Question of screen Orientation

I can't understand how to change how the screen orientation changes when I move my x 201 laptop mode to Tablet mode. As it is, when I close it for a Tablet, the screen becomes portrait, however I would like to change to make it reverse landscape (i.e. the computer mode unlike portable 180 degrees).

I studied the topic online and I can't find answers, does anyone know how to do this?

There are 2 methods to configure (assumes that you are using Windows 7):

  1. Go to control panel > Lenovo Tablet utility > Auto Screen Rotation.
(be sure to this Menu Popup Tablet is installed, http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-67219 )
  2. Go to control panel > Tablet PC settings > display (tab) > click on 'Go to Orientation', then you can see "Orientation sequence settings" there.

It's what warranties are for. If you bought the phone from Apple or an Apple authorized reseller, iPhone, you have 14 days to return it for a refund. After that the Bank should replace the phone. If you did not buy from Apple or a shop authorized, you must respect the terms of this store. However, Apple will always replace the phone, if you contact them directly.

Return it to the store for assessment.   It is in the warranty period of 12 months, so it could be replaced if you insist that you are in the United Kingdom.   Otherwise it is covered by your warranty and is either replaced or repaired according to the countries.

The ability to rotate the screen image is a feature of your video card, to help work with instructors who rotate the portrait orientation. Almost certainly you accidentally pressed Ctrl-Alt, and
    an arrow key.
    Rotate using these keys.

  • To adapt to the screen orientation by using javascript (for playbook)

    Hi all

I know that the subject of the screen orientation has been crossed many times already, but I've searched and searched in the webworks put on an answer and can't find it.

My application is made for the landscape. I have 2 options. ((1) lock app in landscape which I think still can be done using webworks (but please correct me if I'm worng) or 2) to scale the app for the portrait.

Because to my knowledge 1) cannot be done, I'll focus on 2). Has anyone seen or written a javascript/css script that checks if the user holds the tablet in landscape or portrait and adapt to the 2 on-the-fly switching of b/w? My app is made for 1024 x 600. I know it can evolve using CSS 0.6 starting to adapt to the screen, but I don't know how to check and then re - evolve afterwards with javascript.

Any help, please and thank you.

In fact, you can lock in landscape orientation with

your config.Xml file. Just remove the space after "rim:" because I added it to prevent the Bulletin Board to return as , haha.

  • Questions about screens

    Hi guys

I have 2 questions about screens to OPA

    (1) how can I put a summary screen halfway through an application and view the status of the intermediate attribute and the values of the attributes at the basic level

    (2) if im dealing with several entities, how can I adapt the maintenance of the screen title to represent the selected entity.

    hope that makes sense

    Thank you

    (1) you can have the summary screen that appear as many times as you want, depending on how you chose to structure the objective attributes that you make available to the user on the summary screen. A simple example is instead of having a single objective attribute on the summary screen, divide the underlying rules in two attributes of purpose and have the second attribute hidden at the start of the interview. When the first goal is known, the user will return to the summary screen. You can use the visibility attributes to control the display of any intermediate or base attribute, you want the user to see and make your second goal visible so that the user can continue the rest of the interview. See the OPM help topic change how data summarized and reviewed interview for more details. According to the same approach, you can create far more sophistication in your summary screen design.

    (2) to have the title of the screen include the selected feature, use the substitution (for example % applicant ' s_name %). See the help topic OPM Change the text of an interview or of the sentence issue for more details.

  • Screen orientation: real device vs. Simulator

    Hey guys (and girls).

So yesterday when I got the SDK and harry first noticed a problem of orientation. To be honest, I couldn't even turn the unit in the Simulator (subsequently discovered click and drag). in any case, my current application is built assuming that we don't see rotation capabilities in the Simulator until later. But now that we have received the Simulator updated we can finally do some tests of rotation. So here's what we found:

After you have added the following lines to the file - app.xml:

    false
    landscape

I compile and run my app in debug mode in the Simulator. Works without a hitch. I do the click and drag the motion to rotate the Simulator. Does not work. Now I'll assume that this happens because I put the autoOrient false value. So now so far so good. If the user decides to rotate the unit while using my app it would remain the same (I was intending to do the portrait of mode changes later).

So what's the problem. After I slide up on my request to minimize it while remaining in the fashion landscape, it appears as a normal horizontal application. Now if I were to click and drag the motion to make rotate the Simulator Simulator rotates - but not my application. Now, because it was shot all being reduced at least my application is still assuming that the device is in landscape mode and rest in the same form. Now when I maximize my app while still in portrait mode, it looks pretty bad to say the least. an application of landscape in portrait form factor - not a pretty picture.

In the case where I have everybody scratching their heads, here are the steps to re - create (that's all assuming that your application is set to show only in landscape mode):

    1. Make a wonderful app
    2. Put the above code lines in your - app.xml file to avoid the orientation change.
    3. Compile and run / debug your application on the Simulator
    4. Assuming that your Simulator has not frozen (har har ) try to rotate the screen.
    5. After finding out, you are not able to rotate the screen, minimize your application with a sliding upward.
    6. Now turn your Simulator via the drag and turn motion (lower right in the middle of the screen)
    7. Now look at the way that your minimize the looks of the app.
    8. Maximize your single app landscape.
    9. Cringe.

If you followed the steps in this order, you should be able to understand now if you have not already before.

so my question is, is the same expected behavior of the real device? or will a single minimized application landscape turned to always be in mode 'landscape' and not stretched to fit the portrait mode?

Thanks for any information / suggestion / effort of collaboration in advance!

(btw while typing this workaround came to mind where I could check the current ratio of the height and the width of the stage and the direction myself - I'll keep you posted!)

Even here, I will just wait. It works perfectly in Android (sim and device) so here I will not write code to fix something that will be fixed when it comes out (they can't leave it like that)

  • TouchSmart Tm2 2050us screen orientation? Please help me. :( :(

Someone out there has a solution for the problem of orientation screen HP tm2? The MS compatibility checker didn't address this issue.  Win 8 works very well except for the obvious question. I feel completely thrown on the sidewalk of the MS and HP. Would be nice if someone has a patch or a suggestion, or a useful software for this. The control panel is able to turn the screen on or off. The sensor on the screen and the button on the side of the screen no longer work. :( :(

    It makes me really sad.

screen rotation and the accelerometer on a touchsmart tm2-2050us? It's pretty cool. Please read.

The pilot which rotates the screen on my tm2 has stopped working after I installed windows 8. I installed a user interface software that allows me to rotate the screen without having to open the control panel whenever I would use the computer as a tablet. It is quite a bad substitute for a fix of the pilot, but it seems that neither Microsoft nor HP have an interest to provide a fix for this problem (they want me to buy a new computer).

I installed accelerometer freeware software that call data from the material of protection of data (tm2_accelerometer_(x64).exe). It seems to work periodically. When it works, it works well. It usually does not work. I noticed that this software has started working when I placed my hand on cam HP TrueVision and the matrix of sensors that are next to the camera on the top/side of the screen when the laptop was in Tablet configuration. Anyone know anything about this? I checked all drivers and the operating system is of the opinion that all the drivers and equipment are up to date and functioning properly. It would be great to hear of all the ideas that people have on this topic. Thank you!

    Hey Asa

You have installed sp51650? If this is not the case, try to install it.

If sp51650 is installed, and then try to uninstall the newer version (via Control Panel) from sp52165 and install the old version, that you have found.

  • iPad, screen Orientation change without moving the iPad? An application perhaps? Is this possible?

I would like to have the ability to change the orientation of the screen without physically rotate the iPad vertically.

    Here's what I mean.

I have the iPad on the desktop and I want to check the email in landscape mode, I move on the table horizontally to landscape mode and orientation should change. It is not for the moment. I have to raise the iPad on the table and to change the direction from Portrait to landscape and when I go back to an application demanding in portrait mode, I have to again raise the iPad on the table.

I was wondering if there is a utility app that allows the switch without raising the iPad and turning to change direction.

    Hello amitkapila2,

Yes a few apps will change your orientation when you start them. Try roating your iPad in landscape ounces landscape enable locking focus on the home screen (in the last control center) and then launch the application of it rotates so it's the app.

I installed the driver for the webcam for the M700, and every time I install it, I get the same error message:

"Open Webcam driver fail - please restart camera or computer."

I reinstalled the drivers of many times, and it still does not work.

Therefore, I tried the msconfig method, disabled all the startup process and then reactivated their.

The webcam shows the same error message, and now the screen will not change orientation when I rotate the screen.

You try to use Windows XP Home edition or what? Generally, each laptop comes with preinstalled and configured operating system.
