  Hi all

  We found that we cannot display resolution XGA presentation when we choose presentation layout as simple and overlay in a call.

  It can easily reach with the following procedure.

  1. connect to an endpoint farend.

  2. run the presentation on a PC with a XGA resolution.

  3. press the remote button on the page and change the layout to the presentation superimposition or simple.

  (In equality and Prominent, it can display the screen of the PC)

  In addition, when we use the source of presentation HD resolution, it doesn't not.

  Anyone know if this will be fixed in a future software update?

  I see the same question what you describe in the laboratory.   Both TC6.3 and TC7.0.1.

  But I tested with TC7.0.2 beta1 and can't see this problem.

  In the meantime, if you need this, I suggest to you that use TC6.2.1 first.

• Gel-presentation SX20 to MXP endpoints

  We have a problem where a codec SX20 in presenter view showing a slide of that presentation freezes as the slides is advanced on 7 1700 MXP endpoints.  The other end points do not see the presentation in advance.  it freezes right on their end.  Devices are saved on a server of VCS control and we have an old legacy MCU, MPS200.  The MPS200 could be the bottleneck?

  We have a new Cisco 5300 MCU, that we're converting.  I would like any advice or thoughts related to this.

  Of course, members may be a problem. If you have the 53xx so, try it.

  The SPM is a very old style of MCU and still there's always the interop issues.

• Question of presentation on EDGE 95 MXP

  I have a client who has an EDGE 95 MXP system and complains that he is to have a lot of problems with its laptops, make presentations of PC. Some of its laptops work well, others not. He reported the following portable computers as does NOT:

  HP 8740w

  HP 2560p

  HP 2550

  HP 8560p

  Dell Precision M6700

  HP 6730 b

  He had no problem with the following laptops:

  Dell Latitude E6530

  Dell Latitude D630

  What's weird, is that if he uses a 50 foot DVI to VGA cable for its computers laptop problem, it works! It does work with the original cable 15 feet. The cable has been replaced so we know this isn't a cable problem. The codec was also replaced at some point. 50 foot DVI to VGA cable was a Cisco came up with solution but the client indicates that it would be foolish...

  Anyone got any ideas how I could get this client on my back? I am sure that it is a setting of the laptop or the driver to the origin of the problem, but my client just it.

  We have seen similar problems in the past with some portable computers when using DVI VGA, replaced cables cables with VGA to VGA cables and used a VGA to DVI adapter on the codec itself set. (We also forced 'VGA Out quality XGA')

• Profile of 52 (C40) with DualDisplay - question of presentation

  We currently have a facility only 52 profile screen (C40) in our conference room. Now, we think of the command DualDisplay option and using our projector as a secondary display for presentation only. Because of the existing wiring cables like this maybe we:

  laptop-> dvi / vga-> C40-> dvi-> projector

  So I would have no direct wiring between the laptop and beamer. Is a user in this scenario must begin the presentation of touch every time, even if the telepresence system would not be in use? For example, if five employees are in the meeting room and someone wants to show a presentation? In thinking about the EX-dispositifs 'format' - signal is still active because you can use it as a desktop computer. Is something like this for the C40 codec?

  Hi Daniel,.

  Texp systems are more like personal systems that are on the desktop or workstations. Privacy, therefore, is not a problem with them.

  However, C Series codecs are integrators and mainly used in meeting rooms and they need protection of personal information. For this reason, they are required to activate the presentation even if endpoint is not a call. Therefore, you need to enable the presentation to see on the second poster.

  In another entry (which depends on the Boolean value) set a presentation property to "See the entry" and the value set to the name of the Boolean input... for example.

  If the entry name Boolean input1 is the value to search in the "entry Show" property of the other entry is #input1

• Question about presentation simultaneous program via PL/SQL

  I encountered a strange problem. I have a table that contains 6 lines of project I want to apply a seeded competitor of (this operation because the seeded program runs about 100 min. and trying to break up to run faster). He shall submit the first 5 very well and returned a request id. On the 6th, he sends the request, but never comes back with a request id or even apply 0. The program just hangs and all 6 processes launching run and finish, but the main program continues to run and everything goes ever further. I have to cancel it, and when I do, I lose what was written in the newspaper, so I made a table bit debug and who inserts debugging information. Here is the presentation code and the results in the table of debugging. As you can see that it goes ever further beyond the loop. No idea why this is happening? I have had it before and am at a loss.

  I tried to make l_range_cnt be 1 just to see if she has the first set of ranges of project, and then finish running the program, but it's not. Debugging table results when range_cnt is 1 is:

  If these codes are all of the code to submit a request. I'll try to explain it.
  in the 1st loop:

  in the 2nd loop:

  If the last never loop commit 6.c insert into table.

• Several questions of presentation

  I have a few problems regarding the presentation of custom web view I created.

  1. When I set the defaults for vCenter objects, the display of web pages shows the ID of the object rather than the name, for example 'Localhost datastore 10' instead of 'datastore1 '.
     
  2. Even when I put a root folder, the user should always be able to choose each existing VM he read rights on. To resolve this problem, I created a table of VMs and added those I want to show the users. It actually works, but now I can't see any name for the virtual machine.
     
  3. Is it possible to add comments next to the text boxes? I want to add some explanations for users and everything written in the description of the mess really the view.
     

  I made some screenshots if you understand what I mean exactly.

  The first screenshot shows the problem with the object ID. The second displays the name for the virtual machines and the third shows my current properties for the presentation of my virtual machines.

  Yep, the # is a typo.

  The SdkConnection must come from the inventory-vCO.

  So in my case, I had an input parameter named SdkConnection (you can call it at will) with the VC:SdkConnection type for the script element.

  This is because the vCO is designed to deal with multiple vCenter servers, so there is no global authorisationManager.

• Question in presentation Variable

  I created a variable for the week and the year and I'm trying to merge them to apply as a filter.
  
  To do this, I have converted the week num in char type. The week so not 1, 2, 3.12, 13 will be displayed as 01,02, 03... 12, 13.
  so I can add concatenate them with year and together there filter for a report.
  
  Reason for all this is. I need to display the results to a report based on the selection of values prompt like
  
  of the year of the week for the week year
  2010 50 2011 05
  
  Fact table and calendar are joined by the date fields.
  
  When the prompt values are selected and applied to the variable of presentation rather than spend '05' it's just by the way of "5". How to get this done. Are also tell me the work around to filter with cookers.

  I tried in my environment and syntax '2011' | right ("0" |) Cast (50 as CHARACTER (2)), 2) works very well.

  You can try with the integer data type:

  Cast ((2011*100+PRESENTATION_VARIABLE) as char (6)).

• Question of 'present ring sampling '.

  I am using the pipette and the 'Show ring of sampling' box is grayed out.  I can't click it to turn on or off (it has currently no control in the box so it is off).  How can I get to switch on?

  You must have the drawing OpenGL enabled in Edit-> preferences-> Performance to use this feature. What video card you have?

• Adobe Presenter 10 Drag and Drop questions - grey area only when you try to create

  I try to create drag and drop questions in presenter 10 and after clicking on Add Question-> drag-and - drop, the new window opens but where I should be able to define the questions etc., the screen is just gray. Have the same problem on the three other systems as well.

  Flash is updated to the latest version as well as presenter 10.

  Oddly the Flash version installed is 15, but a right click in the grey box shows me version 11.

  Any ideas?

  Just in case someone else has the same problem, a cat with Adobe brought the solution:

  On the gray screen, right click and go to global settings

  Go to the Advanced tab

  Scroll down and click on "trusted location settings.

  In the window 'Trusted location settings', click on 'Add' at the bottom

  Click on "Add a folder" and select "Local disk c".

  Click "Ok" and confirm on the "Trusted location settings" window

  Worked for me (on three different machines) like a charm!

  I think that there is some confusion here about what he asks for responses.

  There is a difference between WebEx Telepresence and WebEx Connect. He asks for connectivity to WebEx Connect and the ansswers point to telepresence WebEx (formerly Callaway). The two services are not interoperable without some type of bridge.

  So to answer your questions

  Can SX20 connect to session WebEx Connect - short answer is no. But if you have access to the PSTN via a gateway, you can connect audio only.

  (1) it is possbile to let someone to participate in the Conference using WebEx? Yes, as long as they use WebEx Connect or connect audio

  (2) do I buy another device to connect to WebEx? Yes, you can configure a computer to act as a gateway for your SX20 or see if your WebEx account can be activated from WebEx telepresence Setup on the account. (you will need to CUCM (o), (o) MCU, VCS Expressway and TMS)

  (3) is it possible to make the conference between another device like polycom videoconferencing? If you connect the PC/laptop for the SX20 and this codec "joined" the session, you can have the dial on any other Codecs VTC or a MCU SX20.

  Teh PC/laptop must have ability to Athens to take in audio and video from the camera and the microphone, then pass that to the session WebEx can have the WebEx returned to the CODEC and audio program.

  See a product of Vaddio called the easy Vaddio USB AV bridge I've never used this product as I've always used separate A / V devices to accomplish the same thing, but I think if I have to, once again, I would explore this option.

  I love the new option of html 5 for iPads. My published lesson looks good on the iPad with no application necessary!

  I have two questions.

  When it works on my iPad, I couldn't understand what was the icon top right of the screen next to the 'i' (more speaker button). This is the icon that resembles a speaking character, but mine is grayed out.

  What are the main known glitches that do not yet work for the iPad, as appropriate?

• Why the buttons do not work in presenter 9?

  I placed a glossary on a blade so that learners can jump the glossary of terms and then I put another object for learners can jump back in the slide, there was. But actions do not work on the two buttons. Thus, the button works to directly access the lexicon, it won't work for return to last visited slide. It works when I Preview in PowerPoint, but not when I saw or publish using Adobe Presenter.

  Anyone can shed some light on this?

  I wanted to send you an email that I found the solution. The glossary is set to full page and hierarchy, even if you align your button to be placed at the front of the page. If the value smaller glossary and make sure that it does not overlap the button.

  Now, I'm having a problem with an error message after trying to use the Advanced setting in question quiz, "presenter is facing a problem with the presentation. Try to save your work on an another powerpoint and restart powerpoint. If this does not work... come here, I save in a different powerpoint but it did not work. It wont let me record the changes made to the quiz more and the police is all messed.

  1. I think that the cookie comes from your other balancer load balancers of apache/WLS as simply use the JSESSIONID cookie.
  2. isolate-session-cookies-for-local-consumer does not change anything.

  1 - Dwlp.resource.proxy.servlet.block.response.headers = true is a good idea if you use resources (e.g. images).
