Quiz button text - centering

Hello

I had this nested in an old post and apologize for the duplicate entry, however I really need help.

When I first create a quiz I have nice looking buttons like those shown below.

1.jpg

If I can go to another breakpoint buttons resize to be too small, as shown in the image below. The buttons are the same (too small) back at the office, breakpoint as well.

2.jpg

When you try to resize the buttons that they only resizing framed on the left. as shown in the image below.

3.jpg

It is not anywhere in the object Style Manager which allows you to Center justify text.

4.jpg

How do you get decent buttons to research on quizzes of your sensitive project?

Thank you

Tony

-With the help of Captivate with reactive model

It turns out that option "automatic resizing buttons" in the preferenaces was the reason why the buttons shrunk down to the size of the text. Uncheck the button and make an another new quiz page and they don't resize.

  • Show/hide actions according to percentage result CP5 quiz button

    Hello

I read the various messages on the display to a file in case of success of a quiz, and how to create actions combined with a new slide with buttons to go to another slide.

However, none of these options has solved my problem.

I need a certificate to display (currently on a slide, but could be an external PDF I guess) if the user gets a passing grade.

I have a slide with two buttons (because I can not add a button on a quiz results slide)

"one for ' Get certificate ' happening to the slide with the certificate (the button Get_cert item name)

a single button for "quiz Retry" (element name retry_quiz) which refers the user to the slide corresponding to the first random question slide

So I have written/built advanced actions:

If cpQuizInfoPassFail is equal to 1

    See the Get_cert

    Hide retry_quiz

    If cpQuizInfoPassFail equals 0

    See the retry_quiz

    Hide Get_cert

But when I run the project in Premiere, when I'm on the pass mark, the two continue buttons to display. (and even when I do not see)

I could have missed something obvious realllllly, so please put me right!  Amybe that's to do with AS3?

    See you soon,.

    Hello

I don't want to not pop, because I suspect other issues? Can I ask you a few questions?

    1. What is the default status of these two buttons on the additional slide? It must be configured for both at the Invisible in the properties panel.
    2. This action must be triggered by entering the slide with the buttons, as suggested. But I am a little confused by you the description of the action, would have preferred that you posted a screenshot of the action. You define two decisions? Normally you might have solved that with a single decision (see the screenshots)
    3. Did you allow that several attempts in Quiz preferences? Don't forget to delete the revision Quiz, so that the user does not use this button to return to review his answers.
    4. It's probably superfluous, you have configured the two buttons to access the right slide?

I just tried the workflow in a small example and it worked perfectly. Here are the screenshots of the tip action I started entering the slide with the two buttons.

I'm sorry that my current connection does not allow me to download the screenshots. It is my Advanced action ' Passed):

    IF

    cpQuizInfoPassFail is equal to 1

    THEN

See the Get_cert Get_cert = label of the first button, initially hidden; button = certificate text

hide retry_quiz retry_quiz= the second button, initially hidden label; button text = Retry

    ON THE OTHER

    See retry_quiz

    hide Get_cert

  • View the resume Quiz button

    Adobe captivate 9

I checked the 'Resume Quiz button display '.  However, how do I know the button to start at the beginning of the quiz?  At this time the Start button on the slide.  Any ideas?

The Retake button Reset all the answers in the quiz slides and return the user to the first marked point or question slide. Nothing else to do which allows multiple attempts on Quiz level and by checking the option to show a recovery button. The recovery button should disappear when the Quiz level attempts are exhausted. I don't understand what you're trying to explain. Can you give more details?

You can check the Advanced Interaction Panel: you will find it all marked.

  • Captivate 9: How do SmartShape converted search style by default Quiz button button

I created a SmartShape and converted into a button for use on slides (the continue button on the right in the photo below). All the features works well. I just need to make the button continue SmartShape look like the button again the assessment with the bevel effect. I don't see a way to do this. It seems not that I can apply the "Default Quiz button Style" at the SmartShape button. I don't see a way to manually add a bevel effect to the SmartShape button and I don't see a way to remove the wedge of iron the evaluation key. Whatever the solution, I just need the buttons to look the same. Is this possible? What Miss me it please?

If you turn the button continue in a Transparent, set Alpha to 0 and width of line 0 button, it will always be on top of the stack, because it is an embedded object. Create an image that looks like the original key and that showed with the fast action.

  • Adobe Acrobat Form - button, text box and tick value math

Hello, I need help with these:

I have a button, text field, and the box.

I want the button to increase the value of text by 8 every time on it, but only up to 44. So if his 37-44, whenever you click the button, it will change to 44, not more.

The checkbox when checked, increases the value of text by 2 (one-timer before form reset, should not interfere with the manual rewrite future box or button clicks).

If the checkbox is not possible, at least the 0-44 button is important. So far, I have:

    var oFld = this.getField ("Spell");

    If (IsNaN (oFld.value))

    oFld.value = 0;

    on the other

    oFld.value += 8;

    Thank you!

Just add at the end of your code:

    If (oFld.value > 44) oFld.value = 44;

  • How can I make the quiz button download the image appear?

    Hello.

I am trying to replace the button 'Submit' I use in a quiz, but the button to download a new button does not appear. Here is a screenshot so you can see what I mean:

    Untitled-1 copy.jpg

The button normally appear to the right of the drop down list 'Button Type', but is no longer. I tried the following hotfixes, which none have worked:

    -Resizing of the window

    -Closing and reopening of Captivate

    -Clear cache project

    -Remove temporary files

    -Deletion of the folder, preferably

Any thoughts on what I can do? Because there is a "submit" button quiz, I'm unable to download the button image and use a place-clickbox.

    I use 7 Captivate.

    Thank you.

The Send button is an embedded object (has no separate scenario) all quiz slides, the most important of them because you should never delete to avoid the screwing of the functionality of the Question slides.

You don't say HOW you tried to achieve this goal? You can check the style of the buttons of the Quiz in the Style of the object manager?

Another solution would be to use an image and do the quiz button style so that it is invisible (no label, no fill, no stroke). To output SWF button will remain active.

  • Resume Quiz button goes to good question 1, but then displays the content between the questions in the module

    I am using Captivate 8, win 7 64 bit

I have 4 modules with graded questions after each module. When I click on the Retake Quiz button on the failure of quiz, I got properly into question 1/quiz module 1. But after receiving questions from module 1, I am taken to the content of module 2. Etc.

How to display only the questions about the failure of quiz? The revisions quiz option on doing just that - questions only - no intermediate content.  Why not the possibility to resume the Quiz?

    Thanks for your help!

    SMILES,

    Susann

Sorry, it's the design of slides of the Quiz, fairly strict rules. You can replace it using a conditional or shared tip action on enter for each or the first, according to the linearity of the course, slide after a slide of questionnaire content. There is a variable cpInfoAttempts of system quiz that is incremented each time you click the button back. It has the value 1, the first time you take the test. If you create a condition like "IF cpInfoAttempts is greater than 1, you know you're in at the second attempt. At this point, you can jump to the first question slide in module 2.

  • Resume Quiz button not displaying when published

I use 8 Captivate and Retake Quiz button does not appear when I publish the course. Nobody knows what can happen?

How many attempts do you allow in Quiz preferences, the Quiz level?

  • I deleted my review quiz button!

I deleted my accident review quiz button... and now I can't get it back.  It gives me an option to indu.  I want students to be able to examine their incorrect answers after taking the quiz.  How can I get it back?  Can I add my own?

Check the Quiz preferences, settings and "Allow users to Review Quiz". It is an object embedded with a very specific feature, you will never be able to add a custom button that does the same thing.

  • After update CP8 8.0.1.242 Quiz buttons disappear

I installed the latest patch yesterday. Before the patch, I published my quiz and everything worked fine except the audio from the last slide would start after the first correct answer (no idea why). After the patch all my quiz buttons disappear. These are custom image buttons that replace the original CP buttons. Someone had a similar problem?

I ended up installing a CP8 and re - install it and now everything seems to work as a graph (fingers crossed).

  • Captivate Review Quiz button

    Hello everyone

Have created a quiz in Captivate, I'll settle for the user to review quiz if they. (90% success rate so I want to see what questions they got wrong).

I don't want the user to review quiz if they fail (because this will show them the right answers, effectively allowing them to cheat their way through the quiz twice).

If someone could please give me an answer to my question, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

Ok. Well in this case you will need using Variables and advanced Actions.

You cannot selectively DISPLAY the Review Quiz button on the Quiz results slide, and can hide under something other than one of the components of this slide (that's why I suggested using the Retake Quiz button) by default.

You must have a variable of follow-up that record whether the user past the quiz for beginners.  Have this variable set to 0 by default, and 1 on slide enter Quiz slide results (using a conditional action) IF the student passes the course.

If the user clicks the review Quiz button, it will take the learner to the first quiz question and also set a System Variable Captivate following if the user is in view.  You can run a conditional action by slide enter each question quiz to check if the learner is in playback Mode, and whether or not they have passed the quiz before allowing them to post the question quiz in review slide. If they have not passed the test yet, then the conditional action must jump them to a slide that tells them that they must pass the test before trying to see him.

Quite frankly, I'd rather give of the learner 2 or 3 more attempts at the quiz (via a Retake Quiz button) before forcing them to redo everything.

  • Return to the Navigation of the Quiz button

Where is the Retake Quiz button on the result page of the quiz that is supposed to run the user when he clicks on it?  I wish I could change the result of this button to access a specific page.  Currently, it seems to direct them to a page that is a few slides before my quiz, but has nothing to do with the quiz.  I have no idea why it does not there or how to change the navigation for her.

    Thank you!

    David

If you allow moving backward in Quiz preferences, Yes, user will be able to move in the range Quiz. Might suggest to view the playback on the content slides bar, so that the user can skip certain slides quickly and then hide it when you go behind the scenes of the real question.

  • HIGHLIGHTS HD Blu - ray DVD project - built at-SD and BUTTON TEXT

I use Encore CS4 on a Mac Pro running 10.6.5. I drafted a Blu - ray and built my menu inside Photoshop CS4. The menu is 1920 x 1080 and has several buttons text. The buttons are consisting of a layer group ' (+) button name ' with a text on the inside layer. Initially, I selected the option 'Create text subpicture' for each button on the inside yet. I tried later to create inside each button subpicture layers defined in photoshop by creating "(= 1) button subpicture" layers within each group of 'name of the button (+)'.

I have set up my games color and in the preview again and engraved on a Blu - ray disc button highlights look crisp and clear. I then try to generate output of DVD on a DVD format disc. My highlights of the menu are very irregular and the edges of the text seem to be cut off (I see the color of the normal state).

I made sure to disable antialiasing on all my text buttons. I also expect a lot of reminder of the downscaling ability? If I resize my menu from 1920 x 1080 to 720 x 480 and replace it BY NTSC widescreen in Photoshop and then start with a new DVD project in everything seems fine. I hope not having to rebuild the chapter menus and button routing every time I create a project both BD and DVD.

The buttons of my chapter menus work fine. Don't know what the difference with the exception of a different color welcomes you. I compared the menus in photoshop and all settings appear to be the same.

The downscaling of the menus again from HD to SD quality is absolutely horrible. That's why I always build separate projects for Blu - ray and DVD, despite the ability of the program to output DVD and Blu - ray for a single project. You will get much better quality by reduction of scale your menus in Photoshop.

My company creates motion menu to recall model kits, and we create a separate button for each format highlights (HD, SD, PAL) in Photoshop for our products, simply because of the unacceptable quality of the downscaling of the still.
