Quick change brush size shortcut

Hello
I'm trying to find the shortcut to change the size of the brush for quick selection tool (W). I looked into other forums online and they said he must use square brackets [and], but it does not work for me.

Y at - it an easy shortcut to change the size of the brush, so I don't have to use the menu - as you can with the Brush tool?

I use adobe photoshop CC.

Thank you :-)

Hi hofdinghoff,

Using [and] should allow you to change the size of the brush.

If this does not work, you can create another Edit > keyboard military

Kind regards

Assani

Unfortunately not - trust me, I've tried using JSFL but discovered there is no way - I know that many

  • Click on a header of every time I change my color/tool/brush size etc. on CS6 & El Capitan

OK, it drives me absolutely crazy. My CS6 has been slow for a bit, but since the upgrade to El Capitan, I'm losing my mind. Whenever I want to change brush size, fast replacement of the tools, zoom in or out, basically anything, I first have to click the image generally on the program header and then I can't change. Otherwise, none of the keyboard shortcuts work and nothing is last updated on the screen. The spot Healing Brush tool does not update unless I do this or cure somewhere else. The clone tool drags and won't appear not updated until I do it. The list is long. I tried to delete my preferences file and that did not work. Optimize my Mac did not work (this is a new Mac is told by the way). Nothing worked! This makes editing a bit tortuous. Suggestions? I quickly fell I also use Wacom tablet in case this has nothing to do with it.

John, there's always a choice. And in fact I just had a friend call me an answer about 1 minute after I posted this. Menus, shortcuts, Lasso tool, or Photoshop constantly run when using a Wacom tablet. Mac OS worked perfectly. There is no need to further improve.

  • Change the size of the brush will not work

    Hello

Two days ago, I was able to change my Photoshop brush size and hardness by dragging my mouse while pressing ctrl + alt on my Mac, but today it no longer works. I reset all my settings and also the Brush tool, but it will not work. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?

I use a MacBook Pro with OSX 10.11.6 with Photoshop 2015.5.1

    Thank you in advance!

You are right! HyperDock has effectively hijacked the shortcut. After uninstalling it, everything has worked again.

    Thanks for your help.

  • Shortcuts for Photoshop CS6 brush size is too slow for my work

    Hi all, need help here.

When we paint with Photoshop brushes (while seriously urgent works, especially since my boss is hunting...), we need more big brushes or to change small brushes, at such tense moment, I find the so so so slow [] shortcut and I can only click on the [] as hard as possible, I quietly shouting "come." faster... »

So, is there a way to double or triple the speed?

    Thank you

Instead of using the range keys, you use could the shortcuts below to change the size of the brush much faster.

    Windows

ALT + right click, drag to the left or right

    Mac

CTRL + Option + drag to the left or right

It of the shortcuts above with any of the paint tools and drag left or right in the area of document

Drag upward or down to change the hardness

(you can change opacity in photoshop preferences)

  • Difficult to change the sizes of brush with keyboard commands

    Hi all

All of a sudden I have problems change of brush sizes, hardness etc. using keyboard shortcuts. Additionally, when you try to use a brush with a taper on it (which I would like to get rid of), he refuses to go. Sometimes I can use keyboard controls and all that after I chose another tool and back brushes (or dodge or burn), say brush, click on the arrow icon, then back to the brush and use the keyboard command, or click on the program and back in.

It is not Yosemite, it started before that, but don't know when.

I'm on an iMac running Yosemite 10.10

    Thank you

Could it be! Menus, shortcuts, Lasso tool, or Photoshop constantly run when using a Wacom tablet. Mac OS

Adobe has a white window plugin to solve this problem.

  • Change the brush size and hardness with CTRL-OPT-DRAG

It may seem a strange question, but I can not just use the shortcut to change the size and hardness of the brush in CS5: Ctrl + Opt-make slide

I work on a MacBook Pro with a magic mouse. As soon as I click CTRL, to the tip of the needle, a small box appears (a menu icon) and then if I click, opens the brush menu.

I'm working on a french keyboard and I don't know how to change this shortcut because I don't need to reassign a key, but a 'action '.

I reset all the shortcuts to the original settings in the keyboard preferences.

Oh, and Yes, I select the OpenGL option.

It seems really easy, but it drives me crazy!

If anyone has an answer, which would be really useful!

    Thank you

I'm not sure. Maybe something on the french keyboard?

  • Change the size of the brush erasing with adjustment brush.

I find autour and have been unable to locate the shortcut keys to increase or decrease the size of the brush while erasing. Support key is used to change the size of the brush in the brush itself, but when I press the alt key to switch to the eraser, I can't understand shortcut keys to change the size of the eraser. It works for the Panel, but it's a pain. There must be a shortcut for it. Thank you, Eric

    Eric,

If you draw with a mouse that has a wheel, you can use them to change the size of the eraser. I can do Windows XP at least. If you use a tablet of some sort, you might be out of luck.

  • Overlay red when you change the brush size

In the online tutorials, when people change their brush size and hardness, you can see a red overlay which shows what the real brush would look like.
I don't see the Red overlay. Just the outline of the brush size.
Is there a way to do this turn on?

You can then, as far as I know, neither use this feature, or other features based on the GPU as the rotate view tool, 3D etc. functions.

  • How to change the size of the brush smaller Flash?

    Hello world

I'm kinda new in the Adobe world. * Waves *.

I worked in Flash at the school, on a slightly older version. When I bought the latest version (Flash Professional CC 2015) on my computer at home, the layout appears a little differently.

Down to it, I can't change the brush size smaller, and it is at the lowest level. (which in my opinion is a little huge) I looked around the internet trying to find how to change the brush size smaller, and they all say the same thing: go to the bottom of the toolbar, where you can change the size of the brush.

UH... That's... really useful, but... Is not...

Before the brush size change when you zoomed in or out, but now it seems not to be the case...

Can someone help me? Does anyone else have this problem? I really need to get some work here...

    Thanks in advance.

Please forgive my poor vocabulary and try to answer in simple terms, because I'm not a native English speaker.

Have you looked at Edition > keyboard shortcuts?

Try 'Photoshop default settings' or hold down your ALT key. The Cancel button will be reset, and you click on this.

Now what remains are your BONES keyboard settings or if you are using a bluetooth keyboard or tablet.
