R4 PSU question

My R4 delivered to me on 27/08/2013. They stop their expedition with 525 watt power supply at this time or who was later?

From our tools, this Aurora comes with the PSU 875w, mod 1N03G. 1N03G is a mod number so that the part number on the label will be different. You must remove the power supply from the chassis so that we can check with the label.

    Hello

    I have strange problems in my new apartment. The power supply does not work most of the time. In my old apartment, I've ever had and I still have problems.
    Are there known problems of interference with the power supply?

    The point is in my new apartment, I use my new fritzbox 7270 and WLAN and the power supply is only a few centimetres of the fritzbox.
    You may say, wow this guy is crazy, but the only time where the PSU was working and able to charge the battery was such that I used an ethernet cable and no WIFI...
    Right now that I can't check because I'm not in my new apartment but next weekend I'm going to do.

    If you have any information on this strange case please let me know.

    Best regards

    Benjamin

  • PSU THOUGHTS/QUESTIONS-AREA 51 R2

    On the point of ordering a batch of updates today online. An update adds a 1200 Watt power supply to the system. Did anyone see any problem with adding the block of power SUPPLY Corsair AXi series AX1200i 1200 Watt? I can't think of everything, but thought I'd ask around... Also, I did a lot of research on the amount of watts, I need and 1200 seems to be sweat spot for area 51 with several GPU. 1500 seems like overkill. Free to question me about it as well fill

    (This is area 51 R2... Not a laptop...)

    In case you wonder what I add to this computer

    -1200 watt power supply?

    -32 GB 2400 MHZ Corsair Vengeance

    -Zotac Amp other extreme 980TI

    Hello. Area 51 uses a power owner so if you disposition nervous please look away now...

    The only way to adapt to a different PSU is to perform a rewiring. I highly doubt this would be recommended by Dell/Alienware, but it was the only way I could save my chassis after my 1200w power decided to die. Here's how I did it.

    The first step, locate taking 10 special pin that connects to the system board in the lower part of the housing and unplug it. Remove the loom set of your old PSU POWER supply (takes little time, but be patient). Then, cut the 10-pin connector for the logic board in order to have this.

    This is the standard ATX connector not only uses that area 51 and it is for the logic/IO card.

    OK so now you have to cut now you need this.

    [URL = http://s90.photobucket.com/user/bungaron/media/pinouts_zpswxpjrkgf.png.html] [IMG] I90.Photobucket.com/.../pinouts_zpswxpjrkgf.PNG [LINE] [URL]

    That's the "stitching" of the connector 10 pin. You now need a 24pin schema so you can capture what you need from that. Here is a diagram ATX 24-pin.

    [URL = http://s90.photobucket.com/user/bungaron/media/24pin_zpsgjbq9fna.jpeg.html] [IMG] I90.Photobucket.com/.../24pin_zpsgjbq9fna.JPEG [LINE] [URL]

    Now, you need one of them.

    [URL = http://s90.photobucket.com/user/bungaron/media/extension_zpssxlw7zjb.jpg.html] [IMG] I90.Photobucket.com/.../extension_zpssxlw7zjb.jpg [LINE] [URL]

    It is an ATX 24pin Basic, very simple extension, however note, there the son of correct colors which is very important because it makes easier the splicing. Then you have to solder the pin 10 in 24pin extension, ensuring that the correct wires side by side (so 12v, 5vsb, 5v, ground and so on).

    You should have something that looks a bit like this.

    [URL = http://s90.photobucket.com/user/bungaron/media/solderedtoextension_zpsvy61uff1.jpg.html] [IMG] I90.Photobucket.com/.../solderedtoextension_zpsvy61uff1.jpg [LINE] [URL]

    And hop, you can adapt now all your choice ATX power supply in an area 51 ;)

  • question about if I put another PSU...

    http://www.staples.com/HP-Pavilion-p6210f-Desktop-PC/product_828019?cmArea=SC3:CG71P4567:CL164781 this Office I wonder if I can add another block of power I want to update and put a geforce 9800 gt graphics card in but I'm afraid what brand of PSU, I need or what would fit in there. I don't want to waste money on a power supply that does not or service to put into it for me is what I'll do.

    I wanted to put this in the office and I don't know how he got in this topic, if anyone can help me move

    Risami, Yes, you can upgrade the power supply in your computer.  I think that will fit a standard ATX, powere to power supply (PSU).  However, it is always a good idea to measure the existing PSU to be sure.  I highly recommend the following two PSU:

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16817139008

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16817341001

    Personally, I had the GXS OCZ 600W.  It was a great PSU.  I've just upgraded.  The Corsair comes highly recommend on the forum.  You can get the measurements of the two in the following links:

    http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/power_management/ocz_gamexstream_power_supply-sli_ready _

    http://www.Corsair.com/products/CX/default.aspx

    You can use a power supply safely.  A power supply provides only the amount of power required to operate the system.  The remaining power is for peak useage.

    First of all sorry for not searching the forum, I know that everyone should until they appear as far as this topic is covered a lot, but my time is short, now to the question.

    I heard rumors about wikipedia/sites that in some dell of the PSU is special for the motherboard, it is the case with this one or will an ATX normal work fine (I know it can not fit into the case which is not a concern for me)

    If the ATX is normal, can someone recommend me some what they saw was successfully used in the E520.

  • General question PSU for duo core I3 R3 6100 Alienware X 51

    My system currently has 180 watt PSU, from my understanding, this system can upgrade with two other external adapter power supply: 240 and the 330. If it is correct, that if I buy the 330 watts for the modernization of the ASSÉ, he will do any damage to my current system that has everything in it's default, I3 dual core processor 6100, map chart: GTX 745? Or am I way off on my way of thinking on the PSU power?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    The system will automatically use the extra watts.

  • Question of HPE-180 t upgrade video card/PSU

    I have never updated a video card or a power supply before and am a little worried about this procedure. I have a HPE-180 t and I want to spend the GT 220 GPUS to a GTX 560 Ti.

    The thing is that when I open the case, I don't know if there is enough space. I read that the 560 Ti is a large map and takes about 2 connectors on the motherboard. The GT 220 that I look pretty tight on one side, and it is not as big as the 560. Someone has it already done this before update? I don't know if the case of the size vary between models of HP Office.

    For food, I get this one:

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16817139028

    Same issue - anyone done this upgrade successfully on a HPE-180 t? If this isn't the case, I have problems with it?

    Other problems, I'd be worried?

    Thank you!

    Great, thank you for taking the time to answer.  You are welcome!  I'm happy to help you.

    I was just wondering, how did you choose this particular video card? It seems that there is a lot of variety of different manufacturers.  Over the years, I have spent many hours on the forums of enthusiasts/player/overclocking.  From this experience, I came to love graphics cards XFX, BFG, EVGA, Sapphire and PNY in that order.  They are the manufacturers who make very good products and offer good customer Service.  Also, when you pick up any product, I read as many customers as possible.  They give you the straight scoop without any exaggeration of the manufacturer.  Other customers the better.  When I see a product that has more than 200 customers and is rated 4 stars or higher, I won't hesitate to buy it.  Some comments may be pros, but the majority are people like you and me.  I hope that explains my choice.

    Also, I noticed that the product dimensions are 9 "x 4,38", which I suppose is just length x width. The "depth" (or width when looking from the rear which is held vertically) is not listed, so that usually not a problem (i.e. it will not conflict with what anyone on either side)?  If the card fits in length and the width and height of the map is not as critical.  Most cases will be enough space.  The length is more critical, however.  I would stay 9 "or less.  Normally, this ensures that the card will fit in the case of medium-sized and allowing good air flow.  A card will be a full case.

    If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.  I'm always happy to help someone to learn about the components of the computer.

  • Patchwork GI and DB Home (PSU 7 11.2.0.3): two questions

    In our 2 node RAC, I have installed and configured the 11.2.0.3 grid infrastructure and installed the software RDBMS version 11.2.0.3

    Currently, ASM Instance is within the grid Infrastructure.

    Before you create a database using DBCA, we decided to patch the GI and the DB at home with the last power supply, which is 11.2.0.3.7

    According to the Readme, the file p16742216_112030_Linux - x 86 - 64.zip contains the GI and RDBMS PSU

    " Patch 16742216 " : GAME of GRID INFRASTRUCTURE FIXES UPDATE 11.2.0.3.7 (including the PSU 11.2.0.3.7 DB) '

    In the Readme as well as the zip file, it's the only instruction for the application of patch for my case.

    Case 1: IM home and homes of the database that are not shared and ACFS file system is not configured.

    As root user, run the following command on each node in the cluster:

    # opatch auto < UNZIPPED_PATCH_LOCATION > - < com-response file > ocmrf

    Question1.

    Is the stage preceding sufficient? Do I have to stop the cluster using crsctl stop the cluster - all - f or whatever it is?

    Question2.

    In 11.2.0.2.x, I remember running from things like the following perl script that will unlock the gate house and many other things like opatch napply

    They are no longer needed?

    /App/grid/11.2.0.3/CRS/install/rootcrs.pl-debloquer

  • Question about PSU patch when IM and DB are different version

    Hello world

    I have some doubts when it comes to the application of patches to the PSU, when the House of GI and DB House are different versions.

    I have 2 node RAC on RHEL 5 cluster.
    My home grid Infrastructure is running version 11.2.0.3 while my 11.2.0.2 RDBMS RAC is.

    I know that the PSU of grid Infrastructure also includes the power supply of the database and that it should be applied in two homes the same version.
    When patching my RDBMS RAC at home (11.2.0.2); should I install the PSU IM for 11.2.0.2 or only the part of the RAC database?

    For example:
    installation 11.2.0.2.6 PSU which consists of 13696242 (game of Grid infrastructure update fixes) and 13696224 (database updated Patch to update).
    Should I ignore the 13696242 and just install 13696224? Or do I have to install both.

    Thank you.

    Hello

    ignore the part of IM and use the - oh flag on DB home only.
    (Section in the readme file, which talks about the application of software patches DB only).

  • HP Envy 700-470na: 600W PSU and GTX 970 for HP ENVY 700-470NA

    Hello

    I am looking to buy the GTX to my HP Envy 700-470NA 970. I also need a 600w PSU to use my current power supply (500w) would be risky.

    My question is, I'll be able to replace the power supply on my desktop with the 600w Corsair? Well, just reliable and good quality PSU with 600W which can be compatible with my PC would be great.

    Please provide a link to the PSU if possible. Thank you!

    You are welcome.  Thank you for the additional information.

    Yes, the cables should function properly.  Cards mothers HP have the ATX 24 power connector standard pins.  You could buy a modular power supply.  In this way, that you don't have to use all the cables that are not necessary.  This makes more space for good air circulation.

  • I need help to upgrade my power supply 300W for a 650W PSU...

    Hello everyone, this is my first time on this forum and I have a material question that I hope someone here could answer for me? I recently bought a HPE-240f desktop PC and I want to improve my current Radeon HD5570 1 g GPU MSI 460GTX Cyclone 768D 5/OC, but unfortunately I have a Liteon PS-5301 - 08ha PSU and it is only 300W. So I think to him substituting a CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V and my question is; This power will be back in my case correctly or I have to go with an another 650W PSU? Can anyone here advice me what to do?

    Yes, I thought that I have really don't have a 650W power supply if I want a single power graphics card Nvidia 460GTX. And more I'm low on cash at the moment so the ROSWELL PSU fits in my budget. Thanks for your help, and I'll post again if I met more problems.

    Hi @enimen2,

    I hope you enjoy your visit to the HP's Support Forums. I understand that you are have questions about upgrading the power supply and the video card. I'll be happy to help you.

    I watched the specifications of the motherboard and video card.  The motherboard supports only PCI E 1 and the video card is PCI-E 3.0.  The video card fits into the slot but won't work on a speed PCI E 1.

    I know that this ios not what you want to hear, then you upgrade the video card and the power supply but will not improve performance.

    Please keep me informed of the progress of things.

  • Questions about the replacement of a power supply for a P7-1235

    I decided to do an update on my Pavilion P7-1235. I put in a graphics card and put in power level. After doing some research on this forum and others I know well enough that I need. The only question I have is about the food. I don't know what the original power supply. There is a vent on the side where it however. So I guess that there is a fan on this side of the power supply. This eating plan I get:

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16817139050 & TPK = % 20500% 20% 20modular %2 watt Corsair...

    I noticed that the fan is on top? Now there is no high ventilation in my P7-1235, I worry for nothing? I think that all the supplys to look the same. What is the top of the fan page for? Or can anyone suggest a replacement perfect for my exact Pavilion model?

    Sorry if the questions are stupid, but I'm still learning and want to do what I can myself!

    Hello

    Yes, you can use the power supply the same way. The image is in a vertical position for the convience of the buyer. I have the same with number of power supplies and it was fine. You can check the following links people have set up exact POWER supply in different ways.

    http://pcpartpicker.com/builds/by_part/Corsair-power-supply-cx500m

    However, please be aware of your power supply size and your case. If you have all materials/components in stock for your computer, then it is what it is;

    ATX case:

    : Height 39.4 (15.55 inches)

    Width: 17.5 cm (6.89 in)

    Depth: 40.9 cm (16,14 inches)

    PSU stock:

    (5.9 x 5.5 x 3.4 inches)

    And the power supply you want;

    Corsair size;

    "5.9"x 3.4"x 6.3"

    As you can see the length of the Corsair is considerably larger than your stock of power supply. This could hampor of air or could even make it so the holes of the PSU and the case does not match. However, this is usually not what worry. The height and width that should be worried because the length rarely causes problems, I wanted to just make sure that you knew in advance.

    Take advantage of your power supply; Corsair is a great brand.

  • HP Envy 700-216 graphics Office Questions setting memory

    My computer, running Windows 8.1, has an A-10, with graphics card GPU in the HD 8670 D processor.  I know that it uses system memory.  I have found that it was using 768 MB on the 12 GB PC12800 RAM (1600).  I don't know where, or whether it is possible to adjust so that it uses more memory to my system.

    Would be really useful to use a bit more, because I doubt I'll be close to everything medium anyway?  Can I pay, is it possible?  I tried looking in almost all settings, but don't see anything to get to this setting.   I noticed some things seem to take the activation in the BIOS, but not knowing what they did exactly, I wouldn't change a thing.  Also, I looked through catalyst and saw nothing there either, to adjust.

    One of the reasons for which I had a processor A-10 (a series) is that I read later, you can add a graphics card, and that she would work with the GPU graphics to make for a better combined graphical experience.  But I noticed in the specifications of the motherboard (MS - 7778 Jasmine) the comment "If PCI-E card is installed you will have not yet boarded Graphics '   or something of the sort.  I was wondering what this means you cannot plug into these jacks on the motherboard, or the graphical part of the A-10 processor will just dormant?

    Any help on these questions would be useful, as well as suggestions of the best PCI-E graphics to get.  I have a power supply 550 Watt here somewhere - just need to find and check to see if it has all the appropriate Sockets.  Thank you!

    James

    J_Mike, welcome to the forum.

    Video Ingrated will use as much memory system as needed up to 1 GB, I think.  You don't have to adjust.

    Yes, the embedded video is disabled if you install a discrete video card.  However, it is not negative.  A discrete video card will improve performance as well.

    The 550W PSU will be good for one of the new intermediate level video cards.  Most of them requires a minimum of 400 w to work properly.
