Questions from the media do not work on the mobile device.

Hello. I don't know why my media queries do not work on my laptop. When I slide the narrow desktop as a mobile phone version, the smaller Tablet and mobile views appear to work. But they do not work on a real device. Is something wrong my my code? jenniferblatzdesign.com. thank you for your help.

  • Questions from the media on the report columns

    Hello

    I'm experimenting with questions from the media on the APEX components such as the columns on the report.

    I have an example that works, but I wonder if it's the best way to go about it.

    APEX media query example

    I applied the following CSS

    @media (orientation:portrait) {
      .landscape_only {display:none;}
    }
    @media (orientation:landscape) {
      .portrait_only {display:none;}
    }

    For components such as regions, buttons etc - I can apply "CSS Classes" attribute class to the component level.

    for example: I have applied the .portrait_only in the area of 'Code' in my example

    but for the columns in a report, I had to apply this jQuery on the page loading.

    $('th#HIREDATE, td[headers=HIREDATE]').addClass("landscape_only");

    If I applied to the class in the detail of the column that the data has been hidden when Guide to portrait - not the entire column.

    Are there more effective methods of enforcement of the class to the column?

    Reading articles like this lead me to think that way, but I don't know if APEX could be other solutions.

    5 tips for better jQuery selectors - SitePoint

    It becomes a little pain if I wanted to list a number of columns.

    I look forward to jQuery gurus ;-)

    Scott

    Rather than specify the classes at the level of the components and using jQuery when running, why not simply specify the items directly in the stylesheet?

    @media (orientation:portrait) {
      #P2_BUTTON2,
      th#HIREDATE, td[headers=HIREDATE]  {display: none;}
    }
    @media (orientation:landscape) {
      #P2_BUTTON1 {display: none;}
    }

    This seems to be a more effective approach that all orientation-based rules are easily visible and easy to manage in one place, rather than be dispersed through the definitions component and dynamic action.

  • CS5, installed from a backup does not work in the new iMac w / El Capitan; the discs moved

    My 2011 iMac has a failing hard drive. I downloaded a full backup, including the CS5, in a new iMac running El Capitan. None of the Adobe programs will run, even after I installed Java SE 6 & restarted. A Setup from disks, starting with Acrobat 9 Pro disc and after dragging the applications icon, gave me this: "the operation cannot be completed because one or more required items be found.» (Error code - 43) »

    I deleted programs meeting CS5, rebooted and tried to load again from the disk of Acrobat 9 Pro. After dragging the applications icon, I got this: ' the finder cannot complete the operation because some data in "" cannot be read or written. ". (Error code - 36) »

    Updated his computer at El Capitan my wife and charge of Java SE 6, and his CS5 still works. What can be done in my case? Thanks to all in advance!

    Download from a backup will not work.

    You must install it.

    https://helpx.Adobe.com/Creative-Suite/KB/CS5-product-downloads.html

    But CS5 wil cause a lot of errors on El Capitan.

    They simply are not (fully) compatible.

    Just search for it on the forum, you will find a lot of threads.

  • Windows 7 Defrag from command line does not work

    We are running Windows 7 in a virtualized environment. When you run windows defrag hourly use of the command line, it does not work. The order that I will execute as administrator is

    C:\Windows\System32>defrag/c

    Microsoft Disk Defragmenter
    Copyright (c) 2007 Microsoft Corp.

    It displays the above message and leaves back to the command prompt. However if I run the defrag C: command it does not. Defragmentation from the GUI works so as long as both drives (C: and system reserved) are selected and when I click on defragment drives, works very well.

    I am concerned about defrag from the Task Scheduler with the command ' defrag/c' (self programmed to help set up the calendar... from Disk Defragmenter) does not work and the system never gets defragmented automatically.

    This only happens with some of the windows virtual machine 7 we have.

    There are no entries in the event log that point to defragmentation (using the Task Scheduler). Anything can happen on the ideas?

    -Mike

    Hello djplexus

    First, you will need to understand how to set up the dual boot. This will allow you to be able to choose between XP and 7 at startup.
    With regard to the creation of an image of Windows XP Backup there is no Windows XP software that will do it for you. You will need to look to third-party vendors for support with this issue. Thank you.

  • Why the blocking of emails from domains option does not work in Hotmail (e-mail on the Web server)?

    A question was asked in 2009 about why we (Hotmail users) cannot block e-mail from domains.
    When follow us the instructions and put the domain address as in the example provided
    (domain.com) or (@domain.com) or work with Hotmail refuses to add to the block list, always rplies Hotmail with error message (this field cannot be added to the list of senders blocked in Hotmail), Microsoft's answer to the time (2009) was linked to outlook express and the outlook community!

    I don't want that I do not use Outlook, I travel a lot and I rarely wear my laptop, I want to be able block area and addresses that I manually set directly in my list of block in my account Hotmail itself.

    Responses are all related to outlook, the only related response suggested that the cause of the problem is that there is a parental control configuration, well I don't have, I tried the blocking of my house, my work of intenet cafes and still I can't block emails which is a real trouble from specific areas

    Please let me know how I can do it.

    Hello 2 months ago, I got a Blackberry storm. Its a good phone, but I have a problem that would do much better. When I try to install the Office Manager, everything installs without count Roxio Media manager. It gives me an error and cancels the installation of Roxio and continues with the other stuff. I really want to transfer Photos and videos from my phone to my computer and vice versa. Please tell me what can I do to install the Media Manager to get the work of the unit. I do not have the installation CD, I downloaded it from the blackberry website. The English version WITH media manager and I even clicked Custom install and made sure that he had the intention to install it.

    2. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
