• Rookie (?) Question about establishing a CS5.5 video for a particular specification

  Hey creative peeps!

  I received a specific format that allows to implement a video. I am not entirely new to the evolution of the formats of video, but this ones important enough, so I need to get the right setup. someone would be nice enough to talk me through the set up for the following specifications? I can * little * remember that some of this wount apply until I go to export the video, but I can never be too careful about this!

  Here is a list of the features that I received, that I'll write in exactly how they wrote it. Thank you a lot if you choose to spend the time to talk to me through this. It will be very appreciated!

  The finished video must be compressed in mpeg4 or quicktime (.mov) in the H.264 codec with the following parameters - frame rate: 25 p. image format: 1024 x 576 (SD); rates up to: 2000 Kbps.

  Any help on my initial setup in order to open a new file first and edit the images that I have the correct specification would be appreciated!

  Change the format, that the source material has. You import the source material in the Panel project, right rlick on a clip and select new sequence of the Clip. Then change everything you want and when ready, export to the given format using H.264. Don't choose QuiRcktime H.264.

  Whenever I have run or click on the links to Windows Update to update my workstation at work I usually click the links on the left under the heading Control Panel home.  When I click on it it says "Windows is up-to-date.

  This morning, I clicked on the 'check online for updates from Microsoft Update' and found about 20 updates of security necessary to my machine.  My question is, what is the difference between checking the updates link in the Control Panel Home section and check online for updates from Microsoft Update?

• Question about the Introduction of the video in After Effects

  Hey guys, I'm new to the Forum!

  I want to keep it's short enough for you guys so I'll try to make it as brief as possible. Here's my question/problem:

  In Adobe After Effects CS6, I created an intro for my videos on YouTube using a Premium battlefield model I found on YouTube and made it in a file format video 1080 p H.264 (.mp4) rendered by default "best settings". The introductory video lasts not more than 5 seconds. Having little knowledge of Adobe After Effects, I intend to learn more of the program using it as my default video editing (from Sony Vegas Pro 12) software and I seem to have a little drama.

  For those who regularly put introductions in their videos, I have a question for you.

  When I did a video today with my introduction in place (I had taken the introduction already made and placed in my composition and worked around it), but I noticed that the model I used was only a 1280 x 720 one. Making the resolution a bit distorted and 'big' than usual. My question is, should I render it again the introduction as well as the introductory model or continue to do what I did today is the introduction already rendered and move around?

  Imagine a movement that is only 30 minutes long. Now imagine that the time between the cups about 6 seconds. It's 30 minutes multiplied by 60 seconds divided by 6 seconds. • Question about the quality of the video

  A horse drawn carriage ride won from a client after their marriage. The camcorder settings say that I used to record HD 60i pictures. Import into FCPX, editing and export to DVD, a few images of trees and background looks blurry, has waves inside and looks partially distorted. Exported part of this sequence to Vimeo and it seems perfectly fine.

  Is the distortion due to the HD video quality in SD on DVD or am I missing something else?

  Based on static type errors involving all class objects, it seems you might have misnamed objects, possibly to assign these instance names in the wrong input field of the properties panel.  Instance names must only be entered where it says up in the properties panel.  If you have entered elsewhere in the Panel then try to withdraw from there.

  I have a question about the specific management of some particular set nodes, which are located in different hierarchies within a same version.

  I want to know if there is any editing made to certain properties of these specific nodes or if the nodes are deleted/moved/edited approval to be triggered for the data manager.

  We have an obligation to not allow a node to remove or deleted without the approval of the admin, so I created a Boolean property AllowDelete is false, which is substitutable, default and is available only in a category of property Admin, for which most of the users do not have access.  Then, I created a validation of PropRemove with an error message that tells the user to contact a user admin to remove or delete the node.  The admin can change the AllowDelete to true, then can either remove himself or to allow the user to do.

• A Question about debugging...

  Hi all

  I have a question about debugging - specific probes. Is it possible to link and save the values on a wire (with a probe) which is a loop for the loop counter (or even a secondary value)?

  When I'm debugging code to a state machine that I often more easy to wire to the top of the State and the value, I am interested in a cluster, and then use 'generation antenna' and a registry change to add this element to each loop. I could also do this by indexing just out of the loop too.

  Once execution completes etc that I can look at the table (either using an indicator or a problem) to see what has happened to the value to each State/loop. And often, I know exactly where my code was wrong.

  My question is: is there a way to do this using regular probes without having to build an array? So, for example, I probe a digital wire and get a table of responses rather than just the last value on the wire?

  A discreet (dedicated) video card is not necessary. You can always add more later if you need the extra graphics power. Its not harmful if you perform a task such as photos and videos. Benefits is its great for games top of range and can future proof your system. If you are working in Photoshop, certainly invest in the discrete video card. Photoshop she likes it.

• Question about importing video footage in Premiere Pro

  I'm new to Premiere Pro and have a question about it. I need to move all my videos on my new computer (Windows) from my old computer (iMac running iMovie). Where should I store my images so I can access inside Premiere Pro? I just need to store everything on a hard drive, and then create inside Premiere Pro projects when I need to import images in, or should I create a 'library' to store all my movies in? Setup bridge would be another beneficial way to view my videos (I use Lightroom for my photo library)?   Premiere Pro has no capability of database for the media in general, only in a specific project. 'Import' is not like in Lightroom, it does in PrPro is tell her where to look for the media while working on this specific project.

  What version of Premiere Elements you are using and on what computer operating system is running?
