  RapidWiz does not have the install feature Oracle Apps with RAC of installation/configuration, so you'll have to do a traditional installation then follow the documents to configure the RAC database.

• TEST CASES FOR CARS.

  Today I finished installing RAC on HP UX with success and the client asked me to show a few test cases.

  So far, I've prepared two scenarios to test...

  (1) I rebooted a node (where are running cluster services) and rest services immediately to other nodes.

  (2) I killed a node PMON and users are still able to connect to DB.

  Y at - it no other test cases that I can show the client. Thank you in advance for your answers...

• Configuration of the laptop for R12 with node 2 11g RAC database

  I plan to buy a new computer dell laptop XPS to install Oracle Apps R12 with node 2 11g RAC DB by creating virtual machines.
  
  Configuration:
  

  generation of Intel processor i5-2410 2 (2.3 GHz, core 2, 3 MB cache)
  8 GB RAM DDR3
  750 GB HARD drive

  this configuration will be sufficient for the highest installation? RAM? Processor?
  
  I've read a few threads over on this forum where people have recommended for installation of single application (11i or R12), this kind of configuration can be enough.

  You need at least 4 GB for installation on a single node R12. So, if you plan to have 3 VMs (1 application node) and 2 RAC nodes or 4 virtual machines (2 application and 2 RAC nodes), then I suggest that you add more memory. However, your RAM should work, but don't expect (if you go with 3 VMs) but do not expect the performance to be perfect.

  I installed and configured applications R12 with Oracle RAC 2 nodes. (APP1, DB1 and DB2).
  
  Now, I need to add a layer of application (APP2) to configure high availability, balancing load and PCP.
  
  So, I cloned (adcfgclone.pl appsTier) application for APP2 layer (not shared, the two file systems are different). When I run the application it doesn't knot APP2 App1, more more simultaneous manager works only on a node (can be due to APPLCSF does not point to the mounting NFS share folder), although I've defined managers primary school-children also.
  
  If I run the autoconfiguration of APP1 application service will only work on APP1 and even if I do for APP2, then application works with APP2. I need to have configuration CFP, balancing the load (via DNS if possible) and the high availabllity for the Application tier.
  
  When I start the application, it will start OPMN and APPS Listener on the nodes, but simultaneous manager does not start on both, to a single node.
  
  Is this requires having both APPS name of the node is the same?

  Most likely, it's something with the profile option values, then run utility adchkcfg to get an html report that lists all files and profile options that change when you run AutoConfig on each node.

  I need to have configuration CFP, balancing the load (via DNS if possible) and the high availabllity for the Application tier.

  For load balancing, you must perform the steps according to the guidelines of this document.

  It is not necessary.

  I saw 3 versions: 2.0.0 2.0.1 and 2.0.2. of course, I chose the recent (2.0.2). It is supported by CARS?

• How do you build so test cases when a new class is added it automatically gets tested?

  I am trying to develop a system for test cases so that whenever a test case is added to a particular package it is automatically included in the trial without having to manually add this particular test case.  What is the best way to achieve this?  Should I use the java reflection?

  Please excuse me if theres an obvious solution to this.  I'm just started with Jenkins and trying to set up selenium test cases.

  Maven knows default JUnit. Just to add a dependency to JUnit to your pom.xml.

  Maven expects PROJECTROOT/main/test/java Tests and runs all tests that are subclasses of unit test (JUnit3) or anontated methods with @Test.

  Can anyone suggest me how to run test cases without ignoring by OPM. I tried everything, but my test case are ignored.

  Have you defined results for the Test Script and define expected results for each test case? Looks like you are missing one or both of these steps. Take a look at the OPM user's Guide for instructions, especially the article "set, change or remove test scripts.

  I use Jdeveloper 11.1.2.2
  
  I have a problem when writing to VO to JUnit test case.
  For the Remove method in the Test case, I spent variables in the t by using a setWhereClause().
  Like this:

  But he demonstrated a a mistake as the bind variables are not defined.

• How do I copy one project to another test cases?

  Currently we have several within projects oracle test manager following test cases in each of them. I need to be able to copy some of these test case to other projects or at least select them to run under a new project rather than retype it each time. Is there a way to do this? I see that I can copy in a project and the dough, but do not have be able to find a way to make outside of a project. Maybe there is a way to export and then import? Any ideas would be helpful?

  You can still export a summary table of the test report in XLS and import it into the new project, but it won't give you the results or test steps, but at least is a start.

  There is also something called data links take a look at the help file you may be able to use when creating test scenarios, you can create the test in CSV case first and then download on several projects using data binding.

  You must follow all the steps under "Section 1: upgrade a R12 database to Oracle Database 11g Release 1 (11.1.0).

  Please note that GR 11, 2 is certified with Oracle Apps R12, then I would tell you to go with 11 GR 2 instead of 11 GR 1 material
