Query execution error database

I have two pages, where you can select the account codes and the other is to show the details of this specific account. Here is the code for the first page to select an account and go to the second page.

    Hi all

    We use the Hyperion HFM 11.1.1.3 application. We have recently upgraded to the Oralce Database 11.2.0.2 and reconfigured the HFM application with this new version of the database. When I tried to run the Financial reporting via the HFR studio, I get the error message - ' 5200: query execution error: invalid item ID ". Please could you help me solve this problem.

    Thank you

    Michel K

    It was because of the default angle that is invalid for the user which was inconsistent with the special report.

    Change the preferences to the preview from the user Point of view and rerun the report.

    File > preference > Financial Reporting > preview select 'ON' box under the Point of view.

    Re-run the report, then select the desired POV.

    This will prompt the user to change their POV every time that he or she opens a report. They can select the correct POV and the report runs successfully.

    You can turn off later. Let me know if it solved that problem.

  • Query execution error

    Hello

    I'm having a hard time finding this error message.

    Run database query error.
    General error: unknown table 'photoid' by MULTI DELETE

    The error occurred in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\homes\commuser\deletephoto.cfm: line 32

    30: DELETE photoID adID, contactID, photoType, legend, ThumbURL, ThumbPath, FullURL and FullPath
    31: IMAGES

    33: < / cfquery >
    34:

    That happens before is another query is executed and some files are deleted on the server (no problem), then the database records that are stored the paths to these files are removed, and is where he chokes. The above query deletes several files at the same time according to how much is checked on the form template.

    This used to work on a database Access, but I've migrated to mySQL recently and just started to rewrite code.

    I don't have any table called 'photoID' so this error message does not tell me much.

    Thank you...

    You do not specify a field in a delete query - you just delete the records together

  • Financial Reporting Exception - query execution error: java.lang.Arithmetic

    Hi all

    I use the Financial Reporting Studio 11.1.2.507 to develop a report to a planning application, so I use a connection of planning to do. This report contains some Calc and I'm sure it's possible generate a division by zero. But what is coming: I started to develop this report using the admin user and no error has been shown. Then when I tried to access this report with one user other than the admin user, the error occurs: "error running query: java.lang.ArithmeticException: / by zerojava.lang.ArithmeticException.
    So, have you seen this scenario before?
    Could you help me with this problem?

    PS: if I was not clear enough, please tell me!

    Best regards,
    Rafael Melo - Brasil

    No problem. The POV that you set in Studio EN automatically applies to all users. You don't need to do anything else. It could be a security issue. I just assumed the POV for the test user is probably mapped to the dimension itself as entity and as the test user doesn't have access to the entity, you get the error message.

    To resolve this issue, connect to the workspace > Explore > file > Preferences > Financial Reporting > user Point of view > preview. Make sure that the option 'On' is selected.

    I hope this helps.

  • What is the correct procedure of DMBS_XPLAN for the query execution plan

    Hello.

    We are on Oracle 11.2.0.3 on Linux. I am dev. DBA and we have about 80 developers Java development team. They want to question the execution plan of queries to resolve the sqls. Generally, they use the GUI tools like the toad to see execution plan. I always use the procedure for the following query execution plan:

    Select * from
    Table (dbms_xplan.display_cursor (null, null, 'allstats + cost'));

    I should suggest that they use this too rather than rely on tools like the toad - because they can show estimated plan and not the actual plan. And to provide a sql, it is best to use the real plan to work with. Do not take account of 'allstats + cost' part in the command above, but my point is: should I ask them of still rely on sqlplus and not the GUI tools and use the command display_cursor package DBMS_XPLAN?

    I will be grateful for suggestions.

    OrauserN

    You must use the DBMS_XPLAN package and functionality.

    The tool used to run the package doesn't matter. A raw request to DISPLAY_CURSOR will run the same server code in any tool including Toad.

    If you rely on other GUI features (for example a "explain plan" button or similar) then you know what this feature of actuall application running under-the-covers.

    My suggestion would be to assess and consider using Oracle free sql developer version 4 because it is not only FREE but also uses the DBMS_XPLAN correctly.

    I need to synchronize alertdefinitions based on XML files please help me around this error.

    Thank you very much.

    Claudio

    Trying some updates for automatic alert via the script API definition, I met this problem as well. No matter what I did, it seemed that this class cast exception would be thrown. I downloaded the Github source HQAPI and started searching. I found that the error was in the call to the XmlUtils.deserialize method, which has invoked a JAXBContext to select the class of the object to return, after analysis of the XML. The code that calls the method waits get an object that can be cast to the type AlertDefinitionsResponse, but he returned to an object that must be cast to type AlertDefinitionResponse.

    After a bit of investigation, I realized that JAXB is the context of the node root XML data. Because the root node is AlertDefinitionResponse, he always returned an object of this type, instead of the expected AlertDefinitionsResponse type. Currently, the only way I found to get around this problem is to change the node root to AlertDefinitionsResponse. So, sync-able XML would look like the following, based on XML of the original poster.

         Success

    I raise a question on the Github repository so that officials are aware of this problem.

    EDIT: The problem has been discussed here

    Controlfile was restored correctly. what I am doing wrong?

    OK;

    Not sure if it is the solution you're looking for or not. In a nutshell what I did was setup on the remote control must be a bit like the source database and did the restore using its ORACLE_SID. In addition to the DBID and control files, restore at the same place, it seems good. Here are my steps:

    H2. Step 1
    On the source database, a table is created and added some data

    CREATE TABLE DEL_ME_LATER (
       NAME          VARCHAR2(30),
       ENTER_DATE     DATE  DEFAULT SYSDATE
    );

    INSERT INTO DEL_ME_LATER ( NAME) VALUES ( 'ME_101');
    COMMIT;

    SELECT * FROM DEL_ME_LATER;

    NAME                           ENTER_DATE
    ------------------------------ -------------------------
    ME_101                         08-AUG-12

    H2. Step 2
    Source database is using backup:

    $ORACLE_HOME/bin/rman target / nocatalog  << EOF

    run {
    allocate channel d1 type disk;
    backup format '/u03/oradata/RCATALOG_rman/df_t%t_s%s_p%p' database;
    sql 'alter system archive log current';
    backup format '/u03/oradata/RCATALOG_rman/al_t%t_s%s_p%p' archivelog all;
    backup current controlfile format '/u03/oradata/RCATALOG_rman/sb_t%t_s%s_p%p';
    release channel d1;
    }

    This creates these files

    al_t790761999_s84_p1
    df_t790761919_s79_p1
    df_t790761976_s80_p1
    df_t790761991_s81_p1
    df_t790761995_s82_p1

    H2. Step 3
    The source database ID is obtained

    select DBID from v$DATABASE

    DBID
    ----------------------
    3754763357

    H2. Step 4
    Create the folder structure on the remote server

    mkdir -p /u01/oradata/RECLONE/
    mkdir -p /u01/app/oracle/oradata/RECLONE/
    mkdir -p /u01/app/oracle/admin/RECLONE/pfile
    mkdir -p /u01/app/oracle/admin/RECLONE/adump
    mkdir -p /u01/app/oracle/admin/RECLONE/dpdump
    mkdir -p /u02/oradata/RECLONE/
    mkdir -p /u03/oradata/RECLONE_rman
    mkdir -p /u01/oradata/RCATALOG/
    mkdir -p /u01/app/oracle/oradata/RCATALOG/
    mkdir -p /u01/app/oracle/admin/RCATALOG/pfile
    mkdir -p /u01/app/oracle/admin/RCATALOG/adump
    mkdir -p /u01/app/oracle/admin/RCATALOG/dpdump
    mkdir -p /u02/oradata/RCATALOG/
    mkdir -p /u03/oradata/RCATALOG_rman

    Note: After several tests I found the simple thing was to use RMAN restore without changing the ORACLE_SID so I created dual folders on the remote system as shown above.

    H2. Step 5
    SCP backup on the remote server

    scp /u03/oradata/RCATALOG_rman/al_t790761999_s84_p1 192.168.0.20:/u03/oradata/RCATALOG_rman

    scp /u03/oradata/RCATALOG_rman/df_t790761976_s80_p1 192.168.0.20:/u03/oradata/RCATALOG_rman
    scp /u03/oradata/RCATALOG_rman/df_t790761991_s81_p1 192.168.0.20:/u03/oradata/RCATALOG_rman
    scp /u03/oradata/RCATALOG_rman/df_t790761995_s82_p1 192.168.0.20:/u03/oradata/RCATALOG_rman
    scp /u03/oradata/RCATALOG_rman/df_t790761996_s83_p1 192.168.0.20:/u03/oradata/RCATALOG_rman

    H2. Step 6
    Report control scheme allows to get information about files

  • How to get the query execution time without running...?

    Hello

    I had one condition... as follows...
    I had 3 sql statements. I need to run only sql what runtime is very less.

    Can someone help me, how to get the time query and run this query without using explain plan... ?

    Thank you
    Rajesh

    I can't think in any way at all to get the query execution time without running the query.

    You might get an estimate ( approximation ) If you are using explain plan.

    But you have governed to explain plan for a reason, so I can't help you.
    Why you do not want to use don't explain plan?

  • Reg: SQL query execution time

    Hi all

    How to identify the oracle sql query execution time.

    Thanks in advance.
    SQL> set timing on

  • Get the "selected lines" value after sql custom query in the database adapter

    We execute a custom query in a database adapter. With other technologies (JDBC, etc.) the result of a query produces not only a game but the number of lines selected results. For example, the output of the script of Oracle SQL Developer will display something like:

    9999 selected lines

    at the end of the output of the script.

    I would like to obtain this value for a BPEL process. Of course, I could run a 2nd interview whose where clause is identical to the first, but select count (*) instead. However, it is not only ineffective but (in rare circumstances in an active database) could be the problem.

    It is not obvious to the novice BPEL how to get the selected value and the result set row in an Invoke. Is this possible?

    Maybe it's not the only solution - but this is how I did in the past.

    After step to invoke the adapter, use a step of the having-right/copy to fill a variable of integer type BPEL using the xpath count function...

    That should affect the number of records returned by the query.

    I hope this helps.
