R7000 Wifi - OSMC on RPi 1 model B disorders

Hello. (Sorry, my English is bad) I have problems with the wifi. I have OSMC running on hardware of RaspberryPi 1 model B with dongle usb wifi (from the official store). OSMC can see the SSID when 'Enable Smart Connect' is checked. If different SSID for bands is set (MyWifi24GHz and MyWifi5GHz) - they are not discovered by competition. OK, come back 'Enable Smart Connect' - Yes! SSID is on the screen. To connect, enter the password and... Connection failed! Password contains no spaces. I activated the network without security reviews. Failed!
OSMC wpa_supplicant [293]: wlan0: trying to associate SSID 'NETGEAR-comments '.
OSMC wpa_supplicant [293]: wlan0: CTRL-EVENT-ASSOC-REJECT status_code = 16
OSMC wpa_supplicant [293]: wlan0: id CTRL-EVENT-SSID-TEMP-DISABLED = 3 ssid = "NETGEAR-Guest" auth_failures = 1 length = 10 reason = CONN_FAILED
A lot of dances with drums autour R7000 and RPi - several reboots, deleted connman config of the osmc and connection established! But not for long 5-30 minutes and the connection is lost.
Here are no problems with the wifi of the neighbors or old mine DIR-615.
Also two books (Win10) and 3 (2 1 Android, Win10) smartfones have problems. If the neighbor networks are "not forgotten", after some time of devices will connect to them. If I leave alone R7000 wifi wireless network from time to time is lost for 2 to 30 seconds (Im and disconnected from the online game )
Current version of the Firmware V1.0.6.28_1.1.83
Any suggestions? Thank you

Just a.

Install the FW 1.0.4.30

I'm on a R7000 connected to a 6141 Motorola with Comcast. Provisioned at 100 Mbps + with Comcast.

  • HP laptop - 15-r249tu: more than 1 Wifi drivers for a single model. Why?

    Hello

I tried to download the drivers for my laptop ' HP for laptop - 15-r249tu "for Windows 8.1 x 64 to this link. But there is a problem.  Which driver to download and install? I mean, under driver-network, there are drivers for WLAN provided by Broadcom and Qualcomm both. It is the same with Bluetooth. Which one should I download and install. Don't you know that this model has this device? In addition, versions of the drivers are listed separately. Shouldn't there be an option as

    Manufacturer and model #.

    |--->  Version 1 (download)

    |---> Version 2 (download)

    |--->  Version 3 (download)

Please don't suggest me to use the utility to auto detect. I just HATE IT! Please provide an option to choose which drivers to download manually and then export their links to download a file *.txt or both

Any help and action will be significant.

    Hello:

It is a peer to peer forum.

I am not employed by, nor should I represent HP.

I guess HP reorganizes the pilots in the entire series (different model numbers within this series with some different material), because to do otherwise would be too heavy and expensive to maintain the support pages.

In any case, here are the drivers wireless and bluetooth, that you need for your laptop model specific in accordance with the list of parts.

This laptop has a wireless white list that blocks the start if the correct card is not installed. You must purchase a wireless HP part number card.

The laptop is 10 years old. It is the only card in the manual for the United States. Don't know where you are and which may affect the part number you need, but it's the American part:

802.11a/b/g module LJ WLAN for use in the United States and the Canada. 407254 001

    Here it is on eBay:

    http://www.eBay.com/ITM/Broadcom-Mini-PCI-Express-card-BCM94311MCAG-407254-001-/221004274059?hash=item3374e1998b:m:mLUBTJNR7QLs7JVwODHLsiw

He must have the SPS number HP part number. I suspect that your card is bad and others that you tried to buy are incompatible, then you will need to get one like the above, if you are USA or the Canada.

  • Satellite L100 no primer not if the WiFi is enabled

    Hello

From the beginning, yesterday for the first time my husband connected its Satellite Pro L100 PSLA4E to a LCD TV using an s-video cable. Everything seems to work properly but thebackground on thedesktop had disappeared, there was just a white background combined with all the usual desktop icon. It has restarted the lappy thought it would be sort, but have not arrested the TV first. The lappy didn't start back up - just had a black screen Uni, no warning or anything like that.

A couple of friends mind technology came at this time and suggested the lappy had "lost" his display drivers, and after a lot of research has decided the only option was to reinstall everything from scratch.

I don't have the original Toshiba restore discs or recovery discs so downloaded all the drivers from this site. Now the laptop won't boot if the wifi is enabled. This model has a network card Atheros - at least the lable on low said contains Atheros AR5BMB5.

If I turn the wifi on off switch the lappy starts every time, however, if the switch is on it will not start even in safe mode. If I turn on wifi after windows THAT XP has started up the lappy freezes and keyboard etc are out of order and I have to force a shutdown by pressing the power button.

So far I have spent hours this trawling and other websites to try to find clues that could help.

Does anyone have any suggestions as Christmas is likely to be hell if her husband has not his lappy to play with!

Thank you very much in anticipation.

    Hello tree

After almost 10 years with Toshiba computers laptops, I would say that I have never heard of something like this. To me, this seems incredible.
The best solution for you is to install the OS by using original Toshiba recovery image. If you do not have one you can order it.

What you can try is to enter the BIOS at startup settings. Set it to default settings and check if the problem persists.

  • Disconnected radio on map Wifi mini-PCI in Satellite Pro A40.

I installed a card Atheros Wifi Mini-PCI (marked Toshiba, model AR5004G) in my Satellite Pro A40. Pilots of the section of downloads on the A40 Toshiba support site installed fine, and everything seemed to work. But the card could not find my wifi network at home (I rigged the antennas to test, before taking the trouble to install in laptop).

Atheros client reported that the radio has been turned off and gave the solution like him allowing the use of the customer. But the enable and disable options are grayed out outside in the client. I took a peek in the bios of the A40 (latest version 1.50) and there is no option to turn on the radio. The FN + F8 key on the keyboard (which has a small icon of wifi on him) has also not made any difference.

To check that it wasn't the card, I have two-way autour cards from my other laptop. The new PCI card has worked well in the Acer while the former, one of the Acer is also off in Satellite Pro.

Does anyone have an idea on how to get the Sat Pro to switch on the map?

    Hello

I checked the specifications Satellite Pro A40 and it seems that the WLan functionality is not available on this laptop.
Is - this laptop has a WLan switch on/off switch on the side of the laptop?

If this isn't the case, you cannot activate the antenna and so you cannot receive any signal!
It seems that you must use an external USB WiFi key.

  • Location (GPS) service no longer works after update of Os 9.3.2

My GPS service does not work after update os on IPHONE 6 64 GB. Deleted, hard reboot as well os re - load os, I did, but still unresolved question and google Mao or Apple card does not. It seems that many Iphone user have the same problem after the Os update to 9.3.2.

My wife also have the same model and updated to Os, but its Google map works perfectly. have online search of dome on the solution, but no luck.

    How to solve this problem?

    Hello, jayantg,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I see that your GPS service stopped working after the update to iOS 9.3.2. I use location Services on my iPhone, so I know how much it is important that we get this problem is solved. I have something I want you to try.

Job to the subject of privacy and location Servicesand ensure that the location service is enabled and learn how the precision of GPS to improve, in particular, these two sections:

    Enable or disable location Services

You can enable or disable location Services in settings > privacy > location Services. You can enable location-based Services during the wizard process of installation or later through the creation of location-based Services. You can individually control applications and system services have access to the data of location Services. When location Services are disabled, the apps can't use your position in the foreground or background. You will thus limit the performance of various Apple and third-party applications.

Settings > privacy > location Services.

Settings > privacy > location Services > System Services.

    Improve the accuracy of GPS

GPS accuracy varies according to the number of visible GPS satellites. Location of all visible satellites can take several minutes, with accuracy gradually increasing over time. Follow these tips to improve the accuracy of the GPS:

    • Make sure that you set the date, time and timezone correctly on the device in settings > general > Date & time. If possible, use the value automatically.
Important: Incorrect settings on your computer can sync to your device. Check the date, time and time zone on a computer that syncs with your device.
    • Restart your device.
    • Make sure you have a cell phone or Wi - Fi network connection. This allows assisted GPS (A - GPS) on the device to locate the fastest visible GPS satellites, in addition to providing information about the initial location using Wi - Fi or cellular networks.
Microcells (sometimes called Femtocells) are not supported with location Services.
    • Keep a clear view of the horizon in several directions. Please keep in mind that walls, vehicle roofs, tall buildings, mountains and other obstacles can block the line of sight to GPS satellites. When this occurs, your device will automatically use a Wi - Fi or cellular networks to determine your position until the GPS satellites are still visible.

    All the best.

  • Tecra M4: How to replace the WLAN card

    Hello
I have a Tecra M4 laptop and want to upgrade my wireless card, is this possible without opening the whole case?
Most of the NB I know have these cards below the keyboard, or behind a clean cover accessible from the rear. Tried both, found nothing.

    Thanks in advance

    Florian

    Hello Florian

I fear that you will not be able to Exchange only WLAN card. The WIFI card on this laptop model is placed on site so stupid and laptop must be disassembled. Please be careful if you want to do this alone.

To be honest you shouldn't do this without maintenance manuals. One small mistake and you can damage the sensitive plastic components inside your laptop.

Furthermore, this model Tecra a pretty good and quick WLAN card. G standard, if I remember well. I have the same card on my Tecra and data transfer is OK.

What WLAN card you want to use now?

  • Satellite A300D - Turn off all the time

My wife has a Satellite A300D (model PSAK4E) and it keeps closing. The two randomy and when induced under certain conditions

Previously, I tested the HARD drive and found bad sectors then replaced with a 64 GB SSD. I tried to install Windows 7 but it kept fault towards the end. So I reset the machine without a battery and now the power button for 2 minutes to clear the memory. Installed Windows 7 + updates.

I was worried about stopping all the time but flashed the BIOS. Flash worked.

Laptop resets always? I have reviewed several possible causes and wanted to get other peoples ideas
1 HARD drive - replaced and even resets
    2. battery - ran on power sector only and even resets
3 overheating - sometimes under certain conditions (memmory tests or you try to run certain applications) or randomly (without reason)
    4. a broken circuit somewhere on the motherboard
5 - completely new OS + software resets the laptop when using some applications from a live disk.

Thank you inadance for the help

    Hi me_in_oz,

Theoretically the laptop turn off itself due to a higher internal temperature to protect the equipment against damage.
In this case, you will need to clean the laptop using jet of compressed air to blow the dust from the cooling fans. It is easy and takes only a few minutes to check out this article:
[How to clean a Toshiba laptop cooling system? | http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/ann.jspa?annID=40]

Otherwise it seems to be a serious hardware problem and your laptop should be checked for professional people. Probably it s a malfunction of the motherboard
