I don't know if you want that the values of the attribute or the element, but it should give you a good start:

SQL> alter session set nls_numeric_characters = ".,";

Session altered

SQL>
SQL> select x.*
  2 from my_table t
  3 , xmltable(
  4 xmlnamespaces('http://www.oracle.com/fsg/2002-03-20/' as "sg")
  5 , '/MasterReport/sg:RptDef/sg:RptLine'
  6 passing xmltype(t.xmldoc)
  7 columns type varchar2(30) path 'sg:RptCell[1]'
  8 , amount number path 'sg:RptCell[2]'
  9 ) x
 10  ;

TYPE AMOUNT

    52209 52214

I want to both sets of chart data.

    I enclose my VI.

    Thank you for your help.

The analysis of string function takes a "Format string" on top (with the right button of the function and choose Help, which explains all the entries).  In particular, you can say 'Give me two numbers separated by a tab' and the output will be two numbers (whole or floating, depending on the chosen format).  In particular, %d\t%d specifies a decimal integer, , whole decimal.

  • How to read the two columns of data in a file of PDM.

    Hi all

I am reading two data columns for the 2nd of a PDM file two sheets, as shown below.

Two columns of data must then be shared so they can be displayed in a xy chart and also apply a linear adjustment VI. I implemented the graph xy and linear adjustment using a txt file (see below), therefore all the outputs work, however this application with a tdms file turns a little more tax.

So, essentially, that I don't know how read the correct leaf and therefore the columns in the PDM file and then how to produce the graph xy and linear adjustment of the data types produce. Here's my current attempt, which produces several errors of the type of terminal, as well as not being able to select the exact data in the PDM.

Any help/suggestions/example vi on this asap would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

Also the PDM file viewer. VI helps you easily understand the structure of data files.

  • reading the timestamp column in the txt file

    Hi pros labview

I work with labview 8.6 for about 1 week and I need help in reading txt files.

the textfiles that I read have 2-11 columns.

the first column shows the time and others show different channels where I measured the voltages.

It is therefore no problem with reading of the voltage-columns and put it on the y - axis to a chart of the vi but I can't the time on the x-axis column.

I took the basic "read file.vi" and it has changed a little according to my needs.

hope you can help me, getting time on the x-axis column. (perhaps with a xy chart?)

the vi and I have to read txt file are attached...

Here is an example. The formatting of the x axis relative time will now do something.

The maximum size of a column report CLOB value is 32 KB. However, the maximum size for the content of the line of the full report is also 32 KB (including the HTML markup), so you can be hitting this limit because of the size of your 10 K CLOB data + the rest of the line.

According to the database character set and the characters which that contains data, the character encoding may use more than one byte to represent a character.

  • Text is wrapped in the clob column

I have a table with a clob column. I'm loading using PLSQL block:

However, if a line is long in my thong and then wraps the line and a single sentence is transformed into two. Please suggest how I can fix it. I use 11g.

PS why are you eager to store SQL statements in a table? Looks like poor design to me.

  • Help - Tuning query based on the status column

    Hello
I have a query in which I need to fetch records based on values in the status column. It can contain the values 'A' and 'P '. A record can have an "A" record and a record of 'P '. My conditions are,
    (1) when it is only 'A' record, can return 'A' record.
    (2) for the 'A' and 'P' folder is there, then return 'A' record.
    (3) when 'P' registration is only, then return 'P' registration.
There are about 3 records 'A' Lake and 3K 'P '. I tried to use 'by' clause queries, but performance are too bad and I am not able to use it. When running as independent queries 'A' retrieval of documents is faster compared to the records of 'P '. When running in 'by' clause of the query is suspended. Please can anyone help how can be managed?

Due to restrictions, I won't be able to view the actual code. I post here a sample.

    Example code:
    WITH q1 AS

    SELECT *
FROM (SELECT t.*, ROW_NUMBER() OVER (PARTITION BY

  • IF NEW VARIABLE in SQL QUERY, DISPLAYS as the LAST COLUMN + rpad does not

Hello all and thanks in advance.

    (1) if I add a new variable to my sql query to select a column, which was already on the table, it shows it in the report of the table as the last column on the right. In other words, if I add "the street" to

something like city, postal code, street, store, Manager, etc., instead of placing the Street between CP and the Bank, the place like I said as the last column on the right.

    (2) when the values entered in the cells of the tables, Yes, they extend to their length, but, only if it is a Word. If it is two, as when I enter the value of 'very good '.

then two lines as well as by a newline within the cell, for example, which in fact too high the rank. I tried sdap spaces with rpad but this did not work. something like rpad (stock, 20,' ')

I have to say that the table is in the same page where there is a form, as the table grows in length it's actually squeezing the form on the left.

    (3) rpad did not work with the simpler syntax, but less would be with what I need, because it turns out that I am using DECODE to perform a conversion between the displayed value and

value returned in my select list of values, something like: DECODE (TO_CHAR (stock), '1', 'Black', '2', 'Average', '3', 'good', '4', 'Very good', null) AS stock

so, I tried to put the rpad there in several places, but either he gave the parse error or it has left empty do not pick up all the values in the column.

    Thank you very much

    Alvaro

    Alvaro

    (1) this is the standard behavior of the constructor of the apex. You can change the order of display with arrows in the report column attributes.

    (2) you have to play with the style of the column attributes to accomplice this. For the style of the instance = "" white-space: pre; ' in the attributes of the element column attributes. " White-space: normal would be put on several space (' ') 1. So no matter how you add with rpad, they will display as 1.
Set a width or as attribute in a class style for this column.

But if I try to use another XMLTable for PVS so it is a Cartesian join.

Of course, it does. You must use a join condition any.

What is the correlation of TRADELEGS, PVS and CREDIT_DERIVATIVES?

I guess you can relate a TICKET to a TRADELEG through the LEG_NUMBER, right? But what about CREDIT_DERIVATIVE PV or TRADELEG?

I need the output to TRADELEGS, PVS and CREDIT_DERIVATIVES.

What explains the output should look like.

I don't know how to get the repeated lines printed and I don't know how to get the printed line that does not contain the optional data.

Here is the script that I have developed so far.  With my actual data I can get the printed name and I can get phone information printed out but only to the exclusion of the names. I was unable to get the data if the optional data is not present.

I tried to refer to information from phone and then back up to 2 levels for the information of name but I receive: ORA-19110: no support for XQuery expression

    Select x.*

    client m.

    , varchar2 (30) phoneType PATH '.'

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    -gary

    Hi Gary,.

Are you sure the sample XML code correspond to your actual data?

The second query expected error because the PATH expression refers to multiple targets.

If it's really like that, the XML structure is not very easy to deal with. It would be wise to have a container element enclosing each customer information, like this:

    http://www.whatever.com/response">

    SMITH

    JENNIFER

    HOME

    555-555-5555.

    MOBILE

    666-666-6666.

    ...

To answer your main question, you can use an OUTER JOIN to include data that do not have Extras.

Using your original sample XML, something like this works for me:

    SQL > select x.lastName

    2, x.firstName

    3, y.phoneType

    4, y.phoneNumber

    client 5 m

    6, XMLTable)

    7 XMLNamespaces (default 'http://www.whatever.com/response')

    8, ' for $i in/clients/first name

    9 return element {} r

    $i 10 / following - sibling:Extras [1]

    11, $i/next - sibling:firstName [1]

    12          , $i

    13          }'

    14 passage xmltype (m.CUSTOMER_XML)

    15 columns

    lastName 16 varchar2 (80) PATH "lastName."

    17, firstName varchar2 (30) PATH "first name".

    18, extras xmltype PATH "Extras."

    (19) x

    20, XMLTable)

    21 XMLNamespaces (default 'http://www.whatever.com/response')

    22, ' / extras/Extra.

    23 passage x.extras

  • Insert the string xml in a clob column. ??

    https://drive.Google.com/file/d/0BwAVQqYmX0-zMHZiS1F0SVdOMmc/view?USP=sharing

    DECLARE
            v_clob CLOB := to_clob('xml string from local file'); --pls. download xml file from above url;
            stmt NVARCHAR2(500) := 'INSERT INTO TEST(XMLDATA) VALUES(:x)';
    BEGIN
            EXECUTE IMMEDIATE stmt USING v_clob;
    END;

    If I use xmltype so I can use XMLType (bfilename ('test_dir', '"Data.xml" '), nls_charset_id ('AL32UTF8'))

    but I have to use clob for storing the xml string. because oracle xmltype cannot correctly parse these xml data. ;

Google search for 'oracle insert clob from the file' would you find this answer fairly quickly.

You don't need to use dynamic sql statements.

  • How to optimize the update statement so that the query is reading the same table?

    Hi all

I have a process with the following UPDATE statement:

    Sales_val update

    SET ship_date =)
    Select max (hist.ship_date)

    FROM sales_hist hist

    WHERE hist. X_ID = A.X_ID

    AND hist. X_VAL = A.X_VAL)

) WHERE EXISTS (select * from sales_hist hist where )

    WHERE hist. X_ID = A.X_ID

    AND hist. X_VAL = A.X_VAL

    )

    sales_val - 50 lines mln (unique index)

    sales_hist - 20 mln ranks (unique index)

I met many problems with waits and locks - how to optimize to avoid locks using the parameters of tables or changes of the declaration? or maybe is there another way to do optimization ?

    Kind regards

    Bolo

Thank you for that. Collect in bulk Unfortunatelly + FORALL does not work with the types in 10g - solution is to use the FOR loop and is not as effective as FORALL in many cases. I do still some tests to solve this problem - I'll put you once it's done.

EDIT: hash partitioning + fusion - 3-5 minutes (time), so for now it's the solution to the problem. Thank you all for the great discussion!

The Session history sampled session 1263 series 41

    ---------------------------------------------------

History of the sampled session is built by sampling

the session target all the 1 second. The sampling process

capture to each sample, if the session is in an active waiting.

a wait inactive, or not in a wait. If the session is in a

active wait interval then one is indicated for all samples

the session was in the same active waiting. If the

session is in an inactive waiting or not waiting for

consecutive samples then one interval is indicated for all

consecutive samples. If we post these consecutive

samples in a single interval session may NOT be permanently

inactive or not in a wait (the sampling process is unclear).

The history is displayed in reverse chronological order.

    Hello

I'm not saying that it will solve the problem, but you must use XMLCast in this case, not XMLSerialize.

Try also with fn:local - name instead (unless you need information namespace as well):

    Select (xmlcast)

    "for $dcrContent in fn:collection("oradb:/PUBLIC/DATA_CAPTURE_RECORD_CONTENT") / ROW.

    where $dcrContent/DATA_CAPTURE_RECORD_CONTENT_ID = xs:decimal ($id)

    "return fn:local - name($dcrContent/CONTENT_XML/*)"

    from 608 as "id".
