  Apparently the white theme was messed up, because the button is gone. Themes that you work with are in a file copied to the assets\Layouts of public documents\Adobe\eLearning. You will probably see that the date on the White.cptm has been changed. You can restore the original theme to the original Layouts folder that you find in the Captivate under the Gallery installation folder. • Captivate 8 - is possible to customize quiz review slides?

  Does anyone know where should I go to if I want to change the display of the quiz review slides? I would like to change the look of 'x' and check marks. Is it possible to do? As I couldn't find it in the master slides.

  When you use the quiz review options and try again for training online, the quiz button try again shows that when a user fails a quiz. If the user at the first click on button of revision quiz quiz try again button is no longer available when the user returns to the quiz results slide. So I still need some sort of help to find ways to allow people to review and to resume the quiz without getting stuck.

  In my course, I hide the quiz of revisions on the button under the Retake Quiz button.  This means that unless the user has exhausted all right tests or managed to passed the test of course, they do not see the button Quiz review at all.

  When, however, the end user decides to "Revise" the quiz, he or she is taken to the first question of the quiz. Also, it works as expected.

  However, this first slide review (question 1), the 'Back' button appears, and no other button, which was previously available on the quiz slides, is available.

  The only reason I can think of, is that you messed up with the objects on slides of quiz/partition. Those are the objects/buttons that do not have a separate timeline in the slide, or model of slides. This is the case for the four buttons. The only way to get rid of those (is not possible for the button send, but that one disappears during the review), is using the checkbox in the properties (for Clear, Next) or the setting in Quiz preferences (for the back). If you want to that review, do not keep the next button, though it doubles Skip during Quiz. If you don't want to allow the Skip function, drag the next button under the Clear button (keep this one) and as Clear also disappears during the exam, the next button becomes automatically visible.

  I want to create an e-learning module, where we show some videos and then have a short questionnaire, then more videos (to explain the next chapter) and a quiz and so on...

  As I understand it, you can only have 1 quiz in 1 project. That's fine, since you may have other slides between the quiz slides. But if I do it like that, the review becomes uncertain, since you have to click and watch videos of each chapter instead of simply review your answers.

  How should I structure my project so that I can have quiz slides between video chapters and were still reviewing jump videos and display only the answers?

  Since you don't mention the version you're using, then guess what CP8, which means that you have the variable cpInReviewMode of available system. You will need to create a conditional action advanced (or shared) to trigger on Enter for each slide content you want to ignore, or, if the course is essentially linear, to trigger on enter to the first slide of content of a sequence:

  IF cpInReviewMode is equal to 1

  Jump to...     When you specify the label of the slide or the next Quiz slide number

  I am using Captivate 6 (trial version) and am testing the ability of connection following this tutorial ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-_Ja8vlZQw). The Branch works, but if I get at the end of my quiz and then select "Review Quiz", it shows ALL the slides, including those that should NOT appear because the user selected options that did not trigger.  

  In addition, it seems that the maximum score on the results slide includes the notes of the user could get on leaves, they never see because of the branching: (.)

  That's what I should have asked immediately, then only system variables will be adapted to the branching.

  Try a restart of power: press and hold the sleep/wake and Home buttons and do not let go until the screen darkens and the Apple logo appears (no data is lost)

  When I try to send a presentation Keynote to Quicktime or share on YouTube the first slide hangs and never advance to another even if I scroll to slide following progress very well. Not sure why I can't get anything beyond the first slide. Seems to me theres a bug in Keynote. All advice is appreciated!

  It is a common super bug. My solution is to make just a live show recording so I can advance the slides when I choose manually. Good luck!

  Hello, I have a thin dark grey bar which crosses the bottom of my first slide (like a windows taskbar). It is only on the first slide, and that's on top of my background image. I assumed it was something to do with a game bar, but I removed the playback controls in the skin Editor.

  However, this bar is always on the first slide.

  I have no idea what it's called or how to get rid of.

• First slide and following slides are different sizes at the launch of the server web file .swf

  We use CP5.5, and a .cptx file has been published in .swf. When played locally, he plays very well. However, during the launch of our server web, the first slide is displayed correctly, but all the following slides are huge on the screen and playback controls and half of the screen are not available.   If this isn't HTML, you will have to leave checked AutoPlay. Normally SWF-output supports automatic playback. Check the preview in the browser instead of draft Preview.

  Can you explain better? You ask "to last visited page/slide" but since the beginning of your question, I realized that this is the first slide? What do you really want?

  How to distribute answers quiz sequence vertically on the slide?  Of response boxes are all locked together, moving one of them moves all, but I would like to separate them and spread them out from each other.

  It has been possible in previous versions, but for some reason, they changed the model of slides, layout, put two answers in a non resizable box in the response box (which can be resized). And spacing didn't affect the lines of text within a single answer, oddly on the spacing between the answers. I tried all sorts of workarounds without a good result. I'm really sorry.

  The Question

  Anyone running in this number of the first slide shows on HTML5 (or SWF) until you open the table of contents and select the recalcitrant zipper and then it shows (and works) very well? Not on project load, just at the time when it is selected.

  I use only 8 Captivate for a short period of time, and I ran face first in a bit of a bigger obstacle than I expected. At the present time, I have a simple linear Captivate project containing essentially a Powerpoint (customer specified). Everything worked fine until I tried a preview of HTML 5 to 8 Captivate and first slide does not show. After that some research my solutions to the problems that I encountered were to:

  • Local preview sometimes causes a glitch. Solution: Publish locally and (pre) discovers the result. It did not work.
  • Group all the objects on the first slide, and then attach the Show action to this group. This corrects the problem.

  After that I published on a host server (server test for the moment, but in the end, it will be the direct dev server). I met the same problem, so:

  • Tried the Group thing, above. No joy.
  • Open the table of contents and navigated to other slides. None of the buttons (previous slide, next slide) worked.
  • Renamed the "Mouse.mp3" to remove that annoying click. Result: All buttons worked on the project, but the first slide showed (grouped or another).
  • Removed all the objects on the slide of the slide. No joy.
  • Removed the button (action: next slide) and reduces the time of reading of the slide to 5 seconds so that the blade will play during the loading, then just go to the next slide. No joy.
  • This SWF and HTML 5 publication tried.
  • All this with only tried SWF.

  Again, when I open the table of contents and go to the first slide ("Page title") the blank slide that is filled only by lonely borders becomes the title slide, as it should. Furthermore, glimpse local file (\project\index.htm) works very well.

  Of course, Miss something. It's probably something incredibly obvious, so I thank you for your patience.
