  To help you, can you confirm that this is the sequence of events:

  * you transfer the video files to your PC
  * then you try to open them in WMP

  You may well have a codec problem, that can be solved in 2 ways:

  * Download and use Gspot (Google for it). Drag the file in question on the small window which is Gspot and it will tell you what are the different audio and video codecs. Serach the web and download the forms.

  * Download and install a Cedec such as K-Lite package.

• Backup has encountered a problem (0 x 80070002)

  The file I deleted was a folder that I created and copied to another drive. It contained is mod files that use jvc camcorders. The software everio media has not created this folder. I did it by copying it in this pc on the other.

  I'm being defensive because I believe that you do not see the way I see things.

  Follow this scenario.   I'm trying to back up files on drive c on the e drive. He has failed. My e drive is a 3.5 sata drive.  In order to exclude the drive, I tried my 1.5 TB seagate external drive and ran windows up, which is the destination drive. Same result. Windows could not find and copy a folder that "was" on the c drive.  The fact that my e drive may be defective in any way shape looks like windows upward to try to copy a folder that does not exist.  And also hang up in the same place each time the backup is executed when the size and the files on my c drive are constantly evolving.

  When I initially reset to its default state victory, I thought that it would not try to copy a nonexistent folder. I ran the search on the pc and it does not find the file at all.

  There is a reg entry that referenced the folder and I deleted this key.

  I also thought windows indexing could have it indexed so I reset that.

  There may very well be a problem the e drive (3.5 sata) but after trying it on another drive we know now is not the reason for the error message in victory to the top.

  The result is something tells windows backup to copy this folder and is not here.

  Earn back up to obtain or use any information from system restore points?

  I think that now, it's that the system took a snapshot point / restoration at some point given, when the folder is on the desktop and it could possibly be the reason, but I don't know that much about what exactly and how restore windows and snapshots work and that says windows save what to copy...

• Lag/rendering with Premiere Elements problems

  During my studies, I was with Premiere Pro, with whom I could work (though I've always been under the impression that I'm playing with a little more than the tip of the iceberg). After leaving University, I looked out for another video editing program, and since most of the comments stated that Premiere Elements has been a good choice for non-professional video editing and certainly adequate for everyday use. So, I got a copy of PElements, which was pretty cheap compared to its big brother.

  However, after trying to edit two videos in one (the same scene taken with different cameras), I must admit that I am a little disappointed.

  The biggest point of contention is the terrible lag. Agency was already overwhelmed by the people, but they did not nearly unworkable program. Then I started to make the two video tracks, that would take about 4 hours for a simple 11:30 (2 x) minutes of video material.

  I used the following for this system:

  Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2180

  2 GHz

  4 GB of Ram

  Windows 7

  32 bit

  Video files, that I worked with were already changed to Avi using the following conversion programs converted camera cassette versions (I had to convert because for some unknown reason, my old Premiere Pro has refused to work with AVCHD or vlc.tod - files, so I did not worth to try it here).

  MS-Mpeg4-V2 codec

  Any Video Converter (MPlayer)

  So, my question would be: is this normal? I guess, if anything, items would be faster than Pro because it is less complicated, but appearently I was mistaken. What is the reason - is the obsolete system, do I have to use special presets for a video clip or is the format of data file I used to blame for either or both of my problems?

  (other questions are cut-editing tools and color are much coarser than those of the body, but I guess this is intentional)

  Your gun shoots in a variety of formats. If you want to edit in Premiere Elements, you should shoot only in MXP or FXP mode. (Leave the Everio out of the mix for this part of the experiment, since these cams have their own unique challenges.)

  You should then beyond a Premiere Elements project using the project settings for stereo 1920 x 1080 AVCHD full.

  Use the elements first get the media / Flip and AVCHD camcorder to import video from your camcorder to your computer and place the video on the timeline. You should not see red lines above clips. You should also see pretty good performance when you work with it.

  Also, your computer may be low power to work with this type of video. Hi-def video can take a long time to render, particularly on a dual-core computer. But converted to a different format using another program will not improve things a lot unless you know for sure your perfect product converter Type 2 DV - AVI.

  In fact, you can produce a Type 2 DV - AVI from this video AVCHD with Premiere Elements. Just place your AVCHD videos on this once and then go to the action/computer/AVI and select it as the DV PRESET. The video it produces should work very well in a project set up for widescreen DV. It will be the standard definition rather than hi-def - but, if you plan out your last video in standard definition (for example, online or on DVD) you might as well work with it in this format.

  But as I have described above as your experience. Try not all high-end and do not mix the Everio format in your project again and see if it improves things.

  Once find you a clean and efficient workflow that works with the best video formats, you should see a significant improvement in performance.

  But for now, stay away from third-party video converters. They seem to be working against you.

• MacBook Pro display problem

  As of recently, I have noticed some glitches when feeding on my MacBook or awakened from his sleep.

I actually ran a report on the system at 2 different times and my quality of full load is depleting of 1.2% per charge cycle, which is very worrying. I went from 6281 mAh mAh 6138 maximum capacity after two cycles of load. I'm tracking closely it because at this rate, my battery will survive only at load cycles about 150 instead of the 1000 expected, gives me the idea that this could very well be a bad battery. The computer is also warm to the touch while you sleep, not connected to the power supply. I NAP active but even taking into account should not be hotter my iPhone did the same thing.

  I have reset the SMC, and it solved a couple of problems. The charger works fine now and my performance improved considerably (which made me feel better, either it is a high-performance laptop, a 11-inch MacBook Air should not he surpass), and battery life has improved. I feel even if it uses a lot of power in his sleep. Maybe I need to turn off the NAP and see if that makes a difference. The graphic bug still persists however, and I don't have enough time to see if the max battery is depleting again.

  In regards to the bug, is there something that can be done? Basically, I want to assure you that I took all appropriate measures or if someone else has this problem to see if it can be software related instead of my computer.

• with IOS 10.0.2 - 5s iphone Bluetooth problems

  Since upgrading ISO 10.0.2 my M50 from PLT Plantronics (helmet unique headset) do not reliably connects with my iPhone 5 more. I have to go to the settings, activate bluetooth turned off/turned on, touch the device on the bluetooth page, etc. Once it connects successfully, it will reconnect (if I turn off the headset and turn it back on) for a short period. The next day he does not connect itself but I play with bluetooth on the iPhone again.
