R12 homepage

Hi all

We have recently upgraded from 11i to R12 (12.1.3)

The appearance of the home page has been changed to R12. The browser of responsibility now has icons '+' we need to expand/collapse to navigate between functions in various responsibilities (I'm aware that a new browser is present at the top of the page).

Is there a profile or any other way to restore the appearance of the browser similar to the 11i a responsibility? For example only names of responsibility must be displayed on the left and clicking on all the functions should be displayed on the right...

Hello

The value ' FND: disable the Configurable Home Page' profile option true.

    Hello

The style of the homepage / menu style changed after we went to 12.1.3. Is it possible to return to the old style of the homepage?

    Thank you
    Aziz

    Hi Aziz

We had the same problem after upgrading to 12.1.3.

Here is some information on the problem.

    (1) If you want more information about it, search for 'configurable home page' on Metalink
for example, how change and enable the delivery of Configurable homepage Via 12.1.2 [1061482.1 ID]

    (2) upgrade R12.1.3 notes say... "The Configurable home page is now enabled by default in 12.1.3."

    (3) turn it off, to modify the following profile options.
    a. DNF: disable the Configurable homepage--> TRUE (this is important option)
    b. activate the Configurable home page - no. (this profile option is obsolete and should already be set to NO on your system).

    @Hussein snoussi

    Hi Hussein.

I don't know if I have well formulated in the title of this discussion. But I'll try to explain.

I have a problem on my TEST Oracle E-Business Suite R12.1.3 instance. Once the connection in the homepage, some forms are starting automatically opening. I don't know why, last week the system worked very well. This TEST instance is used by users to form.

How can I make sure that forms are open only when someone clicks on them? I don't want the forms to be bulging out automatically after someone connects.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Integration of Oracle Apex 4.0.2 with EBS R12.1.1

We could integrate Oracle Apex 4.0.2 with EBS R12.1.1 with the help of http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/apex/apex-ebs-wp-cabot-consulting-169064.pdf successfully.

The document said to navigate from EBS to Oracle Apex without any second login screen (works very well!), but now how we sail to EBS to Oracle Apex (in the same session) without any screen connection again as below

User login of EBS-->--> Oracle Apex-> EBS EBS

Please help to achieve this goal.

    Hello

In your application's authentication scheme in the sign-out URL Section, gives the following

    wwv_flow_custom_auth_std.logout_then_go_to_url?p_args=&APP_ID.:http://xyz.ck.com:8010/OA_HTML/OA.jsp?OAFunc=OAHOMEPAGE

Provide your url on ebiz instead of http://xyz.ck.com:8010 in the link above.

Thus, while pressing the logout link in your apex, you will not be redirected to login ebiz again page, it will be redirect you ebiz menu homepage back in the same session itself.

    This will work for sure.

    Good luck!!!

Change your login username of "805196" in a meaningful Word.

  • Default search engine & homepage

    I think I have a bug.

I have my default homepage set to MSN and Google search engine.  Since yesterday, whenever I open Safari, it opens on the Yahoo search engine.  Even when I do a search.  I checked the preferences of Safari and it still says MSN for the Home Page and of Google for my default search engine.

Unfortunately I don't have time capsule implemented so I don't think I can go back in time and reset for a first date... or can I?

Click here and follow the instructions, or if you do not delete rather manually the adware, launches MalwareBytes for Mac.

MalwareBytes simplifies the process of removal of adware, but does not stop it or other malware from entering the computer. It should not be invoked to prevent future incidents; Instead, avoid downloading software from sources other than the Mac App Store or Developer Web sites.

  • set the new tab to open AGAIN homeVersion 43.0.1 breaks new tab homepage

I don't know why the development team is so God awful ready on forcing me to use this terrible miniature of the previous pages as the new screen of the tab, but it SUCKS. I use FF because I don't want to be forced to use my browser as I want it to work. Correct this flaw and I would like to give the new tab homepage. 43.0.1 broke the new tab override add on which historically corrected this weakness / FF stock.

Can I assume that your real problem is that the extension new tab replace does not work in Firefox 43?
based on your similar thread in September - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1084993#answer-784907

The developer of this add-on is aware that it is broken - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/new-tab-override/reviews/769315/ - and says he'll fix it.

"The nature of the lack of the new tab should be without a doubt, opening to what the user has defined for its home page".

You are entitled to your opinion on that, but Mozilla feels differently about what the default should be for the new tab.

My opinion [that does not count be] is that it would be ridiculous to have all of the users 'Homepage' to be the default value for the page tab. How would this work when a user like me has two home pages? Two new tabs open all the time? Or complicate the issue and only open the first home page for the new tab instead?

  • I reset my homepage to yahoo and now firefox has a pop up that tells me that they are not my home page whenever I open a page

I prefer the yahoo homepage..... so I put my yahoo homepage. now, whenever I open a page, I get a pop up of firefox, telling me that they are not my home page and I need to check the action I want... can we stop this very annoying pop up or do I have to remove firefox itself. ???

What looks like the popup? I think that Yahoo may have a bar in the page content area that encourages to make your Yahoo homepage. However, if it appears outside of the page, and especially if it displays when you visit other sites, it could be caused by an add-on unwanted. Here's an example another user recently published along these lines:

Here's my method of tracking down and cleaning of the bad modules, the air pirates and injectors ad. I know it seems long, but it's not so bad.

    (1) open the Control Panel, uninstall a program. After the loading of the list, click on the column heading "installed on" to group infections, I mean additions by date. This can help the undisclosed items bundle smoker who snuck out with some software, you have agreed to install. Beware of everything that you don't recognize / remember, since malware often uses sounding names important or innocent to discourage you remove. Out as much garbage as possible here.

    (2) open Firefox page modules using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons
    • in the Windows "Run" dialog box, type or paste
      firefox.exe "about:addons"

In the left column, click on Plugins. Set essential and unrecognized plugins 'never enable '.

In the left column, click Extensions. Then, in case of doubt, disable (or delete, if possible) not recognized and unwanted extensions. Do not forget that all extensions are optional, none come with Firefox, and you can learn more about them by checking their reviews on the site of the Add - ons.

Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

    (3) you can search the rest of problems with scanning/cleaning tools listed in our technical support article: Troubleshooting Firefox problems caused by malware. These scanners on request are free and take a long time to run. If they end quickly, especially if they require the payment you have a serious infection. I suggest the specialty forums listed in the article in this case.

    Success?

Somehow I pressed something and my google search box has disappeared from my homepage (BBC News). I use win 10.

    Hello

I went into customize and after some scrutinizing screen spotted the bar and dragged to the menu bar. I had done this before but this time it was hard to spot in the options. It seems to disappear regularly because it seems 'catch' my portable hand on something on this new computer. The key plate seems mega sensitive and I will move to a mouse - safer I think.

  • Firefox don't forget homepage, theme addons and some settings every time I start my laptop. I tried a lot of difficulties, but none work?

This issue started happening just after the update to Firefox 42, I think. What happens is that whenever my laptop Windows 10 boots and I start Firefox (and sometimes after the signing and to my Windows profile), the browser acts as if she just updated, and it also checks the compatibility of the addon (see image 1). I get the "Firefox + Windows 10 = perfect set" page and my home page has been reset to "search.domaincentar.com" [see image 2], although it shows a Google logo. My theme and some various browser settings are gone too.

I have change all these settings back to how they were, but this happens every time that I reboot without fail. Here are the things I've tried:
    Refresh/reset Firefox.
    Create a new Firefox profile.
Erase a prefs.js and other possible guilty files in my current profile. (no present user.js)
    Completely reinstall Firefox.
Upgrade to the beta version of Firefox 43.
    Delete the folder %AppData% Mozilla.

.. .and different combinations of the foregoing. The simple fact is that even after a clean FULL of Firefox on my laptop, including the removal of all my info to a separate location profile, this continues to be. The homepage being reset to a weird search page looks like adware or malware, but I was not able to detect anything via scan or look in my addons. I'm really perplexed and at your mercy.

Make a check of malware with several malware scanning of programs on the Windows computer.

Please scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.
All of these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before scanning.

Alternatively, you can write a check for an infection rootkit TDSSKiller.

When I disabled Java and upgraded all the State of plug-in, made Firefox MSN my homepage and I wanted Yahoo. Now the message to my Yahoo home page keeps coming back when well even Yahoo is now in a State of the home page.

The "Internet settings" in the control panel are just for Internet Explorer, so that you can put those aside for the moment. To check and change the home page of Firefox, you can use the page Options, as described in this article: start-up, homepage, tabs and download settings.

Where do you see this message? If it's on Yahoo itself, you can ignore it or click ignore. Sites have no idea of your current home page, because web pages are not allowed to read the settings of your browser. In general they just continually make themselves known, and if tell you them to be quiet, they remember that setting a cookie.

  • How to make a certain number of tabs my homepage

Don't keep my tabs clears my home page with each update of FF. I like to have available and NOT pinned tabs but I don't like looking for tabs that I use all the time in the form of tabs

Easier to define several home pages is to open only those pages in tabs and click the button "use current Pages".

    • Tools > Options > general > startup: Homepage

Firefox supports several home pages separated by ' |' symbol (pipe).

If you do not keep the changes after a reboot or have problems with preferences, see:

What security software do you have?

If the settings get lost when you update your security software may cause problems.
