question about configuration transfer 4402 WLC

Hello world

I am thinking to replace an AIR-WLC4402-25-K9, which runs on the code 4.2.61.0 with an AIR-WLC4402-50-K9 running on 7.0.116.0. Can I back up the configuration of the AIR-WLC4402-25-K9 and restore it on AIR-WLC4402-50-K9? Otherwise, what is the best way to set up the AIR-WLC4402-50-K9? What I have to set it up from scratch?

Thanks for any input.

Robert

Hello

Nope! many new features is different in the code! the best way is to upgrade the WLC 4.2 to atleast 5.2 and more... coz the format of config backup is completely different in the two entities...

Let me know if that answers your question and please do not forget to note the useful messages!

    Hi David,

I want to set different properties for configuration for my maps.

I click with the right button on the map and open the properties of conf Editor.

Some properties of basic as the commot frequency, analyse the sample table etc and what values to predict
These can be understood we receive comments down for each of them...

but for some properties like below... How to understand what is the value to be taken as a beginner in owb?

Could pls you explain or direct me to a document? (I have OWB11g guide to the user.. .not much said about it)

value per 1) default mode of operation... (defined from where baseline)

    (2) enable parallel dml (when to use)

    Use target 3) load order

Group of 4) failure to purge...

    Hello

value per 1) default mode of operation... (defined from where baseline)

Code generation mode is linked to this, OWB can generate different types of codes - simple SQL statements or PLSQL cursor base implementations or same ABAP.
    * Basic game is a single SQL statement or multiple SQL statements.
    * Based line is a loop of cursor with DML (insert, update, merge etc...) in a target. There are scenarios where you need line code in function to process the data in order.

Default mode is the mode that, if you run a card it will run. This argument is in fact a run setting, so you can generate position based and online code base and run one or a combination of them. At a certain threshold of error, you can failover from one mode to the other which was useful for debugging from line based on line level debugging/verification, but given that the logging of DML errors is available generating both modes is less necessary.

    There is a section in the doc here;
    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E11882_01/OWB.112/e10935/ref_maps_processflows.htm#i1130206

    (2) enable parallel dml (when to use)
    For parallel execution
    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E11882_01/OWB.112/e10935/ref_maps_processflows.htm#i1112962

    Use target 3) load order
Load target control is necessary if you had one mapping with for example several targets (T1-> T2) and (T3-> T4) and he had to to the T2 has been loaded before T4, so you will target load command guarantee in a card.

Group of 4) failure to purge...
Is a feature that probably dates back a few versions, not sure what it has but not more... I'll check.

    See you soon

  • Question about the transfer of warranty

I bought a Toshiba Qosmio G10 at the beginning of the year and decided to the 2-year extended warranty provider. But last month, the laptop got stolen.
I just bought a Toshiba G25 with the insurance money. I am able to transfer the warranty or get money from the guarantee, that I bought for the back of the G10?

    Hi Greg

I'm sorry that your laptop is stolen, but I have good news for you :)
You can transfer the old guarantee of your old phone to your new G25.
First, you will need to contact Toshiba that your device was stolen.

Please go to the Toshiba site

  • Comples little question about the transfer product key

I have a HP (SR5518F) computer and origianally comes with vista, I downgraded to xp, but as time passed gradually began to fall so I decided to restore vista but found the restore partition has been broken, not wanting to pay 40 to 50 dollars for the restore disks I just went and borrowed a friends disc reformat It wasn't a full or upgrade, according to me, it was just a restore (a dell one because that's what it says in my computer).

and basically because of this I can not activate with its original product key, but I got an upgrade to windows 7 but I'm sure he checks for activation, it would be possible to activate and or upgrade with this situation?

You cannot use a Dell recovery disk on an HP computer.

Spend the money on the HP recovery disks:

    http://welcome.HP.com/country/us/en/contact_us.html

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

  • Basic configuration of 4402 WLC

I have a WLC4402 attached to the trunk switch port 2950. The switch has 3 VLAN, 300, 400 and 500. Management and AP interfaces are marked on 500. I use a router 2600 on a stick that is also connected to the 2950 through another trunk. The AP Manager and IP address management are 172.16.20.1 and 172.16.20.2. The VLAN switch 2 have an IP subnet 10.10.10.0/24 and 10.10.11.0/24. I can ping to the management interface a PC on each VLAN without problem. As soon as I create a dynamic interface that is mapped to an IP to the VLAN 300 or 400, pings stop, unless I tag dynamic interfaces with 500 VLAN! I suspect it has to do with the VLAN native on the trunk but can't figure out how to get the dynamic interfaces for work.

You want to keep vlan 500. If you then leave without tag your management will be the vlan 1 is not recommended. When you configure the switch (trunk) port to vlan native 500, that means that andy untagged frames will be put on the vlan 500. The interfaces that you create must be referenced...

Configure the interface of management to '0' first of all, then set up the trunk with vlan native 500. then go back and set up the PA - manager without label '0 '.

  • Question about configuration VSA and vCenter

    Hi guys,.

We just received our three new servers which will run a VSA 3 nodes configuration on a remote location.

I am thinking the vCenter Server computer in our office that will be responsible for configuring VSA. What until occur if the vCenter server disconnects (for some reason), it will be still operational?

    Best regards Johan

Failover VSA is completely independent of VSA Manager/VC.  If you lose the VC, the only thing you can't do is to manage the cluster

  • question about data transfer from the computer using LAN network Analyzer

    Hello. I had a problem.

I download the driver of instruments and settings S measured by the Rohde & Schwarz site.

When I started using the measure, the error in the parser to network RSZVB-14 shows that

    «Distance error:-222, "data out of reach,: FREQTAR1»»

In labview, had not any waveform.

    Need your help.

    Zinou

    Hello

If you use RSZVB-14, it has frequency range 10 MHz - 14 GHz. example was written for models that start by 300 kHz.

Just change the Start frequency to 10 MHz

  • Questions about the installation of ColdFusion 9.0.2 version of existing in version 9.0.1

    Hello

I'm currently running ColdFusion 9.0.1 enterprise edition and plan to upgrade to version 9.0.2 version. I understand that this requires uninstalling existing 9.0.1 and perform a new installation of version 9.0.2 version. My concerns are below:

    1. for the installation of the 9.0.2 version the 9.0.2 installer (demo / trial version) must be downloaded and the existing serial number (used in version 9.0.1) can be given during installation to convert it in fully registered mode - please correct me if my interpretation is incorrect here. My question is will the existing serial key (as shown in the page Admin of CF 9.0.1 version version) work with the 9.0.2 version as well?

    2. There are many features that are present in the current 9.0.1 version - for example the sources of data configured in the Admin see Y page there a way I can save these configurations of the existing version and to migrate settings to the new 9.0.2 install, or what I have to do the entire configuration manually after the installation of new? Data sources is something I can think; What other configurations can I save, if such a provision is available?

    3. in the installation of the 9.0.2 version there is a question about "configure the Web server for CF Connector" allows me to add Web/sites Internet servers during installation. If I select "built-in Web server" as the option (so do not configure any Web-site Web server), can I change this and configure Server/site later, after compeleting installation?

What would be the things I need to be careful during this installation to version 9.0.2 from 9.0.1?

    Thank you!

    Arun-

I did a successful version 9.0.2; installation answering my own questions, for the benefit of future development-

    1. Yes. Only the serial number is required (as shown in the Page of the CF Admin of existing facility)

2 configurations (for example: data sources) can be exported. Go to CF Admin Page, click on packaging & deployment, click on Archives of CF. Basically, you export settings as files with the extension archive. car. Once exported from the current installation, it can be imported by clicking on the button deploying car file.

3 server configuration can be modified (Add/Remove) by using the "Web Server Configuration Tool" which is installed by default with CF 9. You can find it under program files (windows OS).

I had some problems during the installation. After installation, the CF Admin page would not be made. Virtually no cfm page don't take charge, because the extension is not known by the IIS (or the server you are using). To set this up, use the "Web Server Config Tool" mentioned above. This launch and activate the check box that is on the rendering cfm pages (forgot the exact name). Once this is done, cfm pages must load. I had to enable this and then do a reinstall but.

  • questions about 2100 wlc and lwap connection

    Hello

I have a few questions, I hope you can answer me.

In fact, I have a controller connected to 3 Lwap 2100, and they are connected to the WCS. they have a static IP address.

The distance between each point of access to more than 30 meters.

    1. the distance between the access points affect the accuracy or the stream. How can I calculate this

    2. because the APs use a static IP address, each customer should I connect to the network to add a static ip address? can I do the APs detect clients dynamically?

I have lwapp reset guide, guide WCS configuration and configuration guide for WLC. If you have more documents or more pls share with me.

    BR

    Yamani

    Hello Ahmed,.

Yes the distance between AP affect the wireless signal.

to determine the best location of AP and the distance between them, as the site survey is necessary with the expert of the spectrum wireless or airmagnat...

You can check the following links for design and RF management

    1) http://tools.cisco.com/squish/1Ea09

    2) http://tools.cisco.com/squish/51a58

for other questions about DHCP, it is not a must that customer use static IP, you can always configure them with DHCP.

as an extenal DHCP (like windows server), or on the WLC himself (to the title of controller-> > internal DHCP tab).

    Kind regards

    Talal

  • Question about KB 2033173 - SNMP configuration

Hi guys, I have a question about KB 2033173. It is said

below is an example of the host SNMP Configuration profile:

    Port 161

    Community

    Community 10.0.0.1@0 receiver

    [...]

Please note that the recipient's address contains a space, not a "/" as input to the command line.

I wonder why the "10.0.0.1@0"? I think it should be "10.0.0.1@161" because the port number is 161. Thank you.

Yes, you are correct and also keep in mind that there is a lot of difference with the SNMP agent without traps (use the port UDP/161) and SNMP agent with traps (use port UDP/162).

    Hi, I need a question:

I had a wlc 4404 with the latest code (6.0.196.0) and many 1242ag accesspoint attached to it.

So, what is the maximum active SSID I can publish with this equipmen?

I think 16 but I'm not absolutely sure. If someone could confirm it?

Connecting the access point 1142 could increase this llimitation?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Questions about an average of response spectrum and frequency of feeding mode.

    Hello

I have a few questions about an average of mode. When I generate a sinusoidal signal from one output to two input channels channel to see if my DAQ card works well and vector averaged in the power spectrum for DFT, the amplitudes was different from the previous one of the amplitude, which was supposed to be 1 v peak. They range from 0.5 v to 0.6 v peak. When the calculation of the average model is RMS, the amplitudes were close to 1. I wonder what are the fomulas of RMS and average vector. Does that mean that I could not accurate if I use an average of vector? In a time of frequency response, why I coherences of difference and the amplitudes using the vector and the mean quadratic value?

    Thank you

    Ningyu

    rico1985,

The differences in modes of generation are as they sound: 1 sample output only a sample writing, N samples will be released however many samples configure you for each entry, and the continuous samples released samples continuously until a specified user action happens (you press the stop button or a logic that you created gets fulfulled). The range of Signal output allows you to set a ceiling high and low level of your output signal and it only affects the quality keeping in this beach. Timing to set a deadline for the time between the acquisition of the sample. If a new sample becomes unavailable before the timeout setting, you will get an error. This is useful for looking at a network, because if the network goes down and you stop getting data from a machine and then you would like to know about it. I point you to those videos that are short tutorials on how to make the most of these actions in SignalExpress. The SignalExpress 3.0 Help file is also your first point of contact for all your questions on getting started. These two resources should get you up and running in SignalExpress in no time. (either by the way all your questions answered using these resources) Bravo!

  • Question about OWA scripts - how much time do need to run or not at all

Just a question about OWA on Exchange 2010 scripts. I have a site and unique Exchange Server. I noticed that we have a powershell script scheduled in the Task Scheduler running daily that defines all the mailbox OWA strategy. This policy is defined in the EMC access client/organizational Configuration (EMC) tab.

My question is... If the policy is already configured in the access client/organizational Configuration tab, should this powershell script run at all?  Not all new users get this strategy by default (since we have only one policy OWA) If you enable Outlook Web access on the mailbox of the user in the appearance of the mailbox tab?  My thought is that the powershell script and the calendar was just a postponement of the old Exchange 2003 for strategies for the OWA...

  • Question about the issue of the Double NAT...

Hah I posted for a little.  I have a question about Double NAT.  Is it wise to launch?  Reason why is that I have a WRT54G v6 router and the Zoom ADSL X 4 Modem/Router/gateway and it seems that sites take just a little more time to respond to Web sites.  I just want to know I have to turn off (i.e., go in with my router bridge Mode) or what.  Or leave it alone.  Now one last thing: that the problem of slow could actually be AT & T but I have the feeling that this isn't.

What configuration options you have on the Zyxel to fill? What have you tried exactly?

The basis for the first option is:

    * Bridged Zyxel.

    * Linksys configured for PPPoE with your user name and password for the internet connection.

Instructions to fill the Zyxel are here or here depending on the exact model of Zyxel.

    The second option is:

    * Zyxel doing business as the router. I assume here that the Zyxel is on 10.0.0.2 with a subnet mask 255.255.255.0.

Unplug the Linksys to the Zyxel. Connect a computer to the Linksys. Open the web interface of the WRT to http://192.168.1.1/

    On the main Setup page:

    1. change the LAN IP of 192.168.1.1 address 10.0.0.1.

    2 disable the DHCP server.

    3. save the settings. You will lose the connection. Unplug the computer.

    4. wire one of the numbered LAN ports of the Linksys for the Zyxel. Do not use the internet port of Linksys!

Now you should be able to open the Linksys web interface to http://10.0.0.1/ all devices connected wireless of Linksys or connected to one of the three LAN ports must have a connection to the internet via the Zyxel.
