• Combining separate text into single object...

  I remember in older versions of Illustrator that when you used pathfinder to combine several objects into a single object... it actually made into a single object, regardless of the weather or not, they where cutting.

  With versions more recent Illustrator, when you try to 'unit' objects pathfinder... the only ones that are actually combined into a single object are those that overlap... whatever it is separate is simply "bundled" and remains a totally separate object... even if you use "expand objects" on the group.

  I try to use a third-party program (styler path) and the problem that I am running is when I apply a stroke effect to styler path, he treats each letter in my title as a separate object (even if United for pathfinder), causing the lines overlap the previous letter.

  

  What I want to do is to combine all the letters into a single object (while still leaving space between each letter) so that the styler way treats the text (and edges) correctly. (Thus contours run in the other, instead of overlapping of the filling.)

  Any help would be appreciated... This should be simple... but I think it may be a case of the program trying to preserve the history of objects 'United' when I don't want it.

• How drag and drop a picture into a shape of the object?

  On my old Lion system that I used to be able to drag a picture from iphoto in the shape of the object open in Pages.  I can't be able to do more.  The system changed?  I tried to use Inspector (under help), but it won't let me access the file of the photo on the right.

  You can drag and drop a picture in a form in v4.3 Pages ' 09, but this can be done in any version of v5 Pages. Quite different applications, as well as more recent Pages has lost about 100 features that were in its antecedent.

  Check if you have Pages ' 09 v4.3 in your Applications: iWork ' 09 file. If so, use it.

  Pages v5 requires that you select a shape, and then on the Image tab in the right panel, you choose Image, scale to fill fill, and then select your image for the background. You cannot select this image from the inside, but you can add text to the form that will appear on your image.

• Separate an object into multiple objects w / Pen

  I am looking for a way to draw a single object, solid and then divide the object into multiple objects by using the pen tool. no other objects.

  Ex: Draw a solid cirlce, use the pen tool to draw lines on this circle (visually by creating different forms), then [be] with the original circle and lines drawn in pen to create the new objects/shapes.

  I've done this before by placing other OBJECTS on the original object and using the fracture or pathfinder trim switches, but using other forms (even online) has its limits.

  Any ideas?

  Currently I have two servers each with an oracle database, each of them is running apex and offers a package that people use to interact with data through Web pages.

  I want to merge these two servers into one to save on costs, which means that 1 Server 1 database... with 2 packets of the apex. Is this possible? I guess I would need to export/import the whole package and to migrate database schema, but I will say a default package a schema and a single default package to another scheme? I don't understand workspaces so maybe that's where the question is rooted.

  APEX applications are similar/different?

  You can do the following:

  • Import the schema (data) of base2 in database1.
  • You can associate multiple schemas to a workspace. For example, you can associate the schema imported into your workspace (in database1).

  • Then, you can export the APEX of base2 workspace application and import this request to the workspace from base1.
  • Access the newly imported application. Change the attributes of the Application -> Security-> database Session and define the Schema of the analysis to the newly imported schema.

  Is there a way to do this in a single object, but keeping the white line that separates the cherry and the stem? The stem has a stroke, the icing is not. Simply, it is grouped at the present time, and I can change the two fills together it won't really be a problem when I do the many changes of color, I have to do, but am just wondering if there was a better way to make all subject to a red to make it more clean/simple?

  By that I mean I have file with layers of curve 2-12 - I wanted to "merge" the curves so that I can end up with a single curve with the attributes of a lot. Maybe there at - it a script that would do this?

  I don't want to not be critical, but how get you to a situation where you have 12 layers of curves?

  The advantage of a curves layer is that you can adjust and re - adjust to your heart's content.

  If you usually add new curved layers one over the other, maybe you should re - evaluate your work process.  Maybe bit depth the way you think you should operate at a high level and make the operations of curves on the pixels?  Or put some time in retraining yourself do not add a new layer of curves but to manipulate that is already there.  There are some nice new improvements (e.g., subtool 'finger' that allows you to choose a location for the image and manipulate this part of the curve).

  Once again, I don't mean to criticize you, just look to see if maybe there's a way to avoid getting to the point where you need to combine the curves in the first place, since there is no direct possibility of "Merge curves", apart from the stamping a whole layer image and adjustment in pixels.  To be complete, I guess I should mention how...  Any combination of visible layers into a single layer of pixels (effectively combining all the curves layer and al.), you can stamp by pressing Ctrl - Shift - Alt-E.

  Create an object: then in your appearance Panel, duplicate the fill twice. Select the high fill and expand the submenu, click the opacity, choose the blending mode. Repeat steps.

I think that the graphics card is dead, I can boot into single user mode and run the Apple Hardware Test (no problem found). I found this acticle (https://people.cam.cornell.edu/~zc227/extras/early2011mbp_graphics.html), but I can't follow the steps to start the Mac to avoid the AMD card, such as the SIP is activated (cannot move road file extensions).

  I can't boot into recovery mode, due to the inability to start the graphical mode. Any other way to disable SIP?

  I collect the instant news of VM, my VM has 3 snapshots, but I don't have a single object VirtualMachineSnapshotTree in VirtualMachineSnapshotTree array, it gives me the snapshot root.

  When I call getChildSnapshotList() I get a table, child of the root object, again

  When I call the method again I'm last snapshot 3 (once again there is only a single object in the table)

  This is how it works?

  The childSnapshotList of a VirtualMachineSnapshotTree proporty will contain the snapshot root object that is her child as these pictures of children are inturn recursive in nature. So, you get the entire list of all snapshots in a single object of VirtualMachineSnapshotTree. You will need to retrieve the property childSnapshotList of each child (VirtualMachineSnapshotTree) and check if it has any other child. If so, then go down further. If this isn't the case, then this is the last snapshot.
