QuickTime is an Apple product; It does not come with Windows 7. You will have
need to download and install from the web site of Apple to the appropriate address.

  • Premiere Pro won't unzip in Quicktime lossless

Here is a link to a compressed video clip produced by Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 via Media Encoder. The link takes you to a download page of Google Docs.

    https://docs.Google.com/leaf?ID=0b-ytQ6uGyvnPM2IyNWJhMjYtZDFkYS00NWU1LTlhZjQtNDczOWYwMjZiY WEy & hl = en

The problem is to know how to convert this file into an acceptable format for a bluray disc Replicator, which has also a bluray authoring easier.

The clip comes from a plu rendering of a length of more than 5 hours documentary. This clip is a little more than 20 seconds. He was cut by the largest documentary video produced by Media Encoder, the Cup was carried out using tsmuxer. This clip contains details of rich fine text fonts. When this is played on the PS3 the text reproduced very well and is readable. The problem is that the factory said that this compression codec is not supported by one of its software, so the documentary file can not be read and processed. He suggested decompression of quicktime or avi, its software that can read and process. When I unzip the text appear unreadable in Quicktime 7 Pro or Microsoft Media Player, as well on Windows Vista.

    Here are more details.

I made my documentary project using Media Encoder ' H264 Bluray". The factory says that Sonic Scenarist used for the creation of this compression States Media Encoder cannot be understood. It is not a valid stream bluray or any type of flow that Scenarist can understand. The factory also maintains that he can use Cinevision do any compression from uncompressed media.

    I have therefore 2 options.

First is to find a method of compression in Media Encoder that maintains the text as it is readable and that compression is readable by Scenarist and Cinevision.

Second continue to try to produce a file unzipped to Cinevision.

The nature of the clamp and the project is high definition PAL 1920 x 1080 25 frames per second, as I said this is supposed to be a bluray h264 video stream but is not, maybe BDAV, BDMV rather than and the former is only suitable for duplication not replication and replication is the only method for the reproduction of a commercial scale.

I also add here decompression Quicktime settings trying to get Media Encoder to decompress its own compression. So the output of the proposed amendment was then brought in another project of Premiere Pro, the sole purpose of the project is decompression.

    Download.html.png

It is in fact a copy of a notice on how to implement decompression. So ignore the file name.

The symptom of a bad decompression is that when I play the file in quicktime format uncompressed in Quicktime 7 Pro on Vista with hardware acceleration enabled in preferences and with maximum buffering of the text is therefore more readable. A snapshot of the video the compressed tiff is readable, so the compressed input file includes data here. Appearance corrupt in Quicktime is identical to one aspect of the freeze frame on the Playstation 3, that is to say that when I play the clip compressed on the PS3, the text is readable until end of clip that how the PS3 continues to show the end frame, the individual end frame is not readable but looks the same as the animated clip decompressed during playback to QuickTime. This may be a clue. Decompression may be actually OK but Quicktime just not anime images correctly.

Another point is that the compressed video does not correctly animate on the PC either, you have to play on the PS3 for it to animate properly. Then unzipped the files not recognized by PS3 avi and quicktime.

I tried various other cuts of Media Encoder for this part of the project, there is no other compression settings that keep the text legible, not that I can find.

I also tried to make the change directly in quicktime chilled out but that was a complete disaster, totally distorted Media Encoder documents that are displayed in the documentary.

The reason why I have provided the clip is so that you can download yourself and work directly on it yourself to test theories you have and to study its properties.

Good luck and thanks in advance!

How to stop Windows Live to import stuff on my camera card in this format and do it in the format of 'just '?

    =========================================
I was wondering what version of Windows are you using? XP, Vista, 7

Sorry... but with the .mov files, the conversion is the only solution.

Here is a way to convert online so that you won't have to
    Download and install a software:

Try the following free online Converter:

    Media-Convert
    http://media-convert.com/

    Apple Quicktime conversion instructions

    (1) in the field "File"... click on "Browse".
button and navigate to the .mov file you
you want to convert. When you select the
file... the path will appear in the field "File".

    (2) the "Input format" field should automatically
show... Let it 'Apple Quicktime (.mov)'
    as it is...

    (3) "output size" has two windows...
does not display the field on the left, "no video".
    PRESET"... leave it as what...

    (4) in the next to move to the right window
You can choose the format you want
    convert... try:

    Windows Media Video (.wmv)

    (5) on the left, click on the blue * OK button.
(sometimes the site is busy... If the conversion fails... try again)

Now... wait as the file to be converted.
    (be patient)

Once the conversion is completed, you will see:

    File converted successfully!

Your file will appear right of a little green
... left click on the file name... save it as
... appears on the left, click on the "Save" button.
Choose a folder to save in (I always download)
on my desk)... on the left, click on the "Save" button.

When the file is downloaded, you should be able
to play with Windows Media Player and it should
    be compatible with Movie maker.

    That's all! Good luck.
