R12 Applications Patch
Hello
I need clarification on the benches of R12 applied,
We are multi nodes, node 1 for applications and 1 for the database.
We migrate successfully target R12 application to the new server, but since the new target server is not completely ready we retain the data synchronization process to the new application system.
While we are waiting, the source application are being patched for several times.
so I ask could we also apply the patch even to the target application that uses the same databases?
Thank you
Hendra
Yes, you can apply the patches by using nodatabaseportion - AD Options option command line for the version R12 [1078973.1 ID]
Thank you

The work-around, I knew was to recreate a link to libXtst.so.6:
remove the /usr/lib/libXtst.so.6 link
ln-s /usr/X11R6/lib/libXtst.so.6.1 /usr/lib/libXtst.so.6After the restoration of links to the motif version I have re-directed the "sh. / patch.sh ' and it is completed successfully.
Is it a good or recommend get around them?
Simple I'll link /usr/lib/libXtst.so.6-> libXtst.so.6.1.0? And then move on.
Please notify.
I would like to know if it is correct.

You should not rollback, just keep it like that now.

R12 - install, Patch and maintain. Is this necessary?

Issue of R12 Applications login page
Hi all
We have a strange problem with the login page of the applications, whenever we submit the credentials to the login page it up "404 page not found error" and refresh (refresh page) it will take you to the same login page. After submitting credentials, this time (second time), the user is authenticated successfully. This problem was reported by most of the users to access the applications. I would like to know, how to overcome this problem.

Connection problem in an environment of shared R12 Application tier
Hi all
I'm on the release of ebs R12.1.3 and have implemented shared Application layer by adding an another node (apps02) to the existing instance of ebs on node1 (apps01). On node1 (apps01), we have hosted DB services both Apps.
As part of the configuration of the shared Application layer, I activated all the services on the node (apps02) newly added as well, now whenever I access the node (apps01) URL(apps01.oracle.com:8000) first it is redirected to the second node's (apps02) URL(apps02.oracle.com:8000). I see no problems with this configuration when services on the nodes are running, but when node2 (apps02) services are down, that I'm not able to access the applications with URL(apps01.oracle.com:8000) of node1. Please suggest how to overcome this problem.

Moore,
A plan to have two web-level nodes? If Yes, then I think you need a load-balancer using Load-balance with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 (Doc ID 380489.1)
If you want to keep all traffic goes to apps01, then run AutoConfig on this node, bounce the services and then check.

Kind regards
MuthuMuthu,
He is here to confuse as Gyan mentioned anything that you should not use two packages
and if your custom page is xxfls,
your page should be there in my projects/xxfls/oracle/apps/po/applications/webui/Test323PG
and package for the controller and the AM must be xxfls.oracle.apps.po.requisitions.webui, xxfls.oracle.apps.po.requisitions.server
Therefore, your change functionMake your directory and packages as above and the test page.
Thank you.
With respect,

R11 in English American r12 upgrade patch driver error
Salvation;
Is my old version 11.5.10.2 with 10.2.0.3 database... and I want to upgrade r12... and I went through some steps and now I'm in this procedure:
Run the upgrade of American English patch driver
CD $AU_TOP/patch/115/pilot
options adpatch = nocopyportion, nogenerateportion
Please enter your AutoPatch driver file name: u4440000.drv
while I do this patch starts and it gives me this error
ATTENTION: all workers have failed or are pending:
IMPOSSIBLE: folder csddrpid.sql worker 1.
IMPOSSIBLE: folder csrdrop.sql worker 2.
I have try adcrtl, but it is not solved my problem. I checked the log of the patch file, but there is no further details. It shows the same error... I looked metalink but can't find anything about this error
Anyone have idea?
Thank you very muchHelios,
If you go to 12.0.4, you will need to apply u6394500.drv driver. I think that u4440000.drv is the pilot to upgrade to R12 (12.0) but not 12.0.4
Kind regards

VDHello
but I'm a new plan for oracle apps... can you please guide me on how to run the automatic configuration to stop all the services?
You must run the script of adautocfg.sh under the INST_TOP/admin/scripts directory $.
Note: 387859.1 - AutoConfig helps manage system Configurations in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12

Hi all
Can I apply more than one patch as in:
adoption phase = apply patches = < patch_number1 >, < patch_number2 >
If one of the patches is a condition sine qua non of the other?
Kind regards
JC
Hello Jenna.
I don't know what you mean by cleaning of the instance. adoption will take care your objects/editions adoption phase cleaning in-house cleaning =.
Not sure if you're talking about cycle empty patching in adoption.
Kind regards

Hi all
Trying to update 10.3.5 WLS version to 10.3.5.1.
(1) downloaded ML patch files.
(2) copied in cache_dir/bsu-MW_HOME
cache_dir] $ ls
p12617751_1035_Generic.zip patch - catalog_15998.xml V9XT.jar
As you can see, the files are there.
However,.
(1) SMART UPDATE GUI does not recognize the file... as I am offline.
(2) the CMD line install also fails:
BSU] $. /BSU.sh-prod_dir=/U01/Oracle/middleware/wlserver_10.3.5 - patchlist = V9XT-verbose - install
Encountered unrecognized patch ID: V9XT
Any ideas are appreciated...Hey BUD,
I see the name of the file you have is patch - catalog_15998.xml
Try renaming the file to patch - catalog.xml and reapply the patch.
I hope this helps.
