  When I open Firefox or a new tab I updated: newtab which is great and all. Recently, I noticed a Google search bar on the new tab page, however, it immediately affect my cursor. I type in the address normal upstairs bar. If I do not do that tedious extra step click on the address bar before typing, it opens on Google Custom Search Engine. Has no images, maps, etc. the tabs along the top. Make a simple task to find something or other but just that much more boring to do, because I have to type in the address in bar.

  So I was hoping there is a way to remove this search bar Google annoying custom of my remarks: newtab?

  I want to add number of Site Search additiional. I tried to add a lookup field using customization, but the addition of the field does not appear on the screen. I tried to find out how the where clause is implemented through the related CO I found that the search fields are implemented using a matching HZ_ORG_SIMPLE_SEARCH_RULE rule.

  Found the solution...  Adding that it might be useful for others...

  Steps to follow:

  1. create the custom match rule by copying standard.

  2. add additional fields to the matching rule and specify a transform.

  3 compile the custom matching rule

  Finally, update the profile option to point to the custom matching rule. In my case it was HZ: associate the rule for the Simple and HZ research organization: associate the rule of advanced search for organisation

  From the beginning: I tried to order an Alienware 17 '' two weeks ago. 26/08/2015, I got an email from Rahul M, with my name misspelled on it, saying I should call a strange number and confirm my credit card information (which are absurd, because my card company says that I have no problem with my card). These emails have been few visually gross, so I simply ignored him, assuming it was a very well done scam (wonder on how they could have so much personal information of my order, I searched on Google and I was shocked with so many attempts of scams following a similar model. "I guess we have a big problem on Dell customer service scams).

  'Form filling' uses a "frecency" algorithm, frequency + recency, similar to the list of AutoComplete address bar.

• Google Image Search shows only one page of results, then the gray boxes

  The solution is after loading the image (with the gray boxes) search result, just replace the https to http protocol in the browser's address bar. Which loads the remaining without problem images when you scroll to the bottom of the page.

  IE does not have the problem because it does not have this redirect. If you load a 'good' search results in Internet Explorer, then replace http with https in the address bar, the same problem occurs in Internet Explorer.

  So it's not anything related to the cache, cookies, or plugins or even FF FF. It's probably something in the firewall. I just posted it here because other people have been blaming FF for this problem (it is more likely to be seen in FF, because it was google redirect to https for 14.0.1).

  I'm having a problem using Google search on the web (toolbar and directly from google.com) in Firefox. When I search a keyword, lets say a company name and you wait to make appear the company Web site, the results include videos, articles, news, etc. None of the main company Web site are included in search results. There is no problem with Google web search in IE or Chrome.

  Here's a specific example: "Mozilla Firefox" in Google search you use Firefox there are some 31,600,000 results with the top 10 being random sites on Firefox browsers. When I search "Mozilla Firefox" in Google using IE, there are only some 130,000,000 (4 times more), with the best results being www.mozilla.org/and other Mozilla sites 'main '.

  I ran all the patches malware/Antivirus software recommended, reinstalled Firefox, update of a few add-ons/plug-ins I have, and made sure that Google search parameters are exactly the same for all browsers. Nothing works.

  Did anyone else encounter this problem or have a guess at what may be the cause of this? I have spent a few hours trying to fix it and am willing to give up Firefox, so far that is (was) my go to the browser.

  Please check if this happens in a new profile. If it's good, you can later copy the necessary personal data of the old profile. Firefox stores your personal data and settings to another separate location of the files/folder. A new profile would default Firefox settings (Tools (Alt + T) > Options, and topic: config ) and usually also would be vacuum of Extensions and themes (appearance) in tools > Add-ons) and their parameters.
