• Changing the order of the drives using the VI SDK

  I'm changing the order of the discs using the VI API SDK. Can anyone help me in doing this. Currently I have remove all the diskdevices and make a ReconfigureVM_Tak followed by adding disk devices in the order of the prefeered and new call to the ReconfigureVM_Task.

  On this I finish by adding records in the same order, which has been defined as a prerequisite for these operations.

  Any kind of help in this is apprciated.

  So my question is why exactly are you doing this? If the disks are empty, then simply put any drive you want to be the first and foremost.

  The label "Hard disk X" is just to let you know how many disks is attached and which adapter/SCSI bus is on. If you have added disk0-2 and you remove and you add back them in reverse order, then disk2 will now label 'disk 1' since this is the first record added. What really matters is the map/bus it's on, because the OS will see the readers in a certain order, which is what I think that where it counts.

  At this point, you will never get the labels to be "inverted" because the labels are generated to ensure uniqueness through the number of disks.

  I hope this makes sense, so the recommendation is to order the disks in the order in which you want the OS to see it, that will be by selecting the map/bus

  for example SCSI0:0, SCSI0:1, SCSI0:2...

• Changed to aaa when exporting xml doc in AIR application XML namespaces

  When I export my xml in a Format of TimedText leave an AIR application, that I'm working on xml namespaces change to aaa instead of xml... anyone knows how to fix this or prevents the application to change arbitrarily.

  Another question, for some reason any code I have, as to the format now, won't let me not use the appendChild method to add my cuepoints to the FTT xml document.

  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  My code is below:

• AIR SDK 3.7 repeatable include-sources are broken

  I recently tried to update the SDK that I use (3.3) to the latest version. The upgrade has resulted in generations failed. On firther investigation it turned out that only one class has been compiled in CFC, not all.

  We use ANT to compile the SWC files like this:

  This translates into a command as it internally:

  Delve into bytecode, I found the likely cause of this error.

  In compile.jar, com.adobe.flash.compiler.config.Configuration method setIncludeSources is called for each instance of '- include - sources' on the command line. This method calls fillListWithResolvedPaths, which is a target.clear () on every call. That would explain why only the last value passed in the command line is actually treated.

  I tried also with 3.5 SDK (but did not bother with the others) so I guess that this bug was introduced with CSA 2.0.

  Also, I see that: 'include-stylesheet uses the same internal method, so it should be touched simillary.

  I got really like to use the new SDK, because of a specific characteristic (stack traces in the code of the version, swf 18, http://www.adobe.com/devnet/articles/flashplayer-air-feature-list.html). Switching from the old SDK with the new product built failed.

  How do you change the font size in a mac book air?

  I assume that you are looking to increase the size of all the text that you see in all applications - system-wide. In this case, please open System Preferences > accessibility. Check out the options at your disposal under Vision. You can "zoom in" the entire screen by using a combination of keys.

  Some applications (such as Safari) allow you to zoom in on the screen using a two finger trackpad gesture.

  Font sizes are changed to applications (such as Pages) by using a text editing menu selection, but there is no way equivalent to achieve in the Finder (for example) or other applications that are not intended to manipulate text.

  I select the following from the part of 'Free flight' from the main menu.

  -Aircraft (especially 738)

  -Airport / Gate

  Clicking to steal and the game is loading. When it starts, the game is very good. After that I change the following settings in the menu that comes from the ' alt ' key.

  -Fuel = game is very good

  -(Instrument flight IFR) Game Plan is very well

  -Weather (real) = game is very good

  -Time & season (real) = after changing this, other planes are going wild. Air planes fly as an F16 (turning, diving etc). Planes on the runway going too wild. Their speeds are below the track and only you can see their bodies. When you select one of these right click menu, they are down to 4-5 meters of taxiway and ride on the road.

  I really love to steal in options real that's why I change all the parameters for real-time, but this bug makes me boring.

• Can I change the colors of onion skin?

  Hi, I've been wandering there at - there a way to change the colors of the layer to animate. We use the green light as the background and the secondary color is always green, so that we cannot see the color. is there a way to change that. It's really hard to spot the next scene, if we cannot see where to draw in-betweens.

• The green onion skin color of incoming frames does not by default. How can this be changed?

  Not going to have a skin color of blue onion dark on the outbound frames and a light green on the incoming frames. The host cannot see the green on a light BG and blue is hard to see on a dark BG. I read on the forum and it seems there is no way to change the color. There must be a way to change these colors to adapt to the work. I've been animating with flash for TV and Flash for 15 years suddenly changes and there's this problem. Can you suggest a solution? There should be a preference for these colors, otherwise the light green should be changed to dark red to match the value of the blue face. Most of the rough animators on a light BG.

• Impossible to change the settings for virtual memory by using Fusion 5 on MacBook Air

  I use VMWare Fusion 5.0.3 and I'm trying to start a picture.  The image complains that I need to reduce the virtual memory settings.  I go to settings: processors and memory and reduce from 4 GB to 2.5 GB image. There is no button Save, so I click on the red X.  I tried this several times using several ways to access the settings and that you can save them using any combination.  I started a VMWare image which has 2 GB configured 'work' and was unable to change these settings as well.  My MacBook Air has 4 GB of physical RAM.

  Okay - problem solved, but do not really exactly know how; but Dariusd started me in the right direction. I was at VMWare 4.1.x last week and recently updated to v5.0.3. I don't remember having these problems before. When I launched my VMWare image running in v4.1.x around v5.0.3, initially asked me if I wanted to move the VM and I said no.  I restarted the VM today (after having deleted all files and not pumped up the images once again) and responded yes, this time to upgrade. However, just after I tried to upgrade the virtual machine I got the error message "not enough of memory" again. So I then when in the parameters, as Dariusd suggested and changed the number of processor to 1 and changed the value of memory: However, it did not work. BUT, I did it again, changed the number of processors to 4 and then lowered the memory to 1024 as VMWare has suggested. IT WORKED! So I don't know if it was the attempt to upgrade the size of memory VM (which I doubt) or change to 4 processors as well as the update of the memory. Be it, I'm in place and thank you!

  for an app, I did in Flash CS 5.5.

  I did not have this problem in iOS6.

  This is not correct, you don't have to export AIR 3.4. The most recent is 3.8 and the difference is huge for overall consistency. Please do not export to 3.4.

  Download the latest version of the AIR SDK:

  http://www.Adobe.com/devnet/air/air-SDK-download.html

  Unzip it anywhere that you want to save your SDK. I put mine in the file Flash CS6 (Note: 3.8 on the picture file does not exist, you have to do and you can call it anything you like.) I used 3.8 clarity and the convention.).

  If you have CS6 then simply point to the new SDK (help-> manage AIR SDK-[+] button, point to the location of the SDK)

  If you have access to just use it more CS5.5 CS6. If you must use CS5.5 then you can google a lot of resources on the way to well to overlay AIR SDK on CS5.5.

  Well, the right event type is AIEvent.DOCUMENT_CROP_AREA_MODIFIED. It is very useful to play with EventWatcher distance example Creative Suite SDK examples.
