  Hello

  Something that was annoying me greatly is the style of grid and the bottom of the document (not the actual work plan or the canvas, I mean the application background) in the work plan 'mode '. If you select a predefined based work plan (like the web 1920 x 1080) switches the document to the mode of work plans, it seems. That means that you have a completely different style of the grid (an a terrible, because the lines are much thicker than they should be) and also if you have selected a background color personalized for photoshop, it is more gets respected. See the example below.

  Keeping in mind I use windows. I don't know if that makes a difference here.

  

  What gives? Since I use a grid for most of my work, it makes the work plans unusable for me.

  Hi Digitalartist,

  This will not affect performance, but it can change the default value of Photoshop CS3.

  In bridge for file associations, you can check if the extensions such as JPEG, PSD etc files have Photoshop selected CC.

  Also check the program by default for images if you directly open images with Photoshop.

  If I understand correctly you have a performance issue with your computer and the Internet.

  2. what version of Internet Explorer you are using, if you are using Internet Explorer?
  3. is it limited while accessing a particular application?

  I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

• Restoration of the catalogs on a new computer and the version of Photoshop Elements

  I have Photoshop Elements 8 and first Elements 8 installed on my computer. The operating system is Windows 7 64-bit.

  I have a problem not solved with print JPEG images in Photoshop Elements 8. If I do not adjust the date in the file image before I print crashes of Photoshop Element. I have no problem with Premiere Elements. I have no problem printing JPEG images, which is open a RAW Edition. No time adjustment is necessary in this case.

  This isn't a question about the printing problem on which I gave a solution. However, thanks to all that gave some ideas, however.

  I tried everything, including asking for help on the forum of Adobe, but without success. I decided on a drastic measure. I'll remove Photoshop Elements 8 from my computer, but not first Elements 8 and delete all images in photo of the computer also. I backed everything up. I hope that should leave me with a computer on which no trace of Photoshop Elements 8 or my photos. Then I'll install 10 items and restore my catalogues from my backup. I hope that let the printing problem.

  Here's my question.

  When I restore my Photoshop Elements 10 catalogs this procedure will restore not only my images, but also my albums and tags etc that I had created in version 8?

  Make sure you use PSE8 backup function to save your photos and catalog.

  When you reach the point of having PSE10 to restore from your backup, you will have the opportunity to tell PSE where to put the pictures in incoming.  You will also see your albums & tags, because they are stored in the catalog (database) which is restored.

  I created a group of Photoshop using Extension Builder 1.5, the Panel works perfectly in the window, but when I switch to Mac, broken things. I found the SDK on Mac is unable to me the Document.fullName when I open an image file in the formats JPG/GIF/PNG, event with the workaround provided by Bob (tml http://cookbooks.adobe.com/post_Creative_Suite_Extensions_and_the_Photoshop_CS5_Re-17727.h( )

  Actually, it is not question of Photoshop event, is open a JPG of my disk image, click a button in my Panel that will get the activeDocument, then try to get the object File from it, the Document.fullName always null. However, if I open the image in the Photoshop folder installed, it looks very good.

  I took the project I have included in my response to your other thread and changed it so that I can open a file, click a button and see the contents of app.activeDocument in the debugger. Then I open a JPG file and debugged to the extension in Photoshop.

  No problem at this end.

  PS Feel free to send me an e-mail asking questions of system if you think it might help. I am running vista Home premium and have just installed vista service pack 2 for Microsoft update. I believe the problem started about 4-5 days ago when the update and the update for windows defender came around.

• Why the debth bit of my different raw file image in my camera, Brigde and the opening in Photoshop?

  I have a full frame Nikon D700 12 megapixel camera that has a depth of 12 to 14 bits. I used to shoot images with the file format raw Nikon (NEF) with the parameter of color space to Adobe RGB (1998). When I select a picture to view the details of the metadata in Adobe Bridge, the number of bits is indicated as 16 and color as RGB. Open the image in Photoshop displays the detail long and narrow line down the near the bottom of the screen. It indicates that the color is 8 bits but still Adobe RGB (1998).

  Can someone explain please these fluctuations? It's always a NEF file, I want to talk to.

  With Camera Raw open, you must set the color space and depth of Bit to open like in Photoshop. See image:

  

  Edit: In addition, a raw file contains raw data - no color profile embedded. At least is not all programs, with the exception of Nikon, will recognize.

• CS5 update after DW8 - questions of images and the jump site

  Hi, I hope you can help me as I have been on it now for two days in a row.

  I recently started using CS5 for the design of my sites and I really like it, I already used DW8 and had no problem with it, but wanted to deal with changes so the upgrade.

  My problems started when I started to download my site, in the first instance that a space began to appear after the pictures folder? and the images have all broken, I finally corrected this problem.

  I have written code that turns the page of cover image each time there is an update, and this file of code/does not seem to download on the web, so no image is not showing or rotation.

  Also, my new site keep jump a bit, I used the same pattern on another site and it works very well, built in DW8, but now this new site with the same model causing me so many questions and im wondering if it was money well spent

  I would like to know how to solve these problems and how to prevent what is happening in the future?

  I have a display problem with framesets.  In my projects, I've created several sets of frames with 2 images in topic, 30% on the left, 70% on the right.

  In settings of WebHelp, I chose "connection pane, see Navigation in the topics.  The problem is that it adds a link 'Show' on each side of the frame, and when they are clicked on, it translates into 4 frames being created, with 2 separate navigation images.

  Is there a way to solve this problem, so that managers keep crack whenever I click a link?

  I can understand why you don't like it, but it is certainly logical. The idea of iFrames is that you can show what you love and the two functions independently. You have chosen to view the two areas of assistance, but the iFrame will not worry if that's what you are showing or a page of Ferraris and a Mercedes-Benz cars. Everything you click on will work within this framework.

  In your case by clicking on view is meant that complete help opens in this context for the subject and complete help for the framework of other shows when you click on the link to see the second. You look at still only two iFrames. Until you click on display, each of them show the subject only. Subsequently, they show the section and the nav pane.

  I am a representative of a company involved in the production of educational material. We are currently doing books, videos, Web sites and mobile applications.  We have a few questions and a quick response will be a great help for us. 1. If we agree with Adobe CC, can we use the bundled font Myriad Pro for commercial purposes specifically in the production of books, Web sites, mobile applications, videos and as well our company logo? 2. If in the case, we are not allowed to use Myriad Pro, can you please list the situations (or cases) in which we are not allowed to use this font. 3. is it possible to buy a license for situations that mention you in number 2? (We are strongly interested in using Myriad Pro, especially in the realization of the Web site) 4. we intend to use the Myriad Pro in the subtitles of our video clips, but our situation is that we will not make a separate file, but rather, let's do static image in the video. • Firefox 10 - installed and the performance is very slow, unresponsive while trying to load websites.

  Just noticed the other day on my server and it could have been thought Nvidia driver. Update that and same result with Firefox very slow in delay/performance while making the web pages? Downgraded to Firefox 9.0 and problem solved. Return to previous performance levels.

  Just received and installed the update for Firefox worm 10.02 and voila... all the symptoms of the problems I had been able to correct themselves? Always curious what the issue was with my install in Server 2008? Have the latest Firefox installed in Fedora 16-64 bit and works without a problem. I have dual boot this machine between the two O/S once again, thanks to all who offered suggestions or advice about my problems.
