Question about fluid layouts

Hello. I want to do a fluid layout for the site, I've been working at this time. I know that the basic concepts of how focus an object and to maintain, or how paste a shape to the top or bottom... etc. But if there is a clip I want to retain his position proportionally the visitor resizes the scene, how can I do?

It there is a choice of layout as Edge 95?

My opinion of close end site is not in the page layout and I go through a document to the administrator, apparently not metion on selection of layout on several sites.

C60 is capable of having a provision such as "4-split' 95 edge?

  • Question about compression in essbase ASO

I have a few questions about to define a dimension of compression in Essbase ASO apps:-

    1. is it a good idea to have the size of compressor in app Essbase ASO.

    2. I read somewhere that said it would not be good idea to have the compression period dimension where months YTD neighbourhoods and quarters of the year. So should we put compression on any other dimension dynamic calc and roll ups and have less none of level 0 members stored.

    3. I have observed that when we level 0 export from an ASO application with compressed size vs ASO application with no compressed dimension, there is a difference in size of data export file. I'm not able to understand why it is so. I understand the difference between the size of data (.dat file) between Tablet app vs app uncompressed file, but do not understand the difference when the data is exported to a .txt file.

    Thank you

    (1) compression dimension is not mandatory, but it contributes to the performance. The compression dimension is a dynamic dimension. We need the column headers in a data load file. Ideal compression is achieved if the number of leaf-level members are divisible by 16.

    (2) ASO tuning is an art as much as a science.  The best choice depends on the distribution of data in the database.  and it's different in each database.  Read all the information and then test the various options.  Try it with time as the compression and then try with the next best dynamic dimension defined as dimension of compression.  I've linked a doc tuning which is version 7, but has a very detailed discussion of the dimensions of compression.

    http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bi-Foundation/4822-tuning-Essbase-ASO-WP-133014.PDF

    (3) the format of the header (layout) of the export may be different when you use compression vs when you are not using compression.  It will certainly be different if you use another dimension for compression.  I expect the size of the file to edit when the compression setting is changed.

  • Very simple questions about DPS

I have a few questions about the tools and DPS.

    1. What is the difference between Folio and DPS Article?

I think that the two format have a fixed layout. I don't understand difference and the merit of the Article of DPS.

I want to know why the Folio was disappear and replace by Article of DPS.

    2. I want to know that all publish root of DPS. (ex.) App Store for iOS, Google android game and..)

I know that I can make the app, iOS, Android, and windows for each stores with DPS.

If I want to publish to the Kindle store, iBooks store, store kiosk to newspapers or on the Web site, I don't need using DPS?

3 if I want to book recomposable (like reactive Web site), I shouldn't use InDesign?

Is there a process for making recomposable document with InDesign?

can I use text editor, DW or muse? (such as the manufacture of the normal site)

I want to know the standard method book recomposable.

    Sorry for my bad English.

    1. I know you probably talk format but essentially, a DPS classic folio is now a collection, the items in the collections are always content

2 - iOS, Android and Windows platforms that you can publish on are

-We do not support the Kindle store

-For book content type, you want to use the ePub format, please see the following links:

3 - InDesign has the ability to create recomposable ePub

  • Dreamweaver cs6 - fluid layouts

    Hello.

I have a question about the images. I don't know that the main problem is that I don't know what I really wonder. Here goes...

I'm doing a mobile website of the environment.  I have an image to put on each screen. The image is long 550px. It goes in the center of the screen. The size is correct for the Tablet and wallpapers, but must shrink to the mobile screen.

I tried various codes, and I managed to get the image to reduce 100% of the mobile layout. The problem is while it remains 100% screen Tablet and desktop - too much.

I need a way to reduce the image to fit the screen mobile but stay 550px for other screens. I don't know there is a simple way of this operation that I forgot.

    I hope someone can help!

    Andy

When you use images in delicate design, you need to delete the attributes width and height of the img src tag.

Then make you sensitive by adding to your css styles:

    IMG {}

    Max-width: 100%;

    height: auto;

    }

(Above) are supposed to be the braces, but l can not find the guys on this tablet keyboard

The braces edited: just so forget the above.

  • A question about type

Okay, at the risk of exposing me like a complete jerk, I need to ask a question about type.

I use Fireworks CS4 to design a website of 40 to 50 pages. Most of the site is composed of ten stories, each taking two to five pages of the site. I use ghraphic and pictures to break up the grey type and illustrate the words. I anticipate using 14pt Arial for my policy. The text will be displayed on a 'unique' (that is to say, not repetitive) texture.

I put on my pages with photos and other graphics, and I glued the type of original stories around the images. (I don't use Lorem ipsum for text space booked because I wanted an accurate measure of the screw-the-page notice words.) In other words, I wanted to be sure that everything fit and don't let no troublesome space at the end).

I know that I do not export the type with images in Dreamweaver. I'll remove the text in Fireworks when I export, then paste it in Dreamweaver so that the pages appear as I have originally designed the.

However, my question is this: If a reader opens one of my pages with his default computer to, say, 12pt Verdana, if it screws up the layout of my page? As I said above, I have designed the pages at Arial 14 pt. If the type will flip off my pages - or type will inches less on a page - if the Player browser is set to a different font size or point? If Yes, what can I do to make my pages (or contraction) to adjust the reader his reading preferences?

Thanks again for your help. Of course happy that I do not use my real name on it.

When you write the HTML code, you place the images next to the paragraphs they are associated if the police or the window changes size, then the whole of the document is redéroule, but logically, everything to its planned place. This can be frustrating for people who are used to define exactly where the images appear with respect to the text and even kerning and spacing to make a line "so." You will have awkward gaps somewhere, let it go... let the way you free from this concern.

Everything is in a box, however. In this box, you can put images repetitive or expandable. So yes, you can put a background behind the text, no repetitive image on each of your pages and you should be able to set the box so that duplication of the background image will not appear if it is larger than the active area. (I think it would be in the CSS overflow divs property... you'd have to check).

Here are some tutorials using broad, non-repetitive background images for the page. You could adapt the technique to a content div:

    http://Line25.com/tutorials/basic-Web-page-background-techniques-with-CSS (scroll down)

    http://www.WebDesignerWall.com/tutorials/how-to-CSS-large-background/

On the other hand, however, lines of text that are more than 2 to 2.5 wide alphabets are difficult to analyze. If your site is intended to be text-heavy, you might be better off with a fixed width for your text box.

I think that the comment the blogger relates using Fireworks Slicing page to export HTML code, which gives you a fixed design, based on a table. The HTML code, you can export FW is not for live sites. It's just for prototyping. It is better to use CSS for layout, rather than tables, because the code is easier to maintain. I came across this interesting tutorial (the author uses Photoshop, but any graphic program works if you want to follow along):

    http://NET.tutsplus.com/tutorials/HTML-CSS-techniques/design-and-code-your-first-website-i n-easy-to-understand-steps.

  • question about technique

    Hello

Have a question about the best way to create a document.

I make a menu for a small restrauant.  He wants to do on 8 1/2 x 11 and trifolded.

    Q. will it be a problem if I have created six 8 1/2 x 11 documents and then place each one of six in the correct Panel documentation in the doc of trifolded (and do a fitting > content to adapt the framework to scale?)

Now, you may be wondering why would I not only work on the three himself and forget the 6 docs.  Well, it seems just easier to work on something that I can see and easily managed without having to constantly zoom (as I would on the Trifolded 8 1/2 x 11 doc).  Then, just take one place and fitting for the great doc in the right panel of the portfolios in three sides.

In addition, there a chance that he may want to go with the pages of 8 1/2 x 11 and forget the smaller print trifold.

Anyway, I would appreciate your comments.

    Bob

I see no problem with the creation of six separate documents and placing them in every panel of the 8.5 X 11 trifold. As long as each placed the document is created with the same size as a 1/3 to three components Panel. And I don't know it is not an international consortium of creating document evil overlords who will expose you to do.

However since you asked to talk technical, it would be considered a little on the non-standard side if sent to a printer. It could even be seen as hackney and amateur, but not too many print shops will tell you that because you pay for your print job.

However, this is not the place to pick up emotion a back rub for how to create a file. You would be better served by making the complete document (one document) and learning of the rapid means of keyboard shortcuts to navigate through the document. Using the space bar to activate the tool hand for the panorama, using the SPACEBAR and the command key together to bring up the zoom tool, by adding a shift of this combo to zoom back. These techniques can be very fluid navigation and eliminates the unnecessary task to create 7 documents where there should be only one. After a few days of repeated use these key combos should seem like second nature, and you'll wonder how you did without them before.

  • Many questions about the HP 50 g

I just ordered a HP 50 g graphic calculator! I have a few questions about this so hang on tight! What is the USB connector on the calculator? Mini-USB, micro USB, or is it a connector owner, "custom". Then, it would be possible to connect a keyboard to the HP 50 g by using the USB Port? Is there a program that would make this possible? (I doubt it would work if you plug it..) I have a Mini-USB to female USB 2.0 connector. So I could just plug the keyboard right, provided that the port on the calculator is a Mini-USB Port. If this is not so that I could use my female to female USB adaptor to connect the keyboard.

  • Question about warranty after exchanges of RAM on Satellite module series

    Hello together,

I have a question about the warranty. My laptop is 5 months old and now I want to improve it with more RAM. I want to do it myself, and now I'm wondering if the warranty will be getting hurt.
Thanks in advance for your answers.

    Concerning

    TiG3r

For new models of laptops the RAM upgrade described in s operating manuals. It is public act and it shows the owner of the notebook how do RAM upgrade only.

If Toshiba offers something like this he won't have the negative influence of valid warranty.
Buy a compatible module and RAM upgrade.

    Bye and good luck!

  • A few quick questions about the Satellite P300 - 18 M

    Hello

I am about to order a Satellite P300 - 18 M and have just a few questions about this:

(Although these may apply for other similar Satellite/Equium P300.)

Is the touchpad made by / to use the Alps or Synaptics driver?

It has the Wireless N network card, is the map made by Intel or Realtec?

And also, someone has experience with face recognition software to connect?

If so, does it take a lot of time to initalise?

    Thanks in advance,
    Jack

    Hello

The P300 - 18M belongs to the PSPCCE series.
It uses the two touchpad drivers. Synaptics & Alps Electric
There is an Intel 802.11agn minicards WLan installed

The face recognition is a nice tool but local to be illuminated and you must take your face the right of the post sometimes it of not very easy

But if you face is recognized correctly that the connection should work properly

    See you soon

  • Questions about nb200

I recently bought a mini nb200 with windows 7 and I have a few questions about it. How can you set up your email, I was willing to put up with Outlook Express, but I don't know if I can. Also, is there a way to get a paper copy of the user manual?

You can download and install a new e-mail program when you download Windows Live via Microsoft Update. You can select the components of Windows Live, you want to include by checking a box for each you want. I installed all the. Or you can use Outlook, if you have Microsoft Office and you want to install it.

  • A few questions about the difference between the Satellite P70, L70, S70

    Hello, I have a lot of questions about the P70, L70, S70 series that come with a 1920 x 1080 panel.

    (1) what are the differences between the L70 and S70 series? With the exception of the RAM and HARD drive capacity, books seem pretty identical.

    (2) P70, L70, S70 doesn't support a 2nd HARD drive or it's just the P70 series that support?

    (3) all the three (P70, L70, S70 series) come with the same TFT panels?

    (4) of the above series, which supports mSata?

    (5) all the model of each series are delivered with support from mSata? For example, it could be that L70 - a - 13 m supports mSata is not the case of the L70-a-146?

    (6) all the foregoing, are delivered with a S - ATA II or III S - ATA interface?

    (7) who is the best of these series listed? I'm trying to understand what makes the big difference of S70 to P70 except for the envelope for example.

    Thank you in advance.

    > (1) what are the differences between the series L70 and S70? With the exception of the RAM and HARD drive capacity, books seem pretty identical.

What models Sat L70 and S70 do you mean exactly? There are different L70-xxx-xxx and S70 models on the market that supports different hardware specifications.

    (> S70 2) P70, L70, support a 2nd drive HARD or is - it just the series P70 that support?
As you can see in this [Sam P70 HDD replacement document, | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/CRU3903II0000R01.htm] the P70 series supports the 2nd drive Bay HARD, BUT even if there is a 2nd HARD drive Bay, this does not mean that you can use the 2nd HARD drive. In the case where the 2nd HARD drive Bay are equipped with HARD drive connector, you can use the 2nd HARD drive

I also found the [Sam L70/S70 HDD replacement | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/CRU3703HG0000R01.htm] the document on the Toshiba page and there I see this 2nd HARD drive Bay is not available

(> 3) all three (P70, L70, S70 series) come with the same TFT panels?
See point 1). Different P70, L70, S70 models were equipped with different material parts.

(> 4) of the series above, which takes in charge mSata?
As far as I know that some P70 models are equipped with an mSATA SSD of 256 GB.

(> 5) do all the model of each series are delivered with support mSata? For example, it could be that L70 - a - 13 m supports mSata is not the case of the L70-a-146?
See point 4) not all models supports the same hardware specifications

(> 6) all of the above, come with a S - ATA II or III S - ATA interface?
I don t think that SATA III is supported. I guess it would be SATA II

(> 7) which is the best of these series listed? I'm trying to understand what makes the big difference of S70 to P70 except for the envelope for example.
Not easy to answer because there are too many models released in Europea.
And not all models are available in each country. So I guess you will have to look for the models that have been released in your country.
