Qualification - adapter variable mapping

Hello Experts,

I have to spend the 'resource settings' as arguments to the task of the adapter (custom). I've done things below,

Adapter task-> adapter-> selected variable a variable->

Data type: String
MapTo: resource
Qualifier: Process Instance (displays only this option)
Capital type: Server XYZ
Ownership of assets COMPUTER: Server Admin

But it gives an error during start-up. I know that I wouldn't give "Instance of Process" as a qualifier, but it does not list anything else. (In the task of user iPlanet qualifier lists two values 'Instance of server and process'). Why he isn't lsited in my case? Am I missing something?

Please help me.

Thanks and greetings
INIYA

Have you defined "IT resource Type Lookup Field" in the form of process that is part of your custom connector?
I think that this is the reason why resource does not appear in the list of qualifications.

Thank you
Chetan

  • FDM with adapter Essbase: mapped and overall Dimensions

    Hello

IM implementation of FDM 11.1.2.2 with planning, a tent to undersatnd the adapter. Can someone explain to me the diffeerence between mapped and a global dimension? And in addition the la difference difference between assets, required, use the list, use as looked up?

I understand not mapped are the dimensions that you'll have in the columns in your flat file and a map. In addition, Im guessing that a dimension world are those that you like POV in your flat file and you need to match the control tables. But I do not understand what are the control tables for?

In various examples of control arrays are periods and scenarios. However my source system gives me the period in a column, so I really don't need such as a global dimension. What is the impact of periods as overall not having not and so do not have as a control panel?

Sorry for my questions newbiee and greetings!

FDM the period targeted (month/year) and the script is used by parameters of your POV. The period and the scenario you choose here determines where he goes in the target, not the contents of your file. Therefore, you may have a file of data to say that November 2012 real but load via FDM with a POV value January 2012 Budget and it is where all the data of the IRA. In your import format you will find therfore defined only associations with the dimensions mapped so that the concerned source values are associated with the correct size mapping table. Control tables control associations for periods and scenarios/categories. In your case the period of the value in column a is not used for any mapping activity.

You can put validations in FDM scripts to check the contents the queue data correspond to the period / settings of the script in the selected POV but as FDM are mainly a user focused on the process of loading, is normally not necessary.

  • Retrieve contextual data in hanging adapter "received update of reconciliation."

    Hi all.

We have IOM 11.1.2.3 and a LDAP 11.1.1.6 Connector. We want to perform a cleanup on the data of the child once reconciliation has been performed. To our knowledge, the way to do it is to create a conditional task with our logic and connect it to the "Treaty event" response task 'Reconciliation update received' in "LDAP user". That we did it and it works well. We can trace the call in our newspapers and accounts 'resource history '. According to the documentation, all account data should be available in the form of "contextual data" (last part of the chapter 14.4, https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E52734_01/oim/OMDEV/reconsched.htm#OMDEV4698). Unfortunately, the documentation is not clear on how this can be done. Any ideas/suggestions? We tried using ContextManager, but we are unable to recover account information.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Best regards

    tinba

Generally speaking, you would map the values in relevant field in the form of process/account directly to your variables of the adapter (process task > integration > adapter Variables > Map To > data Process).

Otherwise, you could pass the "process instance key" in your card and get all of the account form values using tcFormInstanceOperations.getProcessFormData)

  • DCOM component not found after Essbase adapter configured for FDM 11.1.2.2

We are the migration from 11.1.1.3 to 11.1.2.2 release following the official guide FDM.

After update of schema, we can log the fine FDM Workbench, but we have problems during the Essbase adapter upgrade.
The existing adapter is outdated (for Essbase 11.1.1.3), and we have followed the document to import, save, configure new adapter Essbase.
However, after the machine adapter profile options (application to connect and so forth) are at stake, we tried to set up to dimension mappings.
In the field of the 'Dimension of the target' in the tab 'Dimension' of the card configuration window, it shows that "the connection has failed." in the drop-down list.

Then we discovered that we need customer Essbase Runtime 32-bit after reading an Article in KM of Oracle, we copied the Essbase server and set the environment variables.
After that and re-register the adapter now, the dimension is displayed in the pop-up window when you configure the size of the Essbase adapter.

The progress of our recording adapter FDM:
1 import the adapter ES11X-G4 - J.xml in FDM workbench.

  • Help of prepopulate adapter

    Hi all

I use OIM 9.1.0.2 BP07 and I configured Table DB adapter. I want to pre-fill the user form fields but, all fields of the form are themselves filled with IOM instead of respective fields UserID. Here is the procedure I followed

    (1) on the console Design, development-> adapter tools factory-> adapter created prepopulate called DBPrepop with adapter Type pre-filled rule generator.

The tasks of creating adapter 2) as user, fname lname for user_id, first_name last_name variables using the API tcStringUtilOperations with method and the input string holdData method is mapped to above variables.

    (3) on console Design, the form designer-> UD_MY_Users (form of Provisioning for my DB resource)-> create new Version-> prepopulate-> added 3 field user_id, first_name and last_name with the default rule, the adapter as DBPrepop, order as 1,2,3.

    (4) mapping as below

    variable-> Data Type-> map-> qualifying

    (a) USER_ID-> String-> user-> user connection definition

    first name b)-> String-> user-> name definition

    Last_name c)-> String-> user-> Lastname definition

Please suggest me where I am wrong

    Kind regards
    Madhu

method holdData seems a bad idea to me.

-Create a variable in her pre-fill adapter
-Directly use set adapter-> Variable return value
    -Your mappings looks very good.

  • IOM API - how do you get a tcUtilityFactory in an adapter of entity?

How do you get a tcUtilityFactory in an adapter of entity? I thought I could map it as a parameter and pass it as an object of reference database, but when I go to the object manager data mappings, the only possibilities for mappings are fields of the entity (USR_ *)

I know that in a regular class, you can do something like getDatabase(), which exists if you extend a tcBaseEvent?

You will only need map adapter variables defined as a map to resolve at run time and the dataProvider will be not not card to resolve at run time , rather it
will be mapped as stated in previous answers...

You must have a created a java variable (argument of method) of type tcDataProvider when you create any task of java in the mapping of the adapter to this with the dataProvider
variable created in adapter... (I speak no mapping required m users)...

  • Java adapter in the process task

    Hello

I use DBAT connector to configure data of IOM on the target system. I have an obligation to change password in the target system when it is changed to IOM (default is changed, but this change must be done in a specific way). I packed a java code that changes in some way and put password implemented as an adapter in IOM (simple adapter; a single entry (user password) and an output).
I guess I should create a task in the form of process that calls this card, but after a few tries, I'm still not able to make it work very well.

My question is: how to implement adapter in the process task? There are 2 tasks by default, which corresponds to the user password:
    -Change user password
    -Edit USR_PASSWORD
    Should I change them?

    Thanks in advance!

No thing wrong with the process, you explain your statement of the problem correctly,

Now do something, go to your task change password and in return variable mapping, don't map to code response, map it to process the data ==> password

  • Custom SQL database adapter

    Hi all

Is it possible that we can add the variables in BPEL process in SQL custom database adapter.

    Example:

I have a variable defined in a BPEL process and I have assigned a value to this variable. And to appeal process accessing data adapter is to have custom Sql operation and then how to use the variable in sql custom?

    Any idea, please suggest.

    Kind regards
    Abdou

    Abdou,

You can assign/pass a value to your sql custom DBAdapter like that.

    Select in where tNom = #variablename * +.
ex: select * from emp where empno = #employeenum

Use a transformation/assign activity and make the actual variable mapping to the input variable (shows "employeenum" as its variable) to invoke the activity that invokes the DBAdapter.
I used this scenario largely in my projects.

  • Hundreds of "Microsoft ISATAP Adapter" s in interfaces, slow down some networking applications

    Hello

Recently, I noticed that some Java applications on my computer take a long time to start: at startup, the grip of the application within about 20 seconds, while the Task Manager indicates that the "javaw.exe" process takes 25% CPU usage (I'm on a quad-core processor, then that would mean that the process of one of them is fully) at the end of the duration of block applications finally starts and then normally works (and the CPU usage decreases). However, this long startup time is annoying when development/debugging Java applications.

Make debugging, I could see that what was slowing down applications is a method of the Java API called 'getNetworkInterfaces' that retrieves the list of available network interfaces. Running a test program showed me that this method has found more than 1,000 network interfaces (!) on my system, which most is labeled "Microsoft ISATAP Adapter". Apparently, this method is called at the beginning of these Java applications, for reasons that I have not always figured out.

Did some other research, I found that this method calls a Windows API 'GetIfTable"( MSDN documentation ) function: runs the C++ test program still shows the same number of interfaces (~ 1 000), with all the"Microsoft ISATAP adapter' s. as a result, the problem is probably not due to lack of Java; It's just more noticeable on Java applications, because Java must create a NetworkInterface object for each of these interfaces.

Still more research to show that it is a known problem in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008. The question now is: how to remove these "Microsoft ISATAP cards?" They do not appear in the devices, or using DevCon Manager as suggested on other forums. So far, I have not found a satisfactory answer.

Here are a few links relating to the issue, this could enlighten us:

This seems to be the issue as described in the base, Microsoft technical support, but he mentions "6to4 adapter" not "maps ISATAP.

This user in the forums TechNet has the same problem (multiple interfaces, network do not appear in Device Manager, can't get them off with DevCon) but the wire provided no real answers. It would also be interesting to know where getIfTable retrieves network information: apparently is not in the registry.

Finally, the most interesting link is one that also describes the issue (if it is on Windows Server) and mentions the effect on Java programs. He described a solution mentioning a tool "NDISCLEANUP" but I can't find it anywhere. Where can I get this tool?

    Hello

    Thanks for the reply.

According to the description I would recommend that you post the question on the Windows 7 IT Pro forums for assistance.

  • Switch 'VMnet0"of VMware WS, invited bridges to the"VirtualBox networking"adapter instead of the WiFi adapter.

    Hi Chaps and Chapettes.

HP dm1-3125ed (portable slim and light)

    AMD E-350

    8 GB OF DDR3 MEMORY

    Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

    VMware Workstation 6.5.5 build 328052

Early in the afternoon, I decided to try VirtualBox for Linux 3D hardware acceleration. (Just keep your axes down at the moment. )

I did not have a lot of time and did not check on the incompatibilities or traps.

So I first created a restore point (thankfully).

Then I downloaded and installed VirtualBox and the Oracle expansion pack.

Rebooted, created a virtual machine and booted up with 'linuxmint-11-gnome-dvd - 64-bit .iso' (Ubuntu 11.04 based Gnome distribution).

But its kernel panicked. VirtualBox couln t even start in the direct environment. So I have a few minutes of research and found the following. Incompatibility of VirtualBox with the AMD E-350 combo and 64-bit clients. VMware Workstation 6.5.5 did not have this problem, it is compatible because I'd have successfully installed earlier, but there no hardware-accelerated 3D for Linux guests.

    http://forums.VirtualBox.org/viewtopic.php?f=6 & t = 39361

    http://www.VirtualBox.org/ticket/8824

So, I removed the VirtualBox VM, but left the installed program.

But an hour later or if I needed a script in a VMware WS VM test and debugging.

Only network connectivity between the 3 currents of Fords VM. Any other dead "Destination host unreachable".

No interaction bewteen the windows host and guests, no interaction between the clients and the internet.

But these 3 guys could ping each other and push files between them.

    "Route - n", "route - ve", "mii-tool" and "mii-tool - v" looked as expected. Nothing weird. "mii-tool - r" even started a successful auto-negotiation.

I tried a lot of other things. All the time, I knew that it was something to do with VirtualBox, because it was the only change made to the system.

Then, after 4 hours or more , the light bulb lit.

If these 3 guys could only talk to each other, they must be on a separate network. : rolleyes:

All the time that I had seen this "VirtualBox networking" adapter in the network and sharing Center. Just above VMnet1 and VMnet8.

I closed, 3 guests and closed VMware WS. Then disabled the card of "VirtualBox networking" in "the change map settings.

After shooting WS and 3 guests again, all 3 could interact with the host Windows and internet.

So I stop invited and WS closed again. And activated the "VirtualBox networking" adapter again.

Inflamed WS once again, and all the VMS had lost interaction with the internet and their host.

It looks like VMnet0 ("the bridge to an adapter automatically chosen") automatically connected to the «VirtualBox networking» map

But I think I understand car VMnet0 bridging behavior (for example):

eth0 (map virtiual) <>- VMnet0 (virtual switch) <>- Ralink RT5390 Wireless adapt (physical map)

eth1 (map virtiual) <>- VMnet0 (virtual switch) <>- Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller adapter (physical map)

So, always one side of VMnet0 virtual and material on the other side.

Linking the two sides practically, is almost like behavior VMnet1: "network invited only"...

But apparently, VMnet0 connects on a first come, first served, during the collection of adapters?

Even after several reboots, VMnet0 is always connected to "VirtualBox networking."

Is it possible to have the "VirtualBox networking" card activated AND prevent this unwanted switching happen?

I also hope it helps others lose as much time as I did...

I couldn't write these 4 hours lost on my timesheet. But they would more than cover the price of upgrade for both of my WS to WS7 licenses.

(You may know axe me.) )

disable automatic bypass with virtual network Editor

virtual hubs (vmnets) make no difference if they are connected to a network phsical card or to an other nic installed by VBox - virtal this is why you need to specify which card you want to fill vmnet0

It's the syntax I used: < var items = c:forEach = "${requestScope.paramsMap.templateList"templateItem"}" > the templateList value is not read. The same code works fine if I hard code elements.

Just a shot in the water here, but I think you have a typo in on "requestScropt.paramsMap.templateList" where "paramsMap" should be "paramsmap" in the context of the CSC model. This could be the cause, it is impossible for ODA find the variable you are referencing. (I think it's "paramsmap" within the SCC regardless of what name you have the parameter map process variable.)
