Quickly switch to the Japanese or Chinese keyboard

Hi, I updated my Z3 Xperia to Android 5.0 and I wonder if there is a way to flip the Italian keyboard to the keyboard Chinese or Japanese. With the previous version of Android, I could pull down the notification bar, and to change the method of entry, but with the last update, there is no more this possibility. I have to go to settings > language & entry > current keyboard and change the keyboard here. So boring and tedious!
Is there an easy way to do it? If not, I suggest to fix this in the next update because this way is very very uncofortable for people who write in different languages in the same text. Tanks!

Hello

It is also possible in Android 5.0. If you go to a new text message > press once the "writing TEXT" field so that your keyboard appear > lower-right to navigation (back button, home and these latest app) of the bar, you should see a keyboard, if you type on this keyboard, you can change in Chinese/Japanese.

If you do not see the keyboard, I am referring to, go to settings > language & entry > current keyboard > choose keyboards > activate Chinese/Japanese.

  • How to disable the emoji on Chinese keyboard?

I used the Chinese keyboard on OS X El Captian. When I was typing some Chinese characters, the emoji always appear at the top, but I never use it. • I'm trying to get the Japanese keyboard IMU on a normal keyboard, but its does not work. What should I do?

I can select, but when I try to type something it appears in normal English?

    Hi Kai,

Thanks for posting the query on Microsoft Community.

It seems that you want to write in Japanese using your keyboard, you have added the language, but then he wrote also in English.

Please follow the troubleshooting methods to give here.

Method 1: Change the language (overview) bar.

The language bar is a toolbar that appears on your desktop automatically when you add services text, such as languages, keyboards, speech recognition, handwriting recognition, or input method editors (IME). The language bar provides a quick way to change the layout of keyboard or the input language of your office.

See the link given here to change the language bar.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/the-language-bar-overview

Method 2: Change the layout of the keyboard.

You can configure your keyboard to use another language or a keyboard layout, such as the Canadian international, Spanish or United States-Dvorak. A large selection of keyboard layouts is installed with the Microsoft Windows operating system.

Check out the link provide here to change the keyboard layout.

I hope that solves your problem, please write to us if you have any other issue of Microsoft related to Windows.

  • The Japanese keyboard layout

I bought a T61p American and I was wondering if it was possible to replace the keyboard for one with a provision of the Japanese. Lenovo has never done this kind of part for her?

  • Switching between the quick adjustment sliders

I've always used Adobe Camera RAW rather than Lightroom and keep people telling me how great Lightroom is.  I always thought that both programs were essentially the same, but it does things in different ways, that's why when Lightroom was released I don't bother watching it, 'if it isn't broken"etc.

Well one reason I want to explore changing is that Adobe Camera RAW is VERY very laggy and Lightroom seems to be more keen to make adjustments to images.

    Just one problem though!

In ACR I uses a Wacom stylus to draw culture boxes, do zoom and the adjustment brush among other things.  To adjust the images I use the keyboard tab key to switch between the sliders to increase or decrease exposure etc.  It's fantastic; as I cursors stored almost in their order, I can look at the picture of all the time and move the sliders around using only the tab key.  In Lightroom however I can't switch between the sliders with the tab key and must watch the sliders (rather than the image) to enable a cursor and make an adjustment.  It's very frustrating and counterintuitive to effectiveness of time I have spend more time to a cursor to click on it instead of simply by pressing the tab once, twice etc. depending on which slider I selected.  If I use SHIFT and tab together that I can go back the other direction.

Is there a way to Lightroom to switch between the sliders without having to always click on them?  It's extremely annoying.

I thought about it.  In ACR you need to do is press the tab key to switch between the sliders in LR you first click in a box to the number (one) before it you can use the tab key to switch between the sliders and then use the arrow keys to make adjustments - Hooray!

  • Keyboard shortcut to switch between the dialog box option buttons

Usually, you can switch between the radio buttons in a dialog on Mac using the Tab key. But this does not work for me in Photoshop dialog boxes, including the dialog box for canvas turning. On windows, its so useful to use keyboard shortcuts to switch between 'Clockwise' and 'Left' in the rotation dialog box.

How to use keyboard shortcuts to switch between the radio buttons in a dialog box in Photoshop?

In the Mac system preferences > keyboard, you can set the Tab key to focus on all of the controls. (At the bottom of the dialog box). So I can tab over an option button in Firefox preferences and use the up/down arrow keys to move among option buttons.

So far, the problem is that Photoshop will not return to this setting. Tab is reserved for numeric fields only.

  • Keyboard shortcut to switch between the pixels and inches?

Does anyone know if a keyboard shortcut allowing me to switch between the pixels and inches in photoshop cs6/cloud?

You can change your keyboard Short and add your own shortcuts.  An easy thing to do would be to write a small script him would recover the units of Photoshop preferences and rule if its pixels switch in inches and if he switch inch toggle pixels between the two.  Once you have this script record an action that uses the scriot and assign a shortcut to the action key.

    if (app.preferences.rulerUnits==Units.PIXELS){app.preferences.rulerUnits=Units.INCHES;}
    else { if (app.preferences.rulerUnits==Units.INCHES){app.preferences.rulerUnits=Units.PIXELS;} }

  • Problem with the language of Chinese/Japanese in Essbase

    Hello
We have an obligation to indicate the name of the Alias of the members in different languages (German, Japanese, Chinese). I created an Application in Unicode Mode to handle this requirement. But when I keep the Table Alias Active as Japanese and Chinese, I do not see the text correctly I get some characters special, but in the German case, the values are displayed correctly.

I even saw the application of Sample_U which is the default Unicode application, it if I change the active table alias of Japanese and Chinese text is displayed correctly.

The application that I created and the Sample_U are on the same server Essbase.

  • Use the keyboard to switch to the next tab

I use ctrl + tab to switch to the next tab.
But this feature does not work since the first tab, only for all other tabs.

I have the Menu bar on.
I use alt + f to open the file menu, and so on for all the menus
Even this command only works for all tabs except the first.

I tried the shortcuts that you have provided on my Firefox. They seem to work fine.

This problem could be due to an extension you installed on Firefox. To see if this is indeed the issue, please try Firefox in Safe Mode.

  • is there a way to control windows media player from the keyboard so that I can make the transcript of what I listened without switching to the mouse a few seconds

I'm doing the transcription of some audio files that work with windows media player. IT takes too long to move back between the word document and the player controls. I must be able to slow down or stop the player every so often, with the use of the keyboard instead of the mouse every time.

    Hello

    see if they help you

All features and buttons in Windows Media Player are accessible to you by using the keyboard only. The player offers a variety of keyboard shortcuts for the more commonly used commands and buttons that you can use to control the player from your keyboard or with macros. Anyone?

    Thank you!

To type text in languages based on characters, Chinese and Japanese, for example your computer, follow these steps:

    1. open regional and Language Options by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click clock, language, and region, and then click regional and Language Options.

    2. click on the tab keyboards and languages and then click Change keyboards.

    3. under installed services, click Add.

    4. double-click on the Japanese (Japan), you want to add, double-click text services, that you want to add, select the text services options you want to add, and then click OK.

If you are not able to find it then you must install the Japanese language pack from the link below.

  • Helps the Japanese EMI/Office 2013

Here in 2013 and after change just bought win7pro to ultimate for $125 thought that the Japanese addit would work, but not pay $25 more to do for Office Pro 2113 and weird in Japanese message forced me to change to 32 bit despite the Lenovo in 64-bit and the 64-bit ultimate and the place of keyboard (allows me to darken the Japanese but only gives me the choice blackened to 'delete' and no way to add) much less apply - have not eaten in a day with this nonsense that passes. XPpro if she had it all what he and I assumed that ms products would improve, but it's torture. What the hell is happening? I'm dead in the water, work on the most important series of books I've ever written, and MUST have my IME to return! Please, Microsoft, don't be so cruel to bilingual - USA can use some of them!

Should I reinstall Office? I am tired after all these zillion day updates. Ill try the technicians of tomorrow, but none of the guys knows a thing about it - you SHOULD put us to experts on Eastern asianlanguage packs activation or make it easy as it used to be.

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-windows_programs/cannot-add-Japanese-IME-in-Windows-7-Enterprise/180ad0b9-d983-4d77-AFFC-12710b6287a3  >

All's well that ends well - so read on if you have problems where it is useful.

You answer to seems weird, but as no one else has, and only me and a technician know what components are, here it is:

I had to not only to redo an other update of microsoft and find Japanese among the OPTION updates to windows, BUT AFTER IT, had to go to the office and pay $25 extra to download a Japanese language pack. Windows and Office are the one I thought, but they were NOT in fact.

Now that the download took almost half an hour, not 10 minutes, he argued and just at the end says it wasn't good, only 32-bit were OK and I chose 64. Why I still do not know. I chose 64 as my new Lenovo is 64 bit and my office has a 64 on the number and should be the same. Really weird, the announcement was made in a box written in Japanese! Luckily I can read. So I re-downloaded the 32 bit. (I guess the 64 is for Japanese os because he is smarter than what we run in English)

Following problem. I tried and tried to get the Japanese module that I had run = installed to become and other language in the settings of the keyboard that is in the regions and languages in the input control panel. I could darken the Japanese yet my only choice was to "Cancel". You geeks can laugh, but I didn't notice that I had to open the Japanese to choose from more options. Once the technician has found that it was easy. (But be careful, as the technicians don't know what are the asain language packs about and it seems that Microsoft a person to send people w specific problems concerning their, u have to be careful they do not turn on your display language (Japanese w it's unfortunate for reasons I do not know explaining).) Just be sure to get the Japanese as an extra keyboard allowed entry and open all lowercase +'s to do.  After that, be sure to do a restart.  I tried first on Word and the bar of the EMI was there but eventually everything that I typed = that's fine! = right on top of my trash can w Win7ult a drinking glass (that means that spit us in it?). See if this happens to you, otherwise restart first then it will be fine and I see a response more rapid switching languages in Outlook and Gmail. So, if someone is suffering, don't worry! Hope MS combined with Lenovo, etc for sale ready to go in bilingual mode PC, so nobody gets hurt (and skinny) lose weight as I have just to get a pc working properly. Now to try to export my xp IME dictionary to add some intelligence to the program. Keep your fingers crossed.
