• Custom searches not synchronized: is there a way to do it?

  Here's my problem.
  I go to a website that offers a search engine: a site of translation (http://www.garzantilinguistica.it)
  I right-click on the text box to perform a search, then choose "add a keyword for this search...". ': Firefox asks me to save a bookmark and select a keyword to search using this "search engine".
  I then save this bookmark with the keyword "gli.
  Now, if I type 'gli myword' in the address bar, this site opens with the results searching for «myword» Large.

  However, now I have another instance of Firefox on another PC. The two instances are synchronized. After syncing, I find the bookmark to search garzantilinguistica.it on the second PC URL, too, and this bookmark has the keyword defined gli.
  However, if I try to enter 'gli myword' in the address bar of the second PC, Firefox doesn't make a search with garzantilinguistica.it for 'myword', but looking rather "gli myword" on Google.
  If I try to repeat the steps that I did on the first PC, Firefox asks me to add the garzantilinguistica.it search URL as a bookmark for the second time (which is not desirable, because it is already there, coming from the synchronization).

  So, is there a way to also synchronize the information in customized searches in all instances of Firefox synched?

• How can I delete google custom search bar of about: newtab page

  When I open Firefox or a new tab I updated: newtab which is great and all. Recently, I noticed a Google search bar on the new tab page, however, it immediately affect my cursor. I type in the address normal upstairs bar. If I do not do that tedious extra step click on the address bar before typing, it opens on Google Custom Search Engine. Has no images, maps, etc. the tabs along the top. Make a simple task to find something or other but just that much more boring to do, because I have to type in the address in bar.

  So I was hoping there is a way to remove this search bar Google annoying custom of my remarks: newtab?
  Or at least get my cursor in the address bar, not the bar Google Custom Search.

• Google Custom Search + the layer order?

  I took over a Web of Adobe Muse site built by someone else. There is a problem of overlap with a Google Custom Search box. (Html/shipped).

  When someone uses Google Custom Search functionality, search results appear in the content of the site. (Images, under the terms of the text, etc.)

  I've repositioned the Google custom search box in a whole new layer, positioned this new layer as the highest layer, and thought the problem would be to set. However, the problem is still there. What happens here? How can I get the search results for the priority layer?

I would like to know why it is not possible to specify the custom search engine that you were able to do in the latest version of Firefox.   TypeError message probably explains why you could not add the page of Mycroft search engine initially.

  When I search this exact error in Google, only that rolled up from July 2013:

  I want to add number of Site Search additiional. I tried to add a lookup field using customization, but the addition of the field does not appear on the screen. I tried to find out how the where clause is implemented through the related CO I found that the search fields are implemented using a matching HZ_ORG_SIMPLE_SEARCH_RULE rule.

  Found the solution...  Adding that it might be useful for others...

  Steps to follow:

  1. create the custom match rule by copying standard.

  2. add additional fields to the matching rule and specify a transform.

  3 compile the custom matching rule

  Finally, update the profile option to point to the custom matching rule. In my case it was HZ: associate the rule for the Simple and HZ research organization: associate the rule of advanced search for organisation

  I have the following requirement on the custom in UCM10g view...

  -> I'd like to create a view of the personalized search for the user. In this view, I want to the result fields should be displayed based on the profile trigger value.

  For example,.

  If the profile trigger value is instrument so I want A, B, C of fields to display.

  If the profile trigger value is triggerB then I want to E, F fields to be displayed on the custom view of search results.

  In the custom view creation page, I could see more advanced option of adding script IDOC but do not know how to set this up.

  Please advise me to go further.

  Please find the solution for the above scenario.

  1. create two rules (rule & rule B) with metadata appropriate to display in the search user interface. Provide the custom label for metadata that must appear in the search engine and the search results page.

  2 create two profiles (profile A & B) with each of the rules to create a smooth side of activation condition carte 'listTemplateId' on behalf of name of the customized results page template

  Example:

  listTemplateId = ViewA

  listTemplateId = ViewB

  3. create two custom results page view using the view of the title as a parent (see A & B). Set the fields to display for each with custom label if necessary.

  4 pne_portal.hda of file for the profile of the user needs an addition of two entries of list template customized.

  5. a "customlisttemplates" in the same folder location should be copied to other users which has two files holding the results of research of field definition.

  Now the custom search results page will be called automatically without changing the display.

  I created the custom text field, the custom data report and select link. I also have the web link to call the custom report.
  Now when I click on the web link, the custom report is open in a separate window. but when I click the link select column from the report, that nothing is happening.

  If I change the number of docs requested setting which is the third parameter of the doOracleSearch function, it always starts at 0, even I tried to change the second parameter that is for the start of the index.

  Can you expand on what you mean?

  To get the first page of 10 documents, you specify a starting index = 1 and the doc asked = 10.

  To get the second page, you must specify a beginning index = 11 and doc asked = 10.

  So "asked doc" (the third argument) is really the "page size".

  It's what you do, or you do something different?
