Radio sound is mono

Hello!
I use the LG D300 and when I use the FM Radio, the sound is mono... LG asking for help, but they said that it is related to the operating system...
I tried several different headphones, all with the same results...
Is stereo FM Radio feature unsurpported now?

Thank you very much!

Hello

Thanks cyborg4 for help with this issue, some FM stations are broadcast in mono. I went ahead and filed a bug on this subject after having looked into it some more. It seems that this is determined the way in which the sound is routed. While the sound is good, does not have stereo FM radio.

Clebercleber, please use Firefox OS and this feedback!

Kind regards
Michelle Luna

Unplug your headphones, and plug them push HARD and back in! The "rocket" has a very tight helmet, and it could play a role. My guess is that the FM is fine because the headphones are on the air.

  • Is it possible to set the stereo output to mono in Windows 7

Stereo to mono in Windows 7

I looked everywhere in the settings of the sound and the accessibility settings in Windows 7. I can't find THE settings for the computer stereo sound to MONO.  I have the card REALTEK sound integrated on my Gigabyte motherboard.  I checked the settings as well.  The ONLY thing I've been able to do is to change the balance, and it does not solve my problem.  You see, I'm deaf in my left ear, so stereo records that I listen to with headphones on, I miss a lot of the sounds within the music or movie or whatever I'm listening.  On my Mac, all I have to do is click on a button in the settings, and the computer will play the stereo sound from TWO speakers, which is what I want on my PC.  I can't believe that this feature is not available in Windows 7.  Any ideas?

Right-click on the volume icon in the taskbar > playback devices > select device > configure > choose Mono > then click > click on finish

is theres another longer way to do this too just make a single lane on the spot but still running two-speaker MONO BAM

  • Is there a way to set the audio output in mono in Windows 7?

I have a set of speakers, but one of the speakers is broken, so for now if I have a stereo song I get only half of the music. Is it possible to set the sound output in mono on Windows 7 so I can listen to the stereo songs via a speaker? I'd rather do than buy a new set of speakers.

    Hi Jamsoup,

I would like to inform you that, down from sound to mono-stereo sampling is not possible, since stereo sound is a sound standard setting.

Stereo speakers are designed to produce a sound to both speakers and there is no option to change the settings to use as mono.

I also suggest that you contact the speaker manufacturer or the manufacturer of the computer for assistance on this issue.

Thank you, and in what concerns:

  • How to merge the clips with a single track mono without the extra empty tracks?

When I merge clips that I have synced using plural eyes, the merged clip has 3 empty audio tracks I have to delete every time I import the clip in the sequence. I tried deleting all empty the track sequence to merge, but I have still 3 empty tracks. I want to just import a single audio track video and single.

The sound is mono there should only be one track.Merged Example.png

I thought about it. If you right-click on the merged item and go edit > Audio channels and together the three other channels to 'None' it will only import the audio track. You can select all the clips merged and apply it to each of them.

I tried the sound of setting here is what I tried:

I uninstalled IDT audio driver I went into Control Panel and uninstalled the IDT Audio driver.

Then I restarted my computer and I reinstalled the drivers of HP's Windows 8.1.

After restarting my computer again, I checked to see if everything was back to normal, but it is not yet sounded even.

When I right click on the "speaker" icon and then choose playback devices here is what was posted:
    The top unit is called:
Its digital display (AMD high definition Audio Device) not connected
    OK, this is Normal.

    The central device is called:
Speaker / device by default HP (IDT High Definition Audio Codec)
OK, this device is also Normal.

    The background feature is called:
Communication by default communication device Headphones (IDT High Definition Audio Codec)
OK in Windows 8.1 this device has been disabled by default but in Windows 10 it is activated and listed as default communications device.

So I thought that if I just disabled it my Turtle Beach P11 helmet would return to normal, but it didn't she sounded still, I even restarted my computer.

OK, so I tried to set the Communications headset as device by default but when I right click and click on set as default device it wouldn't let me.

I then disabled speaker / HP and tried to set it as default device it wouldn't let me.

When I disabled speaker / HP Groove Music said he could not detect an Audio device in order to activate the speaker / HP and people with disabilities

    A temporary Solution:

After you have solved the problem by reading through countless messages try every difficulty that none of them I went into Control Panel and he took a glance at the the Dolby Advanced Audio Control Panel now I never tested with this before so far but I was able to fix the Audio questions here is exactly what I did :

When you use your built-in Laptop speakers or possibly other speakers:
Right-click on start (the white Windows icon located to the left of the bottom of your screen)
    Click on Control Panel
    Click on hardware and sound
    Click Dolby Advanced Audio
    Click on listening experience
    Check Dolby Advanced Audio

    I've tested on the following:
    Play music (sounded great)
Played a Youtube video (sounded great)
Played a video that I saved on my PC (sounded great)
Played a show or a movie on Netflix (sounded great)

When you use your headset from Turtle Beach Z11 or possibly other headphones:
Right-click on start (the white Windows icon located to the left of the bottom of your screen)
    Click on Control Panel
    Click on hardware and sound
    Click Dolby Advanced Audio
    Click on listening experience
Uncheck Dolby Advanced Audio now, your headset should ring loud instead of sound like Mono and stereo and crappy.

    I've tested on the following:
    Play music (sounded great)
Played a Youtube video (sounded great)
Played a video that I saved on my PC (sounded great)
Played a show or a movie on Netflix (sounded great)

You need to keep the box checked when you use your built-in Laptop speakers, otherwise they will sound like Mono and crappy.

So basically when you plug in your headphones uncheck the box.

So basically when you disconnect your headset check box.

If you have messed with the implementation in and want to return to the default value:
    Click Advanced settings
    Click on Reset

Thanks to my temporary fix Audio problems are gone, but I hope that HP releases new drivers, so I can't use my temporary Solution.

Also I hope HP or Microsoft releases new drivers for the Synaptics TouchPad so that people can save their settings.

This has been corrected by James Yerkes on Microsoft Community:

    Open regedit.exe

    Navigate to:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Synaptics\SynTP\Install

Note it's the LOCAL MACHINE, not the CURRENT USER.

Search for a key in the installation folder called DeleteUserSettingsOnUpgrade

Double click and change the value to 0

Now go back in the Panel of Synaptics, put all how you like and restart.

in any case if someone has problems with Windows 10 Post here and I'll see if I can help you but I recommend resetting your PC in recovery Menu so that most of the problems will be solved then I would install all my drivers from the manufacturer.

I am currently using window 8.1 1 driver from AMD and HP drivers.

  • M40 - 129 - trouble

    Hi guys,.

2 weeks ago, I bought my satellite M40 129 with
    Harman/kardon. I had 2 problems.

    1) SOUND through the HEADSET
Songs (CD or mp3s) I'm listening on my 3 year old office
through good quality well real, true stereo headphones.

    On my laptop...
-If I listen to it with the built-in speakers, very well.
-If I listen to it with headphones, poor quality sound like mono.
I also tried with Virtual Sound to make it better,
but I don't get the real stereo as my office.
The sound card on my desktop computer is more than 5 years,
but it sounds a lot better than the M40 129 through the headset.

    No idea how to improve?
(I have the driver 5.12.1.5240 version)

    2) NOISE WEIRD PEEP
I don't know how to describe it, but I get noise weird peep
my laptop. Sometimes it disappears, but it doesn't come
    Precedent.

No idea how to get rid of this noise to peep?

I haven't worked a lot with the laptop again.
I hope not to have surprises.

    -Aykut (of Germany)

    Hello

    (1) if the sound is good enough try to do better using a graphic equalizer on the reader you use and also check the sound properties and audio especially in the advanced audio properties. I noticed that fake adjustment result with very poor sound quality
    (2) I found an info that some strange noises occur if the sound card power is set on the power supply Mode. Please try to change to no. energy savings.

Hope that will help you. Your device is a new and I believe that any update of the BIOS is necessary.

  • You want a helmet pair BTA - 6030 Dongle & Logitech HS200 - what service?

    Hello

I'm using a Dongle of BTA - 6030 as station Bluetooth and I have a headset Logitech HS200, I want to make a pairing.
It is a headset stereo bluetooth with microphone on this subject. Very nice actually.

Now, using the Toshiba Bluetooth stack, I can match my helmet, 3 ways when you use the custom properties.
    These classes of service are:
    1 Audiosink
    2 hands-free kit
    3 helmet

The first gives a nice, good quality stereo sound, but not micro. The other 2 give the use of microphone, but the sound is mono, only one ear of the left earpiece.

I think I need an another "class of Service", but how do you choose one?

Who knows how I can configure the service to use manually? Because obviously the software does not provide the good by itself.

You're right that audiosink is for music (stereo, high audio quality, sets, audio-only streaming not the rear channel is required for micro for example). Handsfree (mono, low quality audio, two-way) for VoIP applications and headphones (mono, low quality audio, two-way) for manual use. However, you should also hear mono audio transmissions on both speakers of your device. If this isn't the case, then you have any other problem.

  • Problem of his Palm t5 (research)

    Hello!

Two days ago my t5 palm stopped play sounds via the internal speaker (his helmet seems to be ok). Posts on this forum say that it is a hardware problem (micro-switch is stuck in a headphone jack). At least in my case, I need a more complex explanation:

-The internal speaker stopped working without any interference in the headphones (I do not plug headphones into the Palm). Most people have this problem after disconnecting the headset.

-J' was able to set my speakers to life by simply plugging in the AC adapter / CC. President Ping with a usual sound and worked for a few hours, that dies again.

-At least twice, I could hear sounds after a hard reset. But only until I tried to launch any application. Then he was silent again.

-As for now, I hear 'clicks' of the speaker when I connect my T5 to hotsync cable and press the hotsync button. Still more - if I have press the hotsync button while the cable is not plugged into the USB port - and wait 30 to 40 seconds, I see a box with the message "hotsync failure" alarm and can hear the sound of the mono speaker alarm Palm. So it is again being mute.

With a background in electronics, I opened the unit and checked the sound elements visible:

-L' speaker is OK, the measured resistance is recommended on the speaker (7.8 vs 8.0 ohm)

    -Points of motherboard are OK

-There is a voltage V 1.68 on the two points vs. the ground, but no difference in voltage between the pads.

-5-pin headset plug seems to be OK. Microswitch pads (two pads on a basis of a Jack) have no resistance measured when the socket is empty and are disconnected when headphones are plugged in.

-J' have tried to short-circuit buffers with external cable - but no effect dip switch - sound is always redirected to the helmet.

-J' tried to connect the internal speaker to the headphone channel. It works, but the rate of release of palm is unacceptable (headphones are devices to 30 ohms, and I believe that internal speaker is connected through some elements of energy saving).

I'm completely perplexed with my problem of his palm. This may not be a pure hardware problem as he plays sometimes a few sounds via mono speaker. But if this is a problem in a software - how in hell, he survives device resets?

    Any ideas?

    Hello!

Indeed, the problem was multiple connector. It seems that cable flat keyboard connection and connector multiple base with a main card had isolation deteriorated between some of his sons and a surface of steel on the base. Now, I remember that some time ago my Palm was irregularly to hot-sync mode even when the hot sync cable was not plugged.

After that I put a piece of insulation between the metal base and a flat cable (which covers the hard edge of the base metal) mono speaker returned to life. Please put this in a FAQ or KB if possible.

It would be nice for palm-engineers (if palm still has some) to build a utility program that allows the user to select the device audio default substitution of the system. See cool head for treo on sourceforge (does not work on palm t-series).

    Thank you!

  • Audio limitation in CS6 multi-cam?

I try to use stereo audio of my source files when I create a multi-cam clip (I confirmed that the source files are indeed stereo because there is a different content on the left and right sides and when I put it that in a new sequence on its own the source will use 2 audio tracks).

However, if I create a multicam video in the media browser and bring in a new sequence, the sound becomes mono and refers only to the left of the source files and pans that Center, which makes the unusable right.

    Is this a bug?

If the right channel is on the A1, and the left channel is on A2, you must open the camera sequence multiple source in a timeline and select A2.

Here is the part of the aid, I wanted you to notice:

By default, Premiere Pro CS6 allows only to audio channel in the source multi-cam sequence. For editing multi-camera workflow, select manually before you change the sequence target of the other audio tracks. To activate the audio tracks to the sequence camera multiple source, follow these steps:

    1. Open the camera sequence multiple source by clicking on the icon to sequence multiple camera source in the project Panel, right-click (Win) or control-click (Mac OS), the icon, and then choose open in the timeline.
    2. Opens in the timeline. Select the audio tracks and then activate the other audio tracks by clicking on the button toggle track output for each audio track that you want to monitor.

Now that your audio tracks selected are enabled, you can close the sequence.
