Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4 Wireless Network Adapter driver 12.0.0.116 gives a slow speed.

I bought aspire V3 - 574 G-54VY a month back. It runs on windpws 10 64-bit. There is a problem with the Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4 Wireless Network Adapter. Whenever I update the driver to version 12.0.0.116 I face extremely slow internet. But when I go back to the previous version of the driver 4.0.0.115 i.e., the speed is correct. Can someone help me with this issue, because I'm not able to determine whether or not I have a defective laptop. The center of same service replaced the wifi card, but always the same question comes up. Thanks in advance.

Hi guys Finally I found the problem with the help of a technician

The problem was with power settings. When the laptop is plugged in, he took the full speed and slow battery mode. The solution is:

Goto settings-> system-> power and sleep-> additional power settings-> settings of plan (plan selected)

OR

Search for Goto-> type Control Panel-> hardware and sound-> Power Options->-> change the parameters of the plan (plan selected)

Then

change power settings advance-> adapter settings-> power saving mode-> Set battery maximum performance wireless

Check your speed now (if necessary reboot)

I am now using the updated driver 12.0.0.191 and internet high speed is correct.

  • The Qualcomm Atheros AR5BWB222 Wireless Network Adapter adapter has driver - or hardware problems

It's for my laptop Acer Aspire V3 - 771G who has internet CONNECTION problems. I was able to connect fine until windows 8, now I can only connect using the hard line. I ran a bunch of updates, driver downloads and etc means for this model directly on the Acer website for the upgrade of windows 7 to 8 and I had no chance.  However, this message appears when I try to fix the problems of network adapter "the Qualcomm Atheros AR5BWB222 Wireless Network adapter adapt knows driver - or hardware-related problems".  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I FIXED IT ALL! :) Simply drag or type at the top right of your screen to open the SEARCH option. Research of Control Panel. Click MANAGE the DEVICES.  Now, you can either search for the driver who is broken or defective write his name uninstall, and then reinstall it from the web (recommended to go to page creator ex; atheros was mine so I have downloaded from them.)  If you have no W/LAN driver then go to your website of the laptop manufacturers and find the necessary driver for your model :) I HOPE THIS HAS HELPED!

  • Qualcomm-Atheros AR5BWB222 Wireless Network adapt

    Hello

I have trouble keeping my brand new Acer Aspire 5600U online.  The Ondaaah continues to go offshore, often.  I know that this is not my router because I never had this problem with the old computer.  Is this a known problem with the Qualcomm Atheros AR5BWB222 ANA, and if so, did someone come with a fix for this?  I saved a paper copy of the information on the diagnosis of the last time that I hit my offline, and

Yes, that seems to have solved the problem for my Aspire 5600U all-in-one desktop.  The setting in Windows 8 is:

Control Panel > hardware and sound > Device Manager > network adapters.

Then choose Qualcomm Atheros AR5BWB222 Wireless Adapter and

Uncheck the box "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."

I tested this setting for the last few days and have not gone offline once.

It's a shame that a large number of unnecessary corrections are available, which do not solve the problem,

and that supported by Acer do not notify customers do, before they try something more radical.

If I had followed their instructions, I would have ended up paying to ship to Acer for repair.

and who knows what I would have obtained, since their support does not seem to be aware of this!

Turning into a computer brand new for refurbished computer from someone else is never going to be a good solution for me.

Didn't have to pay for shipping repair a computer that should work, out of the box.  Very disappointed in support of Acer.  I doubt I would buy my next computer, now that I know about the quality of their customer service and technical support.

This solution seems to work fine for a desktop computer, but not so well for a laptop.  Both for the effective management of energy!

Thanks for the suggestion, finally something that worked!

    Driver details

However, all the drivers are available here:

  • Atheros AR5004G wireless network adapter

    Hello

I own a Toshiba Satellite P30 Bios version 1.30, XP SP2, and I've been very happy with it until recently.

Since a few weeks I meet from time to time system crash, the computer crashes: does not react on the keyboard, screen freezes and only by pressing the power button for 30 seconds for a total power down allows. Fans spin again. Sometimes, after a such restart on diagnosis (before Windows starts) display the following message can be read: resource conflict - PCI network in the Groove 3 controller. Bus: 02; Feature: 02; Function: 00.
It is the only PCI card that has my system.

There was no material added to the system, the message is quite strange. Wait a few minutes and turn it back on it cause do not receive this message. Also helps dismantle the card wireless built-in, wait a second and mount it again.

When I use the computer connected to the LAN via a network cable, while radio signals are turned off, the problem not more occurs. When I disable the Atheros AR5004G Wireless Network Adapter in Windows, the problem is not to be produced.

There is no message in the event viewer.

I do not use recovery Toshiba OS, but Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2 installed by our system administrator. The same Setup worked without a problem for about 3 months. After that I met the problem I tried to reinstall the drivers and software for the network adapter wireless since the original CD from Toshiba, but not helped.

I use the Atheros Client Utility version 3.1.2.19
Version of the driver name AR5211, C:\Windows\system32\drivers\ar5211.sys, 3.1.2.12.

I saw another user, peter-jaap mentioned on this forum a few weeks earlier the same problem. Any help would be appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Laszlo

    Hi Laszlo

In my opinion, there is a hardware conflict. You said that you have this problem for a few weeks. Do you have some changes or install software? This laptop comes with Windows XP SP2 home edition, and all the drivers that you have on CD tools & utilities are fit to work properly with SP2.

It's very strange that for awhile in particular this issue occurred. If you disable the network adapter in Device Manager you can use the card wireless without problems?

All drivers and tools on the recovery CD are adapted to work correctly with the laptop and it can sometimes be a big problem to prepare the laptop on your own with some specific configuration. In my opinion if there is no solution to your problem, you must contact partner in your country.

  • Atheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adapter does not

    Hello

My Atheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adapter has stopped working. I tried to update a driver he says not installed correctly. I am running windows 7 32 bit

There should be a little more characters for your PC model Toshiba laptop.  For example, here is the support page for the Toshiba Satellite L300 - ST3502--> http://support.toshiba.com/support/modelHome?freeText=2221250

If it was your model, you click on the "Drivers & updates" tab, click on the "Wireless" link under "filter by" and then look for the link "Atheros Wireless LAN Driver for Windows 7 (32/64)" you get to a page where you can download the driver installation package.

Download the driver appropriate for your computer (which may or may be not the same as in the above example) and run the installer.

  • Atheros AR5BWB222 wireless network adapter

I have the ACER ULTRA, 13-inch book.

After downloading and installing windows 8, Atheros AR5BWB222 wireless network adapter has problems of communication between the pilot and the material with the result that I have no internet connection.

Since there is no ethernet port, there is no way to connect to the internet to look for a solution!

I uninstalled and allowed the system to search for the best driver and reinstall.  Same result - no commucication between the driver and the hardware.  Windows 8 wireless driver options are limited to Samsung, Intel, and Microsoft - no QUallcom.

Is - this problem is causing an incompatibility or hardware driver?

    @Barrie,

On another PC go to acer.com and download the drivers, then use a USB key to move the drivers for your laptop. There is a certain Win8 drivers available for download on the acer.com support
  • Changing the settings of the WLAN with an Atheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adapter running on a Vista computer

How can I set the preset wlan on ONE for an Atheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adapter running on a Vista computer.  Currently, the default is OFF and I need to use the Fn F1 to bring up the option to turn it on, Iwant my laptop to connect to my wireless router automatically without having to do that.

    Thank you

    Hi Cath.

In most cases, it is a configuration in the BIOS of the laptop that will solve the wireless by card.

Then start the laptop enter in BIOS and look for an entry that configure the wireless to be all the time card.

Where necessary the manual or computer support site must have the necessary info.

  • How fast is the Atheros AR5007EG wireless network adapter?

I have an Atheros AR5007EG wireless network adapter in my computer. For six months, we have Broadbank 100Mbit/s in our House. When I call the support (support of the broadband company) they ask me to check if my computer can handle it. How can I check that?

    I think the Atheros AR5007EG is a 802. 11 b / g device. Which would have a maximum speed of 54 Mbps.

    For 100 Mbps, you need a Wireless N - 802.11n device.

    Hello:

Looks like you did the manual install right.

It's an old wireless adapter and just, it may not work with the W8.

Have you tried to run the windows update since the real device?

If not try this, click on the driver tab, click on update driver, select Auto search and see if WU detects a driver in this way.

  • Satellite P300 PSPCCE: Atheros AR9281 wireless network adapter are not all networks

I have a Satellite P300 PSPCCE with Atheros AR9281 wireless network.

After a clean install of Windows 7, I can't see wireless networks, unless I connect an Ethernet cable to my wired network card.

As soon as I take the cable on wireless networks disappear. This computer had Vista and it worked fine there. I tried latest drivers available from Toshiba, but that makes no difference.

I have tried disabling the wireless and turn market as well with the FN and F8 key and switch on the front. I also tried to uninstall. But it's always the same.

If someone has had this problem and is there a solution to this?

    Bjarni cordially

    Hi mate

To be honest I never did experience even with a WiFi card and I have no idea why the LAN cable affects WLan card functionality, it makes no sense to me!

First, I recommend that you check the settings of the router and reset if necessary
In addition, you should go to the s for laptop BIOS settings and set its default value.
Check the version of the BIOS if newest is available, then an update would be worth a try

You use the Atheros Wlan configuration tool?
If this is not the case, try this out!
It s a configuration tool that could be used instead of owning windows wlan settings
