time (when the unit has been idle for 30 seconds or more) I had to press the power button, and then drag until you get to the application and it drove me crazy. I do not want to increase the screen timeout interval, it would consume more battery unnecessarily.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can depend on phone... cannot turn off phone. Is this a battery problem?

Hi, I was happily using my Blackberry 8310 for the last year and 5 months without problem. In a week or two after I installed the new version of the OS 4.5 there I began to encounter a problem with my phone. He started just shutting down on its own and I was not able to turn it back on without removing the battery. At first, I thought it was the battery... It shows a full battery on the screen but sometimes if I use the web browser the battery life drops lby 25%. I took the battery out and placed in a friend's phone, and his phone has taken forever to initialize. After about 5 minutes his phone in less than a minute his phone is off too. The strange thing is that my battery always shows that it is fully charged. He never done until the Red level until the phone turns off. I also can not turn off the phone once I do started again. So, I went to AT & T, and immediately they told me that I had to buy a new phone... what happened to offer technical support? Anyway, I'm not able to buy a new phone after shelling out $ 250 for this phone and although I wanted to get insurance at the moment where I bought the phone that told me that Blackberry offered insurance more. It's funny enough now, they are. If it's a battery problem I can buy a new battery if anyone has experienced this kind of problem?

I guess, at first thought, that the battery meter in the BlackBerry is off sync to the battery.

See section on charge it fully and to exhaust the battery 3 x now.

If that does not erase a part, I suggest a new battery. The batteries can go wrong with the wire of time, although 5 to 6 months should not be a problem.

  • Smartphones Blackberry Curve 8520 blackBerry battery gets really hot, the battery dies.

I have a blackberry 8520, I've had it for about 2 months now.  My blackberry battery gets really hot for the hour, the battery dies.  This happens randomly.  First time it happened to me I was in a movie theater and had the phone on silent. The second time it happened I he was wearing my belt and got home on fort.  I do not keep applications running and usually only use the phone for txts and emails. My fiancee bought his blackberry curve 8520 the same day and it has the same problem.  My blackberry is updated with the latest version of the software.  Anyone else have this same problem?  Any advice on what could be the problem?  Thank you

Even if you do not, there was probably an application running in the background, even left a current Web browser.

Or, your battery could be bad. It happens. If the problem persists, you can redeem it at your local retailer.

  • iPhone 4 s - battery problem

    Hello

I have an iPhone 4S running iOS 7.1.2 who must break with the battery problem almost entirely.

I don't know if it's a hardware problem, but I hope that it is a software problem so I will try to do everything as my possible to isolate and software problem.

I did a reset on iOS, but it does not solve. The next step should involve a DFU reset using iTunes but it will update my iPhone to iOS 9 and as far as I know it will turn my iPhone unusable.

The other possibility is it back to iOS 6.1.3 but it won't, I must do a restore to iOS 9 which will be a problem.

Yes, is there something I can do without updating to iOS 9?

What makes you think this update to iOS 9 will make useless iPhone?

Hi, my battery LED doesn't turn on when it is plugged. My laptop is plugged in but does not support. AC adapter works fine. Is this a battery problem? Do I have to buy a new battery?

    Is this a battery problem?

    No doubt...

Do I have to buy a new battery?

If there is battery failure, the battery should be replaced.
But if your warranty is valid I recommend asking an ASP in your country for assistance... perhaps it could be replaced in warranty...
