question about generated an offline source SQL server 2008 given by Oracle SQL developer
Hi friends,
I followed the tutor to the migration of a database server Microsoft SQL to Oracle Database 11 g by Developer sql Version 3.2.20.10 in the window.
I can migrate the code examples in the oracle database. The code example has two file: Capture and data. Under the folder data, there are two parts. one is designated as folder under oracle and rest is data add log files.
When I migrated my database of sql server 2008 in oracle 11. I can objects only sql migrated to oracle but failed to load data during data file missing.
In the past reviewed in the output directory, I see a lot of ctl files under the folder datamove and generate the file. But I am not able to find any file data in support of ctl codes
The code file as ctl example
load data
INFILE 'data/dbo_test.sale.dat '.
"str"< EORD >"
in the /dbo_test.sale.SALE table
----
Because of missing data, data loading works, file but not the data in the migrated tables.
Recode displayed

Please help me where I lost in migration processing.so I can generate a data during the migration file
Thank you

Use SQl developer offers 2 options to move the data, online and offline data movement. When you call the batch file to load data offline you must also make sure that you collected the data first to the SQL server side using the data to extract batch files that create the DAT files with the content. The content is written in flat files using the file unload_scripts.bat-online check if you have this kind of file, and then copy the entire script to SQL Server folder, and run the script of unloading it.
It will create the dat files that you will then need to load the data into the Oracle database.

Questions about versions of Windows for SQL and vcenter server operating system
Can anyone provide information on versions of the OS. Here's what we're looking to add:
1 SQL server 2005 with service pack 2 or sql server 2008. What version of Windows it resides on? Windows 2003? 2008?
2 Vcenter. What version of windows? Windows 2003? 2008?
I looked through my books and no luck.
Thank you

Auto generate Group By in SQL Developer
In SQL Developer 4.0.1.14, the option to disable "Autogenerate Group By" has DISAPPEARED from the option page 'insight to completion. " (Preferences, Code Editor, completion Insight). I am a teacher of a class in which we do different things with group who go beyond what makes automatic generation. How can I disable this feature? When I installed on my laptop, I imported the settings of 3.2, and is not automatically generate. It is not available to students who have just downloaded SQL Dev 4. And I can't turn it back on to find a way around it. Is there a solution?
The autogenerate value bit is actually no more. It is now group, on request.
It relates to the analysis of information advice semantic - if you put that supply advice to add group over will not appear.
I'm talking about this new feature a little here.

Server 2008 r2 sp1 oracle customer 10.2.0.100
We strive to set up a build server to connect to our 11g R1 working linux node 4 standard base RAC database.
With the installation of the client 10.2.0.100 that we can communicate with .net, sqlplus and us applications are able to successfully tnsping.
Problem is our VB6 oo4o application will not connect.
Strange thing is on another Server 2008 r2, like we don't have this problem.
I tried.
opening perms on the C:\oracle folder and its children
set TNS_ADMIN, ORACLE_HOME, ORACLE_BASE environment variables and a few others in desperation
I confirmed the registry settings
I compared this Oracle c:\windows\assembly and GAC Policy.Oracle entries match between server problem and working server
I confirmed that the tnsnames.ora file matches the version of servers work
I've implemented the sqlnet.ora to collect more information, is most of the time not Digest by my brain, and I hope that someone can look at the results and point me in the right direction.

The sqlnet trace snippet you provided shows quite clearly that the application tries to connect via inheritance.

How to disable the product key Windows Server 2008 R2 on Oracle Virtual Box?
Original title: disable the windows server 2008 r2 key
I have oracle VM and activated windows server 2008 r2 on a virtual machine. I just VMware workstation God 9 and I would like to reactivate in a VMware virtual machine. How can I disable the key so that it can be reactivated?
Click Start, type: CMD
Right-click on CMD
Click on run as administrator
At the command prompt, type: slmgr.vbs - upkPress enter, this will uninstall the product key of the computer and to the evaluation mode, you are now free to use it on another computer. If you experience problems, try to activate by phone:
Activate Windows 7 manually:
1. click on start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 42. press enter on your keyboard
3. Select your country.
4. Select the telephone activation option and brace yourself for a real person. -
Questions about the location of the VirtualCenter Server
Hello
We tested VMware for about 6 months now and we're finally ready to go into production. We currently have 2 data centers and we start in the small office. Not sure if the WAN speed connection between the, but it's enough through the Cisco CallManager.
My question is that Dell says that we only on the VirtualCenter (vCenter Server) server on our main site. I understand that VirtualCenter can monitor up to 200 guests ESX (with VC 2.5 which we are currently running). I was wondering just is a common practice that most of the people do, just 1 VirtualCenter Server? I was just worried about latency when creating virtual machines, scan LUNs, etc..
In addition, we would carry out a VCB server on the 2nd site with the ESX hosts. Is it still viable to have the VirtualCenter 1 server at a remote site?
Basically, I just need something contrete for management. The only thing that I could find VMware came from my binder of class who said: "the bandwidth required for communications between the Virtual Center Server and the host is very small."
Thanks for your help.
You can check "proven practice: ROBO - ESX hosts on the WAN with VirtualCenter remote management"

Question about the listener and the process server in dedicated server mode
Hello
The Oracle documentation says that, when a client connection request is received on the server, the receiver creates a process server who will work with the database instance to perform the tasks requested by the user/client process. So far, everything was good.
Now, when the user is on the Oracle himself server, the listener didn't need to run to establish a connection to the database. Therefore, it is possible to stop the Listener and not always connect using sqlplus and a valid username and password.
In the case above, the question is: if the listener does not work, what/who created the process server that communicates with the instance of the database on behalf of the user? In other words, in the normal case, the listener could get the request and create the server process. When the listener does not work what part of the Oracle Gets the requests and creates the server process?
Clarification on how this case is handled are very much appreciated, thank you,

John,
I guess that you have asked the same thing in a different form in another thread. In the case, when the process of the user and the server is to be on the same side, the communication done by using the Protocol bequeth and the user, since it is not not going to use a (@) sign, he would use a default service for connected sys$ users .

Hello!
Sir, I have a few questions about generating word reports using (C language in labwindows) please.
1. How can I add a border to a page in word?
2. How do I add border lines and grid to a table generated in Word report (not "cvi control table"inserted from gui, I wonder about the table generated in Word report)?
3. How can I fill a table cell of report word with the data type other than 'character '.
And sir a question on the use of the timer in labwindows cvi please.
Sir, I'm trying to set a time minimum interval timer to 1millisecond (0.001 s), that I have set, timer cares about the interval set by me he only meets the minimum default time interval which is, I think as 10milliseconds (I'm using windows xp service Pack 3 version 2002).

Have you read this statement ? It explains how to set the registry value:
If the REG_SZ useDefaultTimer does not already exist, you must create it under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\National Instruments\CVI Run-Time Engine\cvirte. "" This can be done navigate to the appropriate folder, and then click Edit "New" string value. Then, click on means the name of the new value created, select Rename, and then specify useDefaultTimer as the name. Finally, double click on the name and specify the value True or False.

Failed to connect to the user when it connects to SQL Server 2008 R2 gateway
Hi - This is my first post!
I have problems to connect to a SQL Server 2008 R2 to Oracle database 11 g R2 database, use the product of the gateway.
Previously, he has worked, but we moved the database SQL 2005 to 2008 (R2).
We receive this error while trying to query through the link (Select * FROM DUAL@ADSRD)
ORA-01017: name of user and password invalid. connection refused
[Oracle] [ODBC SQL Server driver] [SQL Server] Failed to connect to the user 'SQLUSER '. {NativeErr 28000, = 18456} [Oracle] [ODBC SQL Server driver] Invalid connection string attribute {01 S 00}
ORA-02063: preceding 2 lines of ADSRD
01017 00000 - "invalid username/password; connection refused '.
* Cause:
* Action:
Error on line: 1 column: 35
The DG4MSQL configuration is here:
HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO = //SSU_PRD_APP/IntegrationStagingDb [BSYS-sql2]
HS_FDS_TRACE_LEVEL = OFF
HD_TRANSACTION_MODEL = READ_ONLY
#HS_FDS_DELAYED_OPEN = FALSE
HS_FDS_FETCH_ROWS = 100
HS_OPEN_CURSORS = 50
The database is hosted in its own instance on the sql2-BSYS Server
Then... on the SQL Server event logs returns this:
Failed to connect to the user 'SQLUSER '. Reason: Failed to try to connect using SQL authentication. Server is configured for Windows authentication only. [CLIENT: 192.168.10.179]
However, the SQL Instance IS configured to enable mixed mode authentication.
I can't work on what I missed, and I can confirm if I'm actually to a compatibility issue between the gateway and the version of SQL server, that we are now trying to connect.
Help please!
Is the user name in your SQL Server database in the capital, mixed mode letters or small letters?
Currently, you have created a database link that tries to authenticate on the server SQL using SQLUSER in capital letters. If you use mixed or small letters, so be sure to write the user name (and password) as it is in the create database link statement and surround it with double quotes.
If you have created the link of database correctly, try an ODBC connection for example from your client and add the user name and password. Does it work?
