  I guess that this is caused by the graphics chip, it is possible that caused graphics card driver problems related to bad entries in the registry or in the worst case the graphics chip could badly run.

  1. do you have dual boot at startup options when you try to start?

  2. are you still able to boot to the old version of Windows Vista that is installed on the C drive?

  3. What do you mean exactly when you say that you want to uninstall?

  If you have installed Windows on another drive, you will have a dual-boot option. You can uninstall Vista by reformatting the drive. You can refer the link that will give you information about this below:

  If you are using a CD to upgrade of Windows 8, then there not all reinstall the files included for a full Windows.

  Your best option is to use the recovery partition on your hard disk or the recovery CD from your PC back to Windows 7. Then Windows 7 SP1 upgrade and get all updates. Then, move to Windows 8 again.

  2 days ago, I installed the new Ethernet, WWAN, camera, wireless, Audio, graphics drivers from the HP site and also the latest version of the BIOS and the Synaptics touchpad mouse and stick mouse stopped working, if I remove the Synaptics touchpad driver works (very slow), if I reinstall the Synaptics driver again it will stop working , I tried different versions of the HP Synaptics driver support site and nothing, as soon as it is installed the touchpad will stop working. I deleted the driver WWAN and camera, but nothing happening always the same. If I reboot in BIOS mode than the touchpad works very well, so it is not a problem of harware.
