The question is, I created this months DVD 2 when buying and I used Notepad for this period. My recovery disk would be identical to a recovery disk created just after the purchase?

  Content of my recovery disk doesn't include any setup I see makes me think I could you created a wrong. Can I use this disc to re - install Vista assuming that I am currently using Windows XP?

  Because the installation cannot be started under the BONE, or in a sort of DOS mode, there is no setup.exe. Just put the recovery in the optical disc drive disk, start your portable computer, press F12, choose the CD/DVD drive, press ENTER and follow the menu on the screen. You can now use what you want. After the use of DVDs, you'll plant more recovery settings, even you got after it for the first time.

  I have a Satellite A300-009 and the battery is dead. I looked on ebay and there are lots of batterys for Satellite A300, but in the models list, there all models but my A300-009.

  Theoretically yes, but what you can do is check the battery on the battery part number and use Google to find an online store where you can order. I recommend buying the original Toshiba Toshiba logo on it battery.

  You can order each part of the Toshiba laptop computer of authorized service provider available in your country. The ASP should be able to provide this part even if the laptop belongs to an old series laptop.

• Question of graphics 3D Satellite A300-23d

  I bought a Satellite A300-23d about 4 weeks ago. I use my laptop for graphics and the game. I used it with no problems at all during the first 2 weeks. Windows works perfectly fine (except that I got approximately 4 BSOD) but I can't play 3D games! What can I do? The only solution I think it gives for repair. • Updating BIOS for Satellite A300/600

  Hi all

  I have a Satellite A300/600 (PSAG4A - 02600M), that I just installed W7 x 64 on (I did a clean install). I am upgrading the drivers according to the Web from Toshiba website. I noticed there is an upgrade of the BIOS to version 1.8 - I am running version 1.5.

  I downloaded the update, but when I try to launch it I get the following message: "C:\Users\HELIF~1\AppData\Local\Temp\isc6632tmp\\i nsydeflash.exe could not be executed."

  The PC is running fine at the moment, no major flaws - V1.8 do I need? If so, how do I correct this situation?

  Other flaws in the process of upgrading for me so far have been:

  Whenever I pressed the button mute W7 UAC has popped up to ask me if I wanted to allow the program to Toshiba setting system. Corrected this problem by moving the file ButtonSetting.ini and by editing the registry.

  Support Windows Live Photo Gallery. When I inserted my card from my camera, W7 XD he recognized very well, but WLPG could not see. That's why I cannot import my pictures off the card. Well, I can do through W7 but WLPG gives you options to fine-tune the importation of the process which is what I'm after. Tried to uninstall/reinstall WLPG after I had installed all the drivers from Toshiba, but it still does not recognize. One more question.

  Finally, regarding WLPG, I can't download Image Composite Editor, everytime I try the link to the download (ftp or html), Firefox just displays a blank page with "waiting for research.microsoft.com. Try to find another site to download it off the coast but no luck so far.

  That's all so far, any help would be appreciated.

  No you don't need it. If your laptop works well don't change anything.
  I can't say for sure, but maybe this update of the BIOS works under 32 bit OS only.

  I have European Satellite A300 and I still have the original BIOS although I use Win7 and last orders for it.
  My advice to you is: do not touch the well-executed system.

• Lack of drivers WinXP for Satellite A300/A305

  I bought a satellite a305-s6829 United States. I changed the XP operating system.
  My problems with the following:

  (1) I have 3 devices that remain unknown and Toshiba USA published incomplete drivers XP for this model.
  I don't know what material do not work and have no idea how to identify them. At first, I installed a program that is supposed to identify the unknown devices but it lists everything in the laptop! So, how am I supposed to know which are unknown.
  The list of devices is long and it is quite difficult to isolate the unknown devices.

  (2) I'm unable to find the common for Win XP ACPI modules for this model. Is there a compatible ACPI module for the A300/A305 from other models?
  I'm unable to install other important utilities for the laptop since I do not have it, for example power management.

  (3) since installing XP, I am experiencing BSOD.
  I don't know what is the cause. It's perhaps related to no. 2, I don't know. Everyone knows this?

  Can someone help me with these questions?

  I want BIOS update latest version 2.10 for windows 7, but in the Web of Toshiba-NZ site, I can only find the version 1.9, I find 2.10 for A300 Toshiba Europe, but Europe models are all different from NZ.

  There are a lot of different series for laptop on the market.

  You must use the BIOS that is designed exactly for the portable model!
  As you know, the BIOS update is a reasonable process and can damage the ROM chip using BIOS wrong!

  If anyone can send any old BIOS you are trying to contact Toshiba service in your country. They have access to the database of Toshiba and they can get the old version for you.
