• Merger of Gradient shapes into single object

  I have 2 forms square on my artborad.  each square has its own background gradient.  I want to merge these 2 forms to a single form.  not a group of shapes, but a single, flattened object (complicated?).

  the gradient of the first place includes a zero-alpha.  the second image is simply two forms in layers, but I mainly want to flatten it to form a single shape.

  You cannot merge forms.

  What you can do is to draw a new shape and apply to multiple fills via the appearance Panel and set each fill either the desired slope.

• Failed to get the objects displayed in the 3d element when I select the form replicator > 3D object

  I was watching a tutorial on how to use the replicator forms to make a 3d object outside slot a particular form. I selects two primitive shapes and set one on the table Replicator and other particles of the atom. When I open my scene and change my form replicator 3D object disappear all my forms. I couldn't find anything on the internet about this problem yet and this is the only mistake (if it is not a user error) that I have ever met in the 3d element. Thanks in advance.

• I can only change the appearance of an object in a group that has only a single object?

  Hello, I am not sure if the delivered good thread title. I'm using CS5

  When I click on an object in a group containing only this object, tap gives appearance of the group. I can't select the object when the Group has only a single object.

  So if I want to change the subject, I must dissociate or add additional objects in the group. Is there an easier way?

  Open the Panel layers and expand the group. Then select the single object you want to change by clicking the circle next to the name of object (also called as meatballing the object). One time selected, open the appearance Panel and apply with any necessary modifications, and then save. In this case, you would not still ungroup the objects.

  Is there a way to do this in a single object, but keeping the white line that separates the cherry and the stem? The stem has a stroke, the icing is not. • Combining separate text into single object...

  I remember in older versions of Illustrator that when you used pathfinder to combine several objects into a single object... it actually made into a single object, regardless of the weather or not, they where cutting.

  With versions more recent Illustrator, when you try to 'unit' objects pathfinder... the only ones that are actually combined into a single object are those that overlap... whatever it is separate is simply "bundled" and remains a totally separate object... even if you use "expand objects" on the group.

  I try to use a third-party program (styler path) and the problem that I am running is when I apply a stroke effect to styler path, he treats each letter in my title as a separate object (even if United for pathfinder), causing the lines overlap the previous letter.

  

  What I want to do is to combine all the letters into a single object (while still leaving space between each letter) so that the styler way treats the text (and edges) correctly. (Thus contours run in the other, instead of overlapping of the filling.)

  Any help would be appreciated... This should be simple... but I think it may be a case of the program trying to preserve the history of objects 'United' when I don't want it.

  Is it possible to create a form in the object Styles I can create in InDesign? I know that I can attribute some qualities, but I would like to create a capsule form that will be repeated throughout a page of lists in our sites.

  This is how it works?

  The childSnapshotList of a VirtualMachineSnapshotTree proporty will contain the snapshot root object that is her child as these pictures of children are inturn recursive in nature. So, you get the entire list of all snapshots in a single object of VirtualMachineSnapshotTree. You will need to retrieve the property childSnapshotList of each child (VirtualMachineSnapshotTree) and check if it has any other child. If so, then go down further. If this isn't the case, then this is the last snapshot.

  I have no problem, creating a tree with two table, but it is redundant in my case, because the tree is based on a car that references the table. My association of entity is already created that binds the parent_id column column id. And I have a link to view based on the association of the entity. I also create a view for my VO that filters the parent (parent_id = null) records and criteria applied to the instance of VO in the data model. I also have a detail THAT VO from my view link.

• Question about scripts in the form under repeatbel objects

  I'm working on the creation of a form that has a secondary form that can be repeated as many times as the user wants. There is a button 'Add' that creates an instance of the secondary on the form form, when you click on it.

  The secondary form I have 5 numeric fields say a1 - a5 and 1 field b1 which is the sum of all these 5 fields.

  On the main screen, I have a 2 fields - say t1 and f1.

  The requirement is t1 = f1 + b1 + (instance sous-forme 2 B1) + (sub-form instance 3's b1) + and so on... .depending on as many instances sub-shape there that the user adds.

  I created actions using the Action Builder such as when none of the a1 to a5 fields are out, b1 will be updated with the sum of a1 - a5. At the same time t1 will be updated with the sum of f1 and b1.

  This works very well for 1 instance of the form under. But when click on 'Add' and a second instance of the secondary form is added, then the script does not work as it did for the first instance of the secondary form. So for all instances of the subshape added, when values are added to a1 - a5 and the fields are exist, b1 not updated.

  How can I fix?

  See attached form that I create for clarity.

  "The total number of hours worked this week" are the t1 I was talking about. See how it is updated when values are entered in all areas of the time. It works great with the default instance of the form on T100/strategic/advantage customer information as well. But when I click on the button "Add Customer" to add another instance of the form sub, it does not work as expected.

• Question when compiling Forms 10 g to 11 g environment.

  We are the application forms 10 g to 11g migration. We are grtting question.

  Related library are LIB_005, WebUtil

  You need to "Manually" will convert your support library (.olb, .fmb, .pll, etc.) before performing the automatic recompilation of your forms.  If you do not have these files converted first (in your case [files LIB_005.pll and webutil]) you will see that the height and width properties (amount others) was set to zero (0) to all objects that are subclassed.  This will give you the impression that the objects no longer exist.

  The solution: open the LIB_005.pll in Forms Builder 11g and save the file manually.  Then replace the objects webutil (webutil.pll, webutil.olb) with the files provided with your forms 11g installation (it should find int: \Middleware\Oracle+FRHome1\forms if you used the default installation directories).  These files will then be located in a directory that appears in the FORMS_PATH (whether in the Windows registry or OS environment variable) Form 11g.
