Quick launch icon disappeared

original title: the taskbar icon

I had an icon for my office and without realizing, it "appears" on the desktop so I removed it.  Now my icon disappeared from the task bar and I don't know how to get it back.

  • resize the taskbar, quick launch icons,

You have the ability to resize the police why not icons, tasks or the Quick Launch bar. Why 3rd party? Its nice that you get apps to do just this, but it would be nice if it came intigrated with broth.

You make feature requests, you must lead at Google. Motorola offer stock android, and what you ask, Google did not add. You should request this from Google.

  • MUTE button and its quick launch icon are reversed

I think I deleted a driver when I was trying to fix a computer freeze. There was a message I deleted it while my computer may not work correctly, but I did anyway... Oops.

So now, when my mute button is disabled on the motherboard, and then the audio in the quick launch shows it is not muted and when the mute button is reactivated, then the icon down below shows that it remains silent. So I guess they are reversed but I virtually impossible to get all the sounds work so that never.

One thing I noticed, is that if I hit the mute button permanently, I can hear bits of sound. It's like I'm sneaking between the functions mute above and below. But of course, I need to function normally if I can watch YouTube with ease, etc..

So what to do? I tried to reinstall a driver from the windows site, but I couldn't really handle this very well. And my driver installation CD does not work because my CD rom is not working well.

    Hello again triceratops108,

    Thanks for the quick response!

Based on the information provided in your post, I recommend to uninstall and reinstall the audio driver of your computer. To do this, please follow this document on How to change or remove a program in Windows XP as well as Conexant CX20468-31 AC97 Audio Driver and Audio Driver EQ re - install on your laptop.

If the problem persists, I recommend reformatting your hard drive and re - install Windows XP or if you choose to do, upgrade to Windows Vista.

    I hope this helps!

  • Small quick launch icons?

is it possible to get smaller as the small icons of windows 7 to the Quick Launch bar.  The small icons of Windows 7 are at least 2 - 3 times larger than the small icons of Vista, that leave room for only 8 to 10 icons in a double row.

I see two other things you pourriez do.  First of all, you could get a bigger screen and extend the toolbar 3 lines instead of your current 2.  I recently bought a 32 "for $250 TV and connected to my computer via a HDMI cable.  It is superb!  Of course it is perhaps not too practical if you're talking about a laptop.  :-)

The only other thing would be to decrease the size of everything, even if maybe it's not too pleasant to your eyes (I know that it would not be for mine).

    Good luck.

  • Do not click on & dray of desktop icons to the quick launch with Windows Vista.

Evening... Maybe someone can help me with the problem, I'm going to not be able to click & drag one of my desktop for the quick launch icons.  It's on my husbands laptop (mine is fine), so I don't know how long it lasts.  Any suggestion would be appreciated.  Thank you and have a great rest of the weekend.

    Hello

Are you connected to this main computer as ADMINISTRATOR?

Maybe her husband, he is the lead director.

    I hope this helps.

  • Quick Launch toolbar in Windows Vista makes Me crazy!

The Vista Quick Launch toolbar seems to have a mind of your own.  First, there is the part of the taskbar where the quick launch icons appear. Secondly and apparently in itself, sometimes I have a second "taskbar" separate from the main.  It is a customizable, floating 'to-do bar' which will sometimes disappear, then come back from nowhere share.  I'm so frustrated because I often use this second 'taskbar'.  I find it very convenient because I can resize and customize it as I want.  The problem is I don't know even how it got there, or why he disappears sometimes, and then, also without warning, all the icons will also disappear.  Where this secondary "taskbar" is, how it works, and why the quick launch icons, I put here change order and/or disappear, sometimes simply restarting the machine.  I spend a lot of time trying to get it back, but can't understand how it works.  In addition, on the primary 'taskbar' that contains the Start button, the notification icons are not always available.  In particular, the Volume and network icons become grey and unselectable when I go to properties.  Anyone can help to explain this strange behavior and whence this second 'to-do bar '?  Thank you!

Thanks for the response and feedback.  I am happy to know that you have taken by the suggestion to create a folder icon to restore more easily.

Unfortunately, the problem of notification icon is widely known and I have seen no response that even come close to being reasonable (or is downright wrong, misleading or dangerous).  I think it's just a random glitch in the system that we must learn to live with.

I'm sorry, that you do not find the toolbar that you liked.  If you remember the features on what you have liked to have available, you can create your own toolbar and include these features and all the others that you would like to have. Here's how: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/73583-taskbar-toolbars.html.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Why 3 images appear in the quick launch instead of one?

I installed Firefox 14.0.1 and when I click on the first time on the quick launch icon and Firefox loads correctly, immediately 3 layers of the icon images appear on the quick launch. and when I 'RED X' out and go back in I get a half of the screen of my favorites in gray!

  • Went quick launch

XP Pro SP3. Two monitors. Left, one is the main. Don't know what happened. My quick launch area disappeared. I have looked in the help and aid section and made the following help and section for help:

To display the Quick Launch bar

    1. Right-click the taskbar, and then click Properties.
    2. Taskbar tab, select the show quick launch check box, and then click apply.

I tried to drag a program to the quick launch area, but no go.

    The other post:

After reading the responses, I think I used the wrong terminology. I have the programs below the clock. I used to have, it belongs on the programs start. I think of two different things?

No IT Department. don't have windows blinds. We are a small company of office of 3 people. This happened when the owner bought a 21 "monitor used for my system to use 2 monitors.

He installed a map bi-ecrans $ 10 on the motherboard of Geek free store here. People make a donation of computers and they sell parts.  Good things at low cost.

I installed the drivers updated to the Board of Directors. He has installed this program of "Ultramon" http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/ to do both. It worked fine and quick launch was there but he had 30-day free trial, I think it's when quick launch has disappeared.

I suspect that this is the problem. Thank you all. I'll explore this avenue more far.

  • Error "failed to create quick launch bar.

My Quick Launch bar disappeared.  I tried the procedure published by Microsoft in the registry and it still does not work.  I even uninstalled Windows 8 to return to Windows 7 and did not help.  Nothing seems to work.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Guessing 'Windows 8 come back back to Windows 7' should be 'Internet Explorer 8 to return to Internet Explorer 7 "?

Create a folder named "Quick launch" at the following location:

    "C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\.

So the WHOLE PATH would be:

    "C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\"

    Restart after you do this.

    Hello Hassan.

Thank you for using the Microsoft answers Forum

Start by making a right click on the taskbar, and then select Properties. Select the tab, Notification area and choose Volume under the icons in the system. That should put back your icon on the status bar at the bottom right of your screen. If she does not please repost here and let us know.

    I hope this helps!
